Brilliant. Do you use much damper pedal in this?
In general - not too much, slightly more in the middle section where it becomes a bit smoother but I avoid too much sustain pedal when playing groove. I use my ear mostly...space is just as important!
I have to learn this for a pit, how much experience do you have and any advice on how to practice?
Slow it down, and then slow it down some more. And use a metronome!
