    Am I missing something? The description mentions "true wireless" a few times but this don't appear to be wireless?

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  Před rokem

      I apologize for the confusion in the previous description. That was an error on my part. The KZ D-Fi is not a true wireless earbud; it is a wired in-ear monitor that can be connected to your audio device using a 3.5mm audio jack. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I have updated the description accordingly.

    I dont think the tuning capablity adds anything over their non tuning version. It is not powered, which means it only allowed you to tune down the available frequency. Right?

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  Před rokem

      Yes,you are correct that the tuning capability of the KZ D-Fi does not add any additional power to the sound. The tuning switches allow you to adjust the frequency response by either attenuating or boosting certain frequency ranges. The switches are not powered, so they do not add any extra energy or alter the output power of the IEM.
      The purpose of the tuning switches is to provide users with the option to fine-tune the sound according to their personal preferences. By adjusting the switches, you can tailor the sound signature to better suit different genres of music or your individual listening preferences. It's important to note that the tuning switches primarily offer subtle changes in the overall sound rather than drastic alterations.
      If you prefer a non-tuning version then the standard version still delivers excellent sound quality and performance.

    How does the D-Fi sound compare to the Simgot EW100P assuming we exclude the Tuning functionality? The Standard non switch D-Fi is currently priced the same as the EW100P. I might consider the D-Fi because of the All Metal build, but I also want better sound.

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  Před rokem

      They are both solid performers within their price-range, but the specific sound signature may vary depending on personal preferences. Personally, I'd probably choose the KZ. I like it's detail reproduction and built quality slightly better. I have to admit, though, that I haven't tried the non-tunable version, so I can only assume that it will sound the same as these, in their standard configuration.

    Is the difference between ea500 and d-fi very noticeable?

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  Před rokem

      In direct comparison, the difference is noticeable. However, when evaluating the KZ D-Fi on its own, it stands out as a pretty good option.

      @@YuriBrus so should I buy the ea500 for 80$?I already have the blon 03 and CCA cra+,will it feel like an upgrade from these budget iems considering their price

    • @YuriBrus
      @YuriBrus  Před rokem +1

      @Cryptic They are, but they are not the only option out there. Just this morning, I was listening again to the QKZ x HBB Khan, and I would recommend those as an upgrade. Not so much in regards to its built quality, but in my opinion, sound quality wise, those are really hard to beat.
