      CJtheOMEGA lol karma is when you do something bad and get the same treatment back. meaning in order for him to have karma he would have had to end someone’s career or something. both of those are arguable especially the jeremy lin situation and even then i would rather have a melo than a jeremy lin and and dantony is a crybaby himself so it wasn’t just melo. and him being a ball hog is just his play style it’s literally nothing to have karma from😂

    You’re right.
    Iverson’s downfall was his own fault.
    Plenty of accomplished players accepted lessened roles on the team post career prime. Vince Carter is a shining example of someone who’s shown that he is above his ego which is why he’s still around. Philadelphia gave Allen a pity contract his final year in the NBA because they saw the writing on the wall for Iverson’s career.
    A.I.’s pride & ego ended his NBA career.

    • @CJEstradaMartinez
      @CJEstradaMartinez Před 4 lety +9

      He should have used David Robinson for an excellent example. The former league MVP accepted coming off the bench later in his career. Tim Duncan became the focal point of their offense in 1998. The Spurs wouldn't have won championships in 1999 and 2003 without "The Admiral" making that sacrifice.

On the flip side, Iverson was overly emotional at times when he didn't necessarily need to be.

Kobe went out with a bang, scoring his last 15 points in 2minutes and 54 seconds and winning the game again for his team. Classic kobe, I teared up for a moment just appreciating his career and everything he did for the league. He shot it 50 times because that’s how many times his teammates wanted him to shoot it, or more. Shaq wanted him to get 50 and Kobe said hell no, and then his crazy ass dropped 60. stefan marinkovic since we compare Kobe to the all time legends let’s go to the stats of their last games, try Kareem, who is the NBA’s All-Time leading scorer, went out with 7pts, Magic Johnson’s last game: 8pts 5 assists, Oscar Robertson’s last game: 6pts 2-13 shooting, Jerry west’s last game: 4pts 2 rebounds, Bird didn’t do too bad 12pts 5 boards 4ast. The second All-Time leading scorer in NBA history, Karl Malone scored 2 points in the 21 minutes he played in the the last game of his career, and the GOAT himself posted 15 points in a 107-87 loss. In recent memory, the last game Paul pierce played at least 15 minutes he had 2pts on 1-5 shooting. Tim Duncan and dirk did pretty good, Tim with 19pts and 5 boards, and Dirk with 20pts 10 boards, but dwade probably had the Next best “last game” with a triple double scoring 25pts 11boards 10ast on 28 shot attempts in a 20 point loss. You sound like a clown saying “don’t talk about stats” 🤣. Kobe, down 94-84, scores 15points in 2mins 54 seconds to put the lakers up 99-96 and caps off his 60pt night with an assist. “Don’t talk stats” 🤡 appreciate greatness, especially when one of the nba’s greatest legends has a game like THAT to cap off his career.

      @Markel Scott so one time, Mcgrady had a freak occurrence where he hit a few 3's to win a game in the final minute of the game, so now he's a hall of famer?! That's the one argument people have when they try to justify Mcgrady being in the hall of fame

      @Markel Scott yeah he led the league in scoring with 28p a game but only won 21 games! I've been watching tmac since he was drafted, he sucked on the raptors, he came into his own scoring the ball in Orlando, came to my rockets, let us down in the playoffs over and over again just like he did in Orlando! So I know first hand how overrated he is, you shoulder look it up... There's a 30 min video on CZcams about it

    I never got to see Andrew Toney play, but he definitely belongs on a list like this. He was a star player and even Larry Bird described him as the best player he had ever seen in crucial times of a game. His career was sadly ended by stress fractures in bones in his feet.

    Andy Hoops you forgot...
    Charles 'Sir Charles" Barkley, had a bad ending to his career as well, he tore his quad while playing with the Rockets, and got lifted of the court by his teammates, only to comeback for one last game to score two points later in the season. The was all for one of the greatest NBA players of all time!
