- In this video, I do a walk-through and review Houzz Pro software. I've been using HOUZZ.com for years to showcase our work. They have been offering more and more tools to contractors and designers. It seems like every time that I log in, I see a new tool. If you are a new contractor and are trying to decide between several platforms- I would give HOUZZ a try to see if it works for you. There are many great tools that they have as part of the platform that others don't have, and they are working on some innovations right now to make sure they are on par OR better than the competition.

Thank you very much for doing this video. I have been looking into Houzzpro. Wish it had a section you can create scope of work.
They are working on that. Right now there are many features in production that will make it more useful to both contractors and designers. I think there might be a way to do this using the estimating feature. I tried and could not make it work, however it seems like it should.
@@SawHorseDesignBuild that will be good if they get that done. I just found out the other day that they don't have Quickbooks Online integration for Canada so will put Houzz Pro on the back burner until they have that.
@@jamescrozier8156 Getting all of these things to work together is a pain. It took me months to get QBO to work with job costs- had to implement "classes" to act as customers so I could run reports.
@@SawHorseDesignBuild sorry to bother you again. How is Houzz Pro with having customer selections?
@@jamescrozier8156 Good question- if you use the designer side then you can have them sign off on them now. I think they will be releasing the contractor side very soon. One of the directors pinged me on Friday and said they had updates so I can ask them then.
Say if I started a painting company but I only wanted to paint kitchen cabinets.. would Houzz pro allow me to only get leads for painting cabinets vs somebody wanting their house painted?
That's a great question. I know some categories are broad and others can be narrowed down. If they don't allow for just cabinets- perhaps pass the painting leads over to another company for a small referal fee. I am just searching to Sue this online business, they do not help contractor and just charge them.
Houzz Pro is a scam. It was pitched as a lead generation service. It is not. They are stealing $500 a month from my small business. Matthew Moynan blatantly lied and got us to sign a 1yr subscription under false pretenses. When I confronted them with the fact that I was lied to, they said tough luck.
I actually do get quite a few leads from this service so I know that it works. It is much better than other lead service who sell less than qualified leads. What category are you under? There are other tools that you have access to as well as part of the PRO services.

It's harder to keep up with the software than the whole remodeling or construction. That's a pass.
Is there another software that you use? We use several platforms since all of our clients need something different.
DONT DO IT, ITS A F... SCAMMM...they'll blame you for keeping the page they do nothing, get away with this BS
Which page are you referring to? The profile page with your projects is free. Most HOUZZ users don't pay.
