the problem with the ZA3 is that its impedance reactive so the output changes the FR depending on the impedance of the speaker used.. so some speakers will sound brighter than they should... Fosi fixed that issue with the V3 mono that has the proper output filters.... with the V3 mono you can also use the Hifiman speaker amp adapter and those amps work perfectly with a set of headphones.... they are getting ready to release a new DAC for use on the V3 mono amps too...

Hi, my OLED display always show 32bit even when playing something with lower bit rates(16, 24etc). The frequency shows correctly though. would you happen to know why? I use it with iphone

Phone is not the only option. I run my dongles from a small cheap Hiby R3ii or Shanling m1s player, with Hiby OS. Better sound then the phone, there is actually a big difference, I would say 20% better on non-android device. And my streaming for Tidal and Qobuz is fine, good sound quality. I think you cannot tell the difference from full size DAP with same specs and dac chips. These players are much smaller then a phone, very convenient.

i recently bought the dc03 pro, the main difference seems to be this cheaper one only has a 3.5mm output but thats fine for me (i read that balanced 4.4mm output makes barely any difference to listening experience). the performance of this dc03 itself seems excellent, although i cant say how it compares to the dc04 or others like the ifi hip dacs. but, the usc c to usb c cable lasted barely a week until it broke internally and had to be replaced. the cable on this dc04 looks the same, so be aware that may break too after a short time.

No one talking about the walls. The room can make any high end speakers sounds crap. I had Dynaudio speakers in a house in a very big "nice room" but with different kinds of walls, and the ceiling was of wood. The was no bass at all.

You tube audio is lossy mp3. Playing your audio with differing USB cables and expecting us to hear a difference is a fool's errand.

Thank you Yuri! It is so hard to find a proper streaming network bridge, the Rivo is it. I have had mine for a few weeks. The first thing I did was to upgrade the power supply, I do this with all of my gear when I can. I used the Farad Super 3 and the improvement was immediate in my system. Much cleaner, more dynamics, better focus and separation. Then, what kicked the Rivo over the top, was Roon. I did pick up the Roon Nucleus One and have been incredibly impressed with the overall sound quality I am getting out of the Rivo, and even my WiiM devices, including the new Ultra. If you are looking for a true network streaming bridge, give the Rivo a serious look, it sounds much better than my Mercury V2, by quite a lot.

As an owner if DX300 I would rather go with DX170 because it is really slim and nice.

Its digital, this is why the digital signal (Hi-Res Audio) that comes from Apples server (which could be in excess of a 1,000 miles away) gets to your DAC in error free perfect condition. Magic, no, digital protocols that correct the data at every point in the process, as a point USB also includes such protocols. Don't believe me, easy test of USB cable....Connect cable to PC and external HD. Copy a file from one to the other, check that the file is IDENTICAL. if it is then "success" the cable is perfect.

USB cables transmit data, not audio. The USB protocol ensures that data leaves and arrives intact (it includes error detection and correction). Therefore the DAC receives a perfect digital signal (exactly as it left the CD transport, or even as it left an Apple server over 1,000 miles away), regardless of how much you spend on the USB cable (Amazon Basics cable is more than good enough).

Actually I was on a market, searching bluetooth earbuds for running cos ones that I have are constantly disconnect from my phone while I running cos of the cables they have. So I was as I say searching ones bluetooth and now I wanny buy this?😂 that's not going to fix my problem but afther I saw when you open the box and pull out all that! I was shocked! DX 180 has tempting specs and I've watched other very favorable reviews. To me, all the top and bottom ports are reversed, Very unfavorably, to me. Might have gotten one anyway, but did just get another brand (at $1k). Which is large and heavy. For home desktop/ system connection. Did not realize about the iBasso DX180. Major factor was what was immediately at retail here (NY NY). Some A&K was also available in same store. No iBasso there. So I also got (Amaz.Z) Hiby M300 for pocket and travel use.

Which one is better to drive 100Watts, 6-ohms, 3way speakers with built in 10-inch woofer?

Are these as good as those power supplies with big size, weight and metal casing? Which ones are better in terms of low heat-up? I've heard Fosi supply heat up.
