A great source to familiarize yourself with the French associations would be to grab any Tarot de Marseille deck! The titles are always in French but will have an English guidebook usually, if you purchase a mass market edition!
It will take you years just to get through Tarot of the Holy Light. I find that I spend time looking up concepts she mentions quickly. These Hermetic principles are rabbit holes that crack your head open. Her grasp and study is INCREDIBLE.

For the Elemental Tarot, there's actually a system to the Courts: The elemental associations for the courts are: page = earth, knight = fire, queen = water, king = air (So the knight of swords would be the fiery energy of the sword court cards) And you do see that depicted in the cards (even though it's not suuuper clear), so for example for the king of cups you have the watery background from the cup suit but then also bubbles, signifying the airy energy, and for the queen of cups you just have straight up water, and so on. I hope that helps anyone who's confused about the court cards - because I was, too! The king/queen crowns are suuuper ambiguous 😅😅😅

Also inspired by the Thoth deck, but whereas the Thoth and Hermetic decks are "pippish", Liber T deck has minor arcana with figures and scenes based on various images associated with the decans, such as the descriptions found in the Picatrix

You'll see the difference in the majors and their associations. I love expanding my knowledge by learning different systems of tarot and the layers it adds to my readings. Enjoy this deck...it is truly an esoteric and alchemical masterpiece.
Lol I totally relate to the filming problems. That lux deck, ahh I’m such a sucker for it - I want to feel it, and I LOVE the key on that velvet bag! For the cat tarot, I am a HUGE cat lover but I haven’t liked any of the cat tarot/oracles out there. This one is the one I like the most from what I’ve seen!
Yeah, I dont usually like cat tarot's either but this one is actually legit, Ive been loving it. As for filming problems, my memory card was full for about 30 minutes while I was talking to fucking no one before I realized it.. Just packed it all up and refilmed the next day. It was already midnight and I was out of patience lol
Okay so lol. That first deck in French looks stunning! Second, the Tarot of the Divine deck has been my go-to for awhile. I love the cardstock lol and the big book that you can buy separate is amazing! I actually read stories out of it with my kids and they love it too! Lastly, I almost cried when you said you could write all over the Heavenly Bodies deck 🤣🤣🤣 I can't even edge in a cheap oracle deck without almost instantly regretting my decision to do so LOL! Haul videos are my absolute favorite so thank you for this!
Ahh yes, the Tarot of the Holy Light! I've been studying this deck with Julianne Victoria for the past 1yr and few months. We've gone through the ENTIRE major AND minor arcana and finishing up the last of the court cards next month. The Mary El deck is gorgeous and kinda dark and pretty esoteric but in a more subtle way. It definitely helped me to understand tarot on a deeper level. I’ve heard a lot of people that it’s like a deep deck or a shadow work deck but I use it for mundane and deeper subjects and get clear messages every time. It has no limits that I’ve experienced. Might take a little study with the book and some Marseille understanding but beyond that it’s not as intimidating as people make it out to be. Overall it’s my favorite deck ever and it’s never leaving my life. I love it so much. There’s also the Night Sun tarot which has the astrological associations printed on the cards.

I have the Kali Oracle since February, use it respectfully, been having good advice from theses cards. Funny thing is, been an Witch working with Celtic Deities and energies since ''1996'' So when I saw this dark back last year for decks coming out I got really excited about. Loving the new card stock Blue Angel is putting out!!! Am waiting for them to put out Lord Ganesha Oracle Deck with this new card stock. Nice deck hall by the way!!!

I usually either burn sandalwood or an "earth" blend thats made from patchouli, sandalwood and cedar. I think most people think to use 3rd eye type of scents for readings, but I like to use grounding earthly scents. Theres enough 3rd eye vibes in the room, I gotta balance it out lol
A good piece of advice regarding the guide books is clear contact them and if you can clear contact the main boxes as well so they don't get wrecked so easily

Another really great Tarot with wonderful astrological associations would be the Naked Heart Tarot. It has the astrological symbols, elemental associations and such on the deck but definitely more simplified than the Hermetic Tarot. It also has moon cycle associations and the backs of the cards are crystal grids and the guidebook is quite a chunky one!
I'd love if you did an astrology deck video! I've been looking for a good tarot deck that has the astrological associations on the cards. So far I've found the Lucid Dreams tarot (pre-order), Next World Tarot, AstroTarot (German deck out of print but still available used) and Golden Eclipse tarot (also pre-order). Haven't bought any yet cause I want to see more options before buying, especially since many are quite expensive. However, I did find a really cute little astrology oracle deck called the Star Cream Astrology cards! The Celestial Fortune deck also looks like an amazing study tool but again, out of my price range. Excited to see what you've found and what your thoughts are!
Also Tarot of the Holy Light has a 2nd even deeper book that goes with it called "Foundations of the Esoteric Traditions" which is equally amazing. And the author Christine Payne Towler did another book called "The Underground Stream" thats a little more entry level into esoteric tarot and continental tarot systems. Her work is FUCKING AMAZING!! I would grab an Etteilla deck also. Theres a good one on Drive Thru Cards "The Etteilla Art Restoration Deck" by C in London, thats a restoration of the Original Etteilla from the museum. 👌
you GOTTA get into the Thoth deck, it is so rich and full of knowledge that you would just fall down the rabbit hole reading about. i would also reccomend getting the book called the tarot handbook by angeles arrien. It helped me learn the cards
Alana Fairchild's decks are the best for a deep dive. I have a lot of her decks .. I don't have any connection with Kali b ut I appreciate everything put there. Alana puts a lot of research and work into creating her decks .. they are always something I recommend or I gift for anyone interested in a deeper spiritual journey.
I love the Tarot of the Holy Light, but one caveat to consider is that the author uses a different system of association between the cards and decans-- she uses Aces thru 9, whereas in other systems like the Thoth deck the decans are associated with 2 thru 10
The book you really need for Hermetic Tarot is the "Book T". It is the source. It has no sense to read the Wang's one and other stuff if you don't understand to what they reffers.

If you are still looking for a brilliant in depth Tarot my one biggest recommendation is The Spirit Keeper Tarot by Benebell Wen which is currently going into its third printing . She has also written an amazing in depth book called Holistic Tarot. Good luck with your study 😊
Also I would like to recommend The Black Moon Astrology cards. They are phenomenal. That deck has been the most accurate asshole I have ever experienced in an oracle deck. It has the signs, the planets, the nodes, the houses, and a few other important astrological placements. It goes over what they are and mean and what it means when you receive the card in a reading. Also in the book it tells you what tarot card is associated with it. I recommend wholeheartedly. It’s not expensive and the deck is beautiful, the box is nice, the book is really nice, the cards are thick Oracle cards so they’re larger than tarot but we all know how Oracle cards are. It’s phenomenal though. I like pulling out specific placements, like this past lunar eclipse in sag, I pulled the lunar eclipse card and sag card, and focused my intention of the reading on those cards for my reading. Hands down amazing.
I'm unsure if what I would recommend is something you would want, but it's something I'm planning on getting and it's the Oracle cards by Xia Hunt. She recently put a pre-order for her oracle cards with a massive grimoire book that goes with it. It's expensive that pre-order, but I think it would be worth it ... hopefully for you as well😊
oh my god... you know what? Yes, and Ive never owned a Marseille before so I didnt think to mention it, because its foreign. She says its a "Minimalist Marseille." I forgot she mentioned it in her email to me and now I feel like an idiot for just calling it "pipish" a hundred times.... lol
Ahh my fingers had a mind of their own there! Like yourself I am also looking to deepen my knowledge of the tarot. I've always been attracted to the Thoth deck and can somehow read it intuitively very well, however, having decided I want to learn more, there are two decks I recommend: Tabula Mundi and alchemical tarot. So far I've only purchased the alchemical tarot and it is full of symbology. In addition both these decks have lots of resources and study dedicated to them as well as devoted individuals and groups. I believe there is even a podcast by the creator of the Tabula Mundi, though I still need to look more into that myself. Anyway, have fun on your journey and thanks for the quality fun content.

Watched a youtube interviewing him about Neoplatonism - sounds yawn I know but trust me! It explains EVERYTHING in 18 mins. I just received his Alchemical Tarot and Tarot of the Sevenfold Mystery plus his new book which is a tome. So that's my rabbit hole of the moment. However, similarly to you the Thoth is calling..
If your looking for another tarot to add to the collection the tyldwick tarot has had a reprint but only of about 2000. I ordered mine straight away when I found out. It’s kinda pricey but artwork is gorgeous.

Im over here stumped. I dont think ive ever shown my rider box in a video. Which was a gift from a friend - she purchased it from etsy. I did show the silver box in another video, which i got at a sleeping tiger shop when it closed down. I’ve seen the wild unknown and never felt drawn to it, it just seems like the mega trendy deck with no real esoteric symbolism built into it, just kind of cool abstract-esk art that looks cool on Instagram… and I know that’s a bit harsh but that’s how it feels to me. I feel kinda stupid recommending it because for sure you know about it, but if you're looking for deeper decks, you really should give the Thoth Tarot a try. Since I got my Thoth, I touch those card literally every single days! Once you go Thoth, you never go back! 😜
The thought of writing on a deck makes me cringe I couldn't do it but I would write further info into a notebook though just not on the cards themselves

Another really great Tarot with wonderful astrological associations would be the Naked Heart Tarot. It has the astrological symbols, elemental associations and such on the deck but definitely more simplified than the Hermetic Tarot. It also has moon cycle associations and the backs of the cards are crystal grids and the guidebook is quite a chunky one!

I'd love if you did an astrology deck video! I've been looking for a good tarot deck that has the astrological associations on the cards. So far I've found the Lucid Dreams tarot (pre-order), Next World Tarot, AstroTarot (German deck out of print but still available used) and Golden Eclipse tarot (also pre-order). Haven't bought any yet cause I want to see more options before buying, especially since many are quite expensive.
However, I did find a really cute little astrology oracle deck called the Star Cream Astrology cards! The Celestial Fortune deck also looks like an amazing study tool but again, out of my price range. Excited to see what you've found and what your thoughts are!

Also Tarot of the Holy Light has a 2nd even deeper book that goes with it called "Foundations of the Esoteric Traditions" which is equally amazing. And the author Christine Payne Towler did another book called "The Underground Stream" thats a little more entry level into esoteric tarot and continental tarot systems. Her work is FUCKING AMAZING!! I would grab an Etteilla deck also. Theres a good one on Drive Thru Cards "The Etteilla Art Restoration Deck" by C in London, thats a restoration of the Original Etteilla from the museum. 👌

you GOTTA get into the Thoth deck, it is so rich and full of knowledge that you would just fall down the rabbit hole reading about. i would also reccomend getting the book called the tarot handbook by angeles arrien. It helped me learn the cards

Alana Fairchild's decks are the best for a deep dive. I have a lot of her decks .. I don't have any connection with Kali b ut I appreciate everything put there. Alana puts a lot of research and work into creating her decks .. they are always something I recommend or I gift for anyone interested in a deeper spiritual journey.
I love the Tarot of the Holy Light, but one caveat to consider is that the author uses a different system of association between the cards and decans-- she uses Aces thru 9, whereas in other systems like the Thoth deck the decans are associated with 2 thru 10
The book you really need for Hermetic Tarot is the "Book T". It is the source. It has no sense to read the Wang's one and other stuff if you don't understand to what they reffers.

oof... $58, if she/he (not sure) sent it to me, Id review it but I cant see myself handing over that kind of cash for a deck Im not immediately in love with. That being said, if its calling to you I say get it.
If you are still looking for a brilliant in depth Tarot my one biggest recommendation is The Spirit Keeper Tarot by Benebell Wen which is currently going into its third printing . She has also written an amazing in depth book called Holistic Tarot.

Also I would like to recommend The Black Moon Astrology cards. They are phenomenal. That deck has been the most accurate asshole I have ever experienced in an oracle deck. It has the signs, the planets, the nodes, the houses, and a few other important astrological placements. It goes over what they are and mean and what it means when you receive the card in a reading. Also in the book it tells you what tarot card is associated with it. I recommend wholeheartedly. It’s not expensive and the deck is beautiful, the box is nice, the book is really nice, the cards are thick Oracle cards so they’re larger than tarot but we all know how Oracle cards are. It’s phenomenal though. I like pulling out specific placements, like this past lunar eclipse in sag, I pulled the lunar eclipse card and sag card, and focused my intention of the reading on those cards for my reading. Hands down amazing.

I'm unsure if what I would recommend is something you would want, but it's something I'm planning on getting and it's the Oracle cards by Xia Hunt. She recently put a pre-order for her oracle cards with a massive grimoire book that goes with it. It's expensive that pre-order, but I think it would be worth it ... hopefully for you as well😊

oh my god... you know what? Yes, and Ive never owned a Marseille before so I didnt think to mention it, because its foreign. She says its a "Minimalist Marseille." I forgot she mentioned it in her email to me and now I feel like an idiot for just calling it "pipish" a hundred times.... lol

Ahh my fingers had a mind of their own there! Like yourself I am also looking to deepen my knowledge of the tarot. I've always been attracted to the Thoth deck and can somehow read it intuitively very well, however, having decided I want to learn more, there are two decks I recommend: Tabula Mundi and alchemical tarot. So far I've only purchased the alchemical tarot and it is full of symbology. In addition both these decks have lots of resources and study dedicated to them as well as devoted individuals and groups. I believe there is even a podcast by the creator of the Tabula Mundi, though I still need to look more into that myself. Anyway, have fun on your journey and thanks for the quality fun content.

Thanks for another awesome video! I love Tarot of the Holy Light - there is a second book on Amazon : ) I am really getting into Robert Place's work. Watched a youtube interviewing him about Neoplatonism - sounds yawn I know but trust me! It explains EVERYTHING in 18 mins. I just received his Alchemical Tarot and Tarot of the Sevenfold Mystery plus his new book which is a tome. So that's my rabbit hole of the moment. However, similarly to you the Thoth is calling..

If your looking for another tarot to add to the collection the tyldwick tarot has had a reprint but only of about 2000. I ordered mine straight away when I found out. It’s kinda pricey but artwork is gorgeous.

Im over here stumped. I dont think ive ever shown my rider box in a video. Which was a gift from a friend - she purchased it from etsy. I did show the silver box in another video, which i got at a sleeping tiger shop when it closed down. If you're looking for boxes for your decks, I would recommend you get on etsy and search "Tarot box" and say goodbye to your money, because there some straight fire on there.

I’ve seen the wild unknown and never felt drawn to it, it just seems like the mega trendy deck with no real esoteric symbolism built into it, just kind of cool abstract-esk art that looks cool on Instagram… and I know that’s a bit harsh but that’s how it feels to me. Im unfamiliar with the star idea one you mentioned, I’d have to look into it

I feel kinda stupid recommending it because for sure you know about it, but if you're looking for deeper decks, you really should give the Thoth Tarot a try. Since I got my Thoth, I touch those card literally every single days! Once you go Thoth, you never go back! 😜
