I love S&G, have all my life. As a teenager I was blown away by the Album 'Bridge over Troubled Water'. However, I was spell bound at this performance. I have never heard anything/anyone like this man. So as a result I have spent the last 3 hours listening to all Toms performances I could find on CZcams .......... Just beyond beyond. First time witnessing one of these reactions and loved that also. I have pressed the thumbs up and subscribed. Love what you do :)

The Golden buzzer means that the act goes straight to the finals. On the regular AGT there are 5. Four judges and then Terry. On this one there is only 4 because of only 3 judges.
Add Tom Ball's CREEP to your list. He was AGT ALL STARS with that,too! ❤ I love Tom Ball. His music, and the way he volicizes his tone. All give me creeps!

There is a Asian contest that had 36 men vying to get retcord contracts. It was back in the end of 2019 where 3 men sang this same song. Please check it out on SUPER VOCAL, SOUND OF SILENCE. The first guy has a rather deep voice and they blended so well together.

He sang his own arrangement /composure/ harmony of the song with just a couple of musicians in the background ; therefore much more difficult than the original with two singers in a high-tech recording studio.

He just released the official video of the Sound of Silence on his channel. But you should also react to his performance on the BGT final where he did a Tom Jones song. Very powerful and I think much better than the Sound of Silence.

Vocal acrobatics, flippin & dippin absolutely DETRACT from a vocal performance. Fact. Example: ANYTHING that Christina Aguilera touches. She RUINS everything that comes out of her mouth, as she can't stop from irritating & grating vocal tricks. TRUE talent - such as Tom Ball, or Michael Buble, strike you with the tonal purity of their voice and harmonic choices that they make that capture your soul and take you on a journey. Music should move you - it should lift you and carry you - and that is what Tom has.
With the way he interperting the song he make it sound that the whet is doing is effortless. and no work.

As for Tom Ball, all the women think he is cute but if you are honest, in real life women would not give a slightly overweight redheaded, rosy cheeked guy with really bushy eyebrows a second look.
