Love my Weber Genesis with side grill that replaced a Kitchenaide. Its all in the grill housing, and Weber has that one piece design that there is no need to worry about the grill heating high enough to melt the spot welds and cause the damn thing to collapse on the tank below...That is the experience I had with an all decked out stainless steel Kittchen aide ...and I hope Kitchenaide fixed that issue, I mean I nearly lost my life, our home and guest, if it wasn't for a box of baking soda I had in the kitchen.

I've had Weber charcoal grills since I was a kid - 60 years back. Love them. I bought a Weber gas grill, and it was/is amazing. But after 4 years I had to replace parts. Some expected, others not. The issue I have is some of the parts no longer existed. One of the reasons I like Weber is its popularity, so expect to be able to find parts. That said, after 7 years it was completely toast - rusted through and falling apart. I replaced it today with a new Genesis model. Thing is, I only got 7 years out of the last (somewhat painfully), and I take care of my grills. I have a cover for the winter, I keep it clean, and so on. So, why comment? I'd like to see Weber step it up a bit. So, so close to perfection! That said, better than any other gas grill I've experienced by far. So far. In my case, price is not the goal. Reliability and functionality is.

Hi, Just bought the Genesis SE-E- 335, so far the only improvement I would like is adjustable feet, so that you can level it without lumps of wood shoved under a couple of the wheels. It should be a no brainer, but I don't think any brand does it, why it would only add a few cents to the cost and as over in Aus my model was $2200, I reckon they could swallow the extra. This is my fourth Weber, Kettle, baby Q, Q and now Genesis, all still working great. Cheers

Can I get a stainless steel propane ex-335 with the knob lighting feature? It blanks out when I try to order the upgrade.

E-325S or S-325S are basically the only grill 99% of people will ever need. Side burners on grills are mostly a gimmick and most people have FAR better grills indoors on their stove top. Also you're prepping all your pot/pan food inside anyways so its just weird to lug it all outside to cook it outside to lug it inside all the while losing heat on your food depending on the time of year. Even buyers who want to buy "pro" grade grills will never benefit from those features. Just buy a E/S-325S, a bar light (for $20), a cover and you're literally ready to grill on quality gear for everything you need, and nothing you don't.

Why are built-in gas grills more expensive than portable gas grills? Visually, it appears to be more parts and stainless steel on portables than built-ins.

That's the special edition model and a step up from the E325. Higher price but you get some pretty cool features including a side burner and more surface area to use Weber Crafted accessories like the pizza stone, griddle, wok and different grates.

The Weber Spirit II E-310 and E-315 models both feature three main burners and have similar cooking areas. The E-315 has an enclosed cabinet for storage and integrated tool hooks. The Spirit E-320 also includes a side burner for additional cooking options and a cabinet for storage.

WEBER HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Hopefully you don’t ever need to actually call them. I seem to always have the same issue with these Weber NG grills. Never gets hot enough, for which they are not capable of troubleshooting via their support staff.
DO NOT BUY IF YOU’RE A STEAKER
