    I have been wondering for a while, what is the amount of fans that come to a game for single A, double A, and triple A, and how do u adjust to larger crowds

    • @allenuconn
      @allenuconn Před 3 lety

      Depends on the location ..... some A ball clubs draw large crowds and some don't. AAA has the better stadiums and accordingly they have a nice fan base. Over 10,000 for a game would be unusual.

    Hey Matt, thanks for the videos. With the draft just behind us, and as a former first round pick, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what you would value in first rounder if you were a scouting director... like if you're big on toolsy guys, k/bb ratio for college bats, pitchers with projectable frames, etc. And how would you value drafting for team need vs. talent. Thanks again.

    I live here in Eugene and the field that you played at (Civic Stadium) was not a nice place and the location wasn’t good.
    Now, we have PK Park which is shared by the University of Oregon and Emeralds. It was opened in 2009. Much nicer place. Only reason I remember you is from your time in Eugene and Portland.

    I throw fast, but I love first base and I'm really good at it. But I'm also really good at pitching. I'm big, tall, and a big target for people to throw to across the diamond. At pitching, though, I throw fast, only get ground balls, and I strike a lot of people out. But I rather play first. Which one do you think I should really focus on and practice?

    Hey Matt, I have finally begun to find that my playing position is in the outfield, However I have noticed that I am short arming when throwing but have no idea how to fix it.. I was wondering if you had any tips or drills. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

    • @AntonelliBaseball
      @AntonelliBaseball  Před 7 lety +2

      It just takes time to break your old habit. I also don't think it's a bad thing to have a shorter arm in the outfield. I know it goes against what most teach, but there are some outfielders that have shorter arm circles. If you want it to be longer, you will have to just really concentrate on it while playing catch. Do it over and over again. Eventually it will take hold. Thanks for commenting and watching!

I made every team I ever tried out for , my high school team went 20 - 0 and professional teams were tripping over themselves to sign me up;, I got an open opportunity to tryout and possible offer from the Devil Rays . BUT, I had a girlfriend talk me outta of it, (dumb) Yeah, I'll never forget when my parents found out I let that go; as well as scholarships, If I could go back I would've , to see my folks not have that look of disappointment . I wish I could have seen the future without that success! But, I still go out and do the batting and fielding, I'm telling you at 39 (lol) I"m better than I was then! Just give me this shot again!
