    I've had my 2018 for two seasons now. Here's a little advice: get a Corbin or similar seat, as the stock one will kill you. Get decent shocks. Go stage 1 (V&H, S&S) and get the tune to go with it. You will add about 10 horsepower. Then, rip on that sucker!! If you have the balls, this thing will do damn near 100mph in 2nd gear! She's a screamer, if you're willing to drive it like it's capable of.

    Love your videos! I had watched your video where you had taken a test ride on the Bobber. I loved your reactions throughout the ride.
    I had picked up a 2022 Scout classic just last Friday Aug 12th, and I'm already loving everything about it! It is my first street cruiser. The ride is very nice and relaxing, and the power is definitely there when you need it. I'm still in the break in period, so I'm not hammering down on the throttle yet. But with what power that I've already experienced I know that it can go quick. The forward controls had taken a bit to get use to, plus working the friction zone on slow speed areas (like in 10 mph zones) is starting to feel natural.
    Before picking up my Scout I haven't ridden a bike in over 23 years. Back then I was use to dirt bikes and dual sports. This little cruiser is nothing like those other bikes. It is a perfect bike for to and from work and short weekend get-away trips. And yes, it can keep up with the big boys with ease. It's my skills that I have to continue working on.
    I appreciate your videos. I'll continue to watch then as time goes.

    Nice. Glad to see guys still getting excited over the bobber. It’s a great bike to grow into. You will fall in love with this bike. Then after break in. When you can really open it up. You’ll fall in love again. Then when you do a full stage 1 it completely changes the bike. Turns it into a beast.

    Welcome to the Indian Scout club man. I bought a 2015 Indian Scout...probably have one from the first couple months of production. It is still going strong. No issues at all. I enjoy riding it too much to ever sell it. If you think it has power now wait until you throw some pipes, better intake and tune it up. Holy crap, it is a beast at this point. I only wish I had ABS but they didn't offer it at the time. I ended up converting mine to a Scout Bobber by buying all the parts needed to do it. Can't beat the styling. Enjoy!

    Congrats man! Welcome to the life. Just remember to take it slow and learn/ride at *your* own pace. It's such a fulfilling and freeing experience that not enough people get to enjoy.
    Some of my favourite weekends are when I just hop on a bike and get completely lost in an area I've never been before

      hsbrasil you’ll have a ton of fun with either scout or scout sixty. I don’t have much experience with cruisers or motorcycles in general but I don’t find my bobber intimidating and it doesn’t seem that heavy to me but I can see how it’s power can get me in a lot of trouble if I’m not careful. If you’re not sure, I highly suggest you go to a dealer and try them. Try every bike you’re interested in and get the one that suits and you feel good and comfortable on👍🏼

    Lucky! I'm 26 and my bike list includes: 1998 Honda CBR F4 600 (Painted like a fighter jet), X2 1983 XJ750's (Chopped and bobbed) and a 1981 XS1100 (lowered, and later stolen and found destroyed). Otherwise, I've ridden almost anything you can list and learned to ride initially on a VMAX so power was always in my motive hahah.
    I really hope people like you appreciate what they are able to get, and I'm sure you work hard for it. I've sadly always dreamed of what a luxury it would be being able to spend anything over $2,000 on a motorcycle. I'm torn between the Scout Bobber and the FTR1200. Awesome bike and I'm pumped to see a new person join the lifestyle! One day I will roll and new Indian into my garage, and I know that for a fact.

    My first bike was a '18 Bobber. I didn't have my endorsement yet so I couldn't test ride one. I just bought it and trailer-ed it home for it's first ride. I didn't want to ride it off the lot, too nervous. One year and 10,000 miles later. I still love it.

    I picked up my 6th bike (2018 HD Iron 1200) about a week after you bought this! Glad to see you are enjoying it and I definitely would have bought a Scout Bobber if it wasn't $5-6k more OTD than my Iron. Safe riding brother.

    • @Hendoneesia
      @Hendoneesia Před 2 lety

      What country is that in? $11,000 for the Scout Bobber, $12,000 for the H-D 1200 in the states.

    • @justymedia3527
      @justymedia3527 Před 2 lety

      @@Hendoneesia My comment was misleading I see. I purchased my 2018 Iron in 10/2019 for $7500 before tax, tag, title, dealer fees, etc. At the time, I could not find a Scout for less than $10-11k with most sitting around the $13-15k mark. I think the prices have dropped some as they've aged.
