@@falsio2949 we can try both and decide later. Another upside of going with Draven is of course you can pick another second region if you want, but not having PnZ which already has bunch of cheap discard option like Poro Cannon and Zaunite Urchin can be tough for the deck.

Wasn't expecting the champs teased in the yordle expansion to be revealed so soon, but with Senna and Sion already shown I'm pumped for Xerath!

My guess that Xerath is gonna destroy mana gems to either make spell Cost less or expand spell mana gems. In level up he probably gain Round Start: refill all your spell mana.
There's one follower that have something like Round Start: refill 1 spell mana.
I also have this feeling that some followers can be played using spell mana.

@@RickyMuzakki There's a theorycrafted Discard Control/Combo with Viego and Gluttony. Really nuts if it happens
a leveled Sion dying will instantly trigger Viego level up if the opponent is not dead yet assuming. There's lots of ways to kill a leveled Sion for instance Gluttony into farron is nuts. Plus Viego greatly helps SIon level up because of all the growing mists

Hmm having never seen Sion before and then seeing this trailor gets me really interested in his Lore especially since I've read a lot of Lore on the noxian big 3 and he's never shown up to my knowledge.

Hes used by swain as a way to control the surrounding areas of Noxus, if someone dares rebel, stand up or question him, Sion is sent there to "quell" any form of uprising.
Besides that Sion was responsible for killing Jarvan I in his original life, after dying he was resurrected back under Boran Darkwills rule, but deemed too uncontrollable so he was sealed away until Swain took control and saw use for him.
Actually, the metal thing Sion has in his jaw is the crown of the fist Demacian King, Jarvan I (Jarvan IV's grand grandfather)
He killed Jarvan the 1st. Not Prince Jarvan the 4th the current champion, or King Jarvan the 3rd the follower card that draws Jarvan, but the 1st Jarvan!
He was then revived by blood magic. That jaw thing he is wearing is the crown of the Jarvan he chocked to death.

this reveal surprizing me even more than Zenna, the effect is so cool and gave you the target to discard but return to the deck and gave strong effect like overwhelm

How is it suprising? LoL is a dying game that's 10+ years old and LoR is new and trying to add as many existing champs as possible. It's only natural a new game would get new stuff quicker

LoR is working a ton with voice actors and artists
The only upside of this is that LoR is considered cannon in the League universe
so we are getting a bit of story progression and character introductions that won't be a part of LoL but develop the world
This can be very important for when Riot decides to go full Marvel one day

Is it just me or does Sion look like some weird Thanos pog thing at 1:40. Yea he’s like shouting “war” or something but those few seconds kind of drop the animation down a notch or two for me because of his facial expressions (like maybe I think he doesn’t look quite angry enough). Still a great champ and animation in general.
Maybe it’s partially because I never really though of Sion as having a bottom set of lips cause I thought the crown was his whole bottom jaw not just mounted to it.

I think the idea is that he is considered expendable since they can revive him. Also he was in a way literally discarded when Boram locked him up.
The Sion basically kills everyone in the battle, foes and friends alike, it's really well done looks like he is rampaging and killing everything

@@elladan23 Well I had some ideas. Like 1 drop 1/3 deep when this card is tossed put it into play. A burst spell, gain 3 life then if your opponent has more life than you toss cards equal to the difference, buff the 1/4 toad to a 2/4 and have it toss more, etc etc
Roar of the slayer could be a EZ Draven staple.
It doesn't target, so it doesn't level up ez, and since roar will hit the weakes enemy, most times I'll just hit a 1 or 2 drop, you are better of running culling strike in Ez-Draven
@@3men219 actually, ez Draven excels at getting rid of the board. So most of the time, they won't have a lot of units. This could then target much larger units which Culling Strike wouldn't have been able to. It doesn't target Which is a problem. But I believe running this as a 1-2 off is justifiable.
I wonder if we'll ever get some discarding support for shadow isles. I would love to have a deck with noxian zombies and SI ghosts.

I like how sion is basically the first champion to have interaction to other champions even tho he is not played and is in hand
They are just cinematic voicelines not the real thing in the gameplay
I think that'd edits for the video, they do it a lot for showcases.

I just intrigued that Blood Mages or Hemomancy more openly exist in Noxus thanks to Vladimir's teaching, which means Sion is no longer unique, just the first of many, as seen in the new followers. Like, should've seen this coming when the lore said Vladimir also taught it to the military, not just nobles.
