The specs are second to none. I’ve never seen these specs on a dap before
Love your videos so well done.

@@YuriBrus too bad these don't take amp cards like the 300/320 but 8 dac chips WOW
Thank you very much for the review 🎉❤🎉
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Happy listening! 🎶😊
Good review Yuri.
Yuri, is it reallly worth it compares to combine a phone + a portable DAC?
I think that this so expensive DAP's have sense if you take the maximum profit for them. Of course if your budget is high you can add this DAP to a stationary system, but ot could be also interesting if you connect it to your amp and speakers anmd uses it as a player/DAC or simple Player.
What do you think about this kind of use?
Is possible to operate the DAP remotly from a phone?
What I always wonder is why this DAP haven't more internal storage capacity, they allways depends on a SD Card that you have to' add to the DAP cost.
Thank you for your feedback, Vicente!
Utilizing your existing smartphone as a source while benefiting from the enhanced audio quality provided by a dedicated DAC can indeed offer a cost-effective alternative to high-end DAPs. This setup is particularly advantageous for those who primarily use streaming services.
When it comes to using a DAP with an amp and speakers, it's certainly a viable option for maximizing the device's capabilities. Many DAPs offer line-out functionality, allowing them to serve as dedicated sources in a stationary system.
While I haven't explored remote operation options extensively, I'm confident that there are apps available that allow you to control the device remotely from your phone.
Regarding internal storage capacity, it's a valid point that many DAPs rely on expandable storage via SD cards. While built-in storage capacity varies among models, the use of SD cards offers flexibility for users to expand storage according to their needs and preferences. However, having more internal storage capacity as a standard feature could certainly be beneficial for some users.
Overall, the choice between a standalone DAP and a smartphone with a portable DAC depends on individual preferences. In my case, I use a phone DAC combo when traveling and a DAP for listening in different locations at home, such as on the sofa, in the garden, or even in bed.
Thank you for the review. It was really good.
But sorry if i missed it, but is this a review unit or a loaner unit or a unit your bought yourself? Would love a small disclaimer like that to know about yohr biases.
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I appreciate your interest and feedback. To address your question, this iBasso DX260 unit is actually a review unit provided by the manufacturer for evaluation purposes. I want to assure you that I always strive to provide honest and unbiased reviews, regardless of whether the product is a review unit or one that I've purchased myself.
Additionally, I want to emphasize that I only choose to create videos of the products that I genuinely believe are worth it. Making these videos is very time-consuming, and I cannot afford to waste my or anybody else's time on products that I would not recommend myself.
Thanks again for watching, and I hope you found the review helpful!
@@YuriBrus thank you so much for being honest. Just a small note, a small disclaimer before starting the review or at the end of the review will be nice and will give the viewer a nice gauge of your biases.
Thanks for the great review mate, cheers!
@@mokisan Thank you for your thoughtful suggestion and feedback! I've taken note of your recommendation, and moving forward, I'll be sure to include a disclaimer at the start or end of the review to provide viewers with a clear understanding of any potential biases. Best regards, Yuri
@@YuriBrus thank you so much! Always nice to see a reviewer address the viewers general critique. Cheers!
Contra el Fiio M11 Plus, cual tiene mejor calidad de audio?
Do you have any dap recommandation for meze empyrean? Would like a good synergy. This DX260 sound like a perfect match but I’ve a good deal for hiby r8. Can’t decide!😅
I haven't personally tried the Meze Empyrean headphones yet, so I can't speak to their synergy with specific digital audio players. However, I do tend to lean towards iBasso when it comes to DAPs. While the Hiby R8 might be tempting with a good deal, I have already seen the iBasso DX260 priced under $800.00, which sounds like a fantastic deal to me. Ultimately, both are reputable brands, so you're likely to get great performance either way!

Does it have bit-perfect to download loseless music from streaming app? And between this and hiby r6 pro II which one you think is better? Thanks
Is there any use of spending much money on a DAP if the files playing are lossy like in Spotify unlike tidal/qobuZ etc..whats your opinion ?
Here's a response you could consider:
Great question, @vaisakhmurali6918! While it's true that lossy files like those from Spotify may not fully exploit the capabilities of high-end Digital Audio Players, there are still benefits to investing in quality hardware. DAPs often offer superior audio processing, amplification, and customization options, which can enhance the overall listening experience, even with lossy files. Additionally, if you listen to lossless or high-resolution audio formats occasionally, a high-quality DAP can make a significant difference.
@@YuriBrus okay thanks for the response. So actually if Im considering buying a DAP , which one you rate in terms of 1. Sound 2.UI experience among fiio/hiby/ ibasso. Why i highlighted UI is because i think some DAPs doesn't support Android softwares much like Spotify etc. Everything supports Tidal i guess but since Im from India, Tidal/quboz is not supported.
@@vaisakhmurali6918 When it comes to DAPs, most brands offer competitive quality these days. Considering your preference for both sound quality and UI experience, I'd recommend iBasso. Their DAPs typically come with both Android and their own operating system called Mango, providing flexibility in software usage. Additionally, iBasso is known for its excellent customer service, which can be a valuable asset.
@@YuriBrus If you get your hands on hiby R4 ever, please do a review on it.. ibasso dx 170 is a decent one i guess which is in my list.. but the price of R4 is very less.. and do compare these both on a verdict level
Nice review! So how does the 8 dacs compare to dongles with 2 of the same dscs.😅Cheers.
Hi. Does it have any heating issues?
Tia
do you notice delay when playing game on USB dac mode?
Great review Yuri! Always watched your review.
But for some reason I was unsubscribed from your channel! Resubscribed.
Really love your content. The dx260 looks like a great dap at a price which can very well topple the uber flagship dap's.
Always wanted to look at the DX series of dap's from ibasso. 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words and for resubscribing to my channel! I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoy my content and find the reviews helpful. The iBasso DX260 is indeed a fantastic DAP, and I'm glad I could showcase its features for you. I hope you continue to enjoy the content, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or suggestions. Have a great day and best regards, Yuri 😊🎶
nice watch
are you a review or an ad for the product.
Is that an IDG Big Pilot?
1000 $ without analytical EQ and no crossfeed ? Noope.Nice review though 👍
If it's made well, and this unit does, you dont need it. Honestly this player is superb
nice one, but this is just too expensive. Better off with a Mojo 2 and decent IEMs
I'm still scratching my head trying to figure out what all he was talking about. $1k audio player? It's your headphones and or earbuds that make the difference in sound quality. The box looks impressive, like a toy for rich people who have nothing better to spend their money on. Pair up an old smartphone with some Sony WF-1000XM5 buds. 'mic drop'
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
Never said I did. I found a DX320 in mint condition for $1k. Is it worth that? Would I be able to sell it for a profit? My 1000XM5 sound ridiculously good with my apple S21. How much better can it be?
@@riskybusiness3413 i agree with the guy above you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. This is deep in the rabbit hole hobby not for general people or audience. This is audiophile device for people wanting the perfect sound and willing to pay big money to achieve that. It is like i can just get a toyota why would i buy a mercedes benz something like that. For most people it is true but for the enthusiast they are willing to pay extra. Dont judge too fast try the earphone or headphone and devices for audiophile use proper setup using cable(more voltage and current). It doesnt need to be expensive you can even get proper audiophile level enjoyment cheaper than XM5. Wireless device still unable to compete with direct cable to amplifier audio connection.
@@pelilin2519 Well then, guess some of you 'audiophiles' must have been born with a silver spoon in your ears. 🙃
@@riskybusiness3413If a casual guy with a smartphone and Sony Buds wants to tell you something about sound quality... 'mic drop' Kid, if you've obviously never had the chance to enjoy hi-fi sound, it's only logical that you can't understand why anyone would buy such expensive equipment!
