- This video shows how some fun can be had with some 8 1/2" and 2 1/2" strips of fabrics. Simple but effective patchwork that can be made using just a few colours and a stripe as shown in the video, or multi colours. The blocks shown measure 10 1/2" square.

I was worried that the pandemic had laid you low so I'm very happy to see you back on CZcams with your lovely Aussie accent and your clear and cheerful instructions for making just the loveliest quilts. I just finished the QAYG quilt series and am planning what fabrics to use to get as adorable a quilt as you made in that series. I can't wait to get started. Welcome back!!!

I like the idea of sewing the strip to all the pieces of fabric, what a time saver, much better than sewing little square blocks and much less chance of getting them wonky! Love it!

Love the block, I did a similar one, the small squares were black or white and the long strips were all orange Halloween prints. It is one of my husbands favorite quilts, I bring it out each Oct. Thanks for reminding me I'll try it in other colors.
