This reminded me of a story that was told at my dad's memorial, everyone was sharing their favorite memories of my dad and his best friend got up and told us about the time they were kids and they got chased by a moose in the Alaskan wilderness. They climbed up a tree to escape it and had to wait until it left to come back down, they could've gotten trampled and he said they were scared shitless but also laughing the whole time. A couple weeks went by after that incident and my dad and his friend were walking along side the road, and they ran into the moose again. They knew it was the same one because it took one look at them and started charging. I think it's so funny that the moose remembered them. My dad never told me that story when he was alive, but I'm so glad I got to hear it from his friend.
This was truly a great episode

There is always something about walking away from a group when young and high then noticing how high you are! Lol!
My Aunt Helen used to walk me down the street to the park, for football practice, when I was about 9. She would usually smoke a joint on the way. One day, I befged her to share it with me. Finally, she was like, ok, but don't tell your mama. I got high every practice after that, for the rest of the year. 3rd grade. I can relate to Uncle Al.
