They built the walls around the track of The Flying Dutchman so they don't have to empty the entire pond every time for small maintenance

Regarding the chopped onions you got at 34:21 : next time, try eating your fries with mayonnaise, curry ketchup (it's like a spicy ketchup they eat a lot in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium) and onions - it's a sauce combination known as 'Friet Speciaal' (translated: Special Fries). And thank you for the lovely vlog!
I knew there’d be some kind of explanation, so thank you! We did actually buy a bottle of curry ketchup and some frites sauce to bring home having enjoyed it there 😁 thank you for watching!

Did you also already know that if you stay at the Efteling Hotel or vacation park Bosrijk or vacation park Loonsche Land you get free park admission each day and breakfast is included in the price? Like, if you visit in July, a standard comfort room for 2 adults in the hotel is 421 euro, but that's including park entree fees (204, as it's 51 per person per day) and breakfast (40).

Excellent vid! Thank you for showing us around. I cannot wait until Danse Macabre opens (hopefully) sometime this year. Spookslot's successor looks very promising.
Dance Macabre will probably opening in October 2024....and the Pirana ( rapid river) will totally be renewed ( 8 mln euro's)...the oldest rapid river in the world. ;)
