Find Inner Peace through Acceptance and Surrender While You Sleep | Mindful Movement

- Getting upset about pain doesn’t take it away. Thinking about and replaying the past doesn’t give you the ability to change what has already occurred. Worrying, wishing and hoping things were different doesn’t make anything actually change. Let go of the events of the day and surrender into a deep, tranquil sleep. Give yourself permission to simply let go into your own inner peace and self-healing through acceptance and surrender.

What do you want to let go of? What has become too heavy a weight to bear on your journey? Like the falling leaves, it’s time to clear out and free yourself of things you’ve been afraid to let go of. Without the falling of the leaves, there can be no new growth.
We can learn from our faults and grow from our experiences if we allow them. Know that without suffering, we cannot know joy. Without darkness, we cannot know light. Allowing life as it is can lessen any struggle and perhaps, additional, unnecessary suffering.
Frequently, the word “surrender” has negative energy to it. You may think of having to give up something that is important to you or lose control over a situation. Surrender does not mean giving up. When the word surrender is used as a mindfulness practice, it can also be the opportunity to give up anything that is no longer serving you or something that is keeping you stuck.

July 6th marks my first cancerversary. I found Sara Raymond videos a few days later . These videos have helped escape the darkness and despair I was feeling. I listen to Sara everyday. I start each morning with Gratitude Affirmations. In the evening I listen to meditation practices that help me sleep. I am forever grateful for all the work that Sara and Les do to help us all.

Ive lost both my mum and dad in under 3 months. My partner has been been diagnosed with cancer, and im currently awaiting possible surgery for a back injury....this year has been incredibly difficult and heartbreaking. Listening to these actually helps with getting some sleep and getting mind into a place of peace and relaxation. I'm happy I came across this channel....thank you 🙏

As a 50 plus person, Guided meditation has been an incredible revelation to me. Why don't medical practitioners embrace this holistic approach and encourage patients with sleep anxiety to try it. I've been listening to Sara's voice guide me many a morning to start my day and many an evening to prepare for sleep. I have tried listening to others but they mostly sound like fingernails on chalkboard to me. Also, it's not just her voice, it is the content within the meditations that make them so powerful. Absolutely wonderful! Feeling tired and low on energy today, I made time to rest with this. I drifted in and out of sleep, for an hour, with pulses of light before my closed eyes. Somehow, I was guided to this calming beautiful meditation this morning. My Aunt passed away the previous day and I was feeling tremendous guilt for not getting to visit her. I have major depression and generalized anxiety disorder with past trauma but it's my fear of the future and aging alone that bothers me. I suppressed my fears for so long and after I had a full hysterectomy 9 years ago it triggered everything and I spiralled and seem to get ahead of it and accept it. Other people that know that have mild to moderate depression can work and enjoy their lives and don't worry about the future and I hate this illness.
The fear of the future and aging alone are my biggest fears as well! Im not handling it well at all. You're not alone. Want to be my roommate? ☺️
@@pixieheart9303 I know so many women who it doesn't bother them at all and they work and set goals and enjoy life and I wish that I was one of them. I pray often and I just don't know what to look forward to. I am married but feel like i am wasting my life and his.
@@georginarandolphgirl66 I'm sorry you feel that way. I keep thinking of I had a partner I wouldn't feel this way. I just started working 8 to 10 hours a week. Those hours are about the only times I'm not losing it. As soon as I pull into my driveway , I'm already half hysterical coming into an empty house. I have things I could do to keep me busy, I don't watch TV, but I get no joy from anything. Everything I used to enjoy is a chore. I had a traumatic event in my life 4 months ago that triggered all of this. I'm estranged from my daughter and grandchildren because of it and although she said she is hopeful to have a relationship again, not knowing when and being totally alone has been unbearable.
@@pixieheart9303 I am so sorry that you are going through this. I am in therapy for past trauma in childhood and reading the book the body keeps the score. I too have no joy for anything. I take medication but I feel like I just exist and even though I am married I feel guilty that he has to see me go through this but he understands. It's a horrible way to live but my doctor might increase my meds. I am suppose to see him tomorrow. I haven' even showered in a week. I worked since I was 12 making my own money and now don't want to work anymore. I have a physical job but don't know that I have the physical strength to do it. I have been off work since last July and I stress about money. What triggered mine was a full hysterectomy 9 years ago and then losing 4 family members and my dogs.
@@georginarandolphgirl66 Losing 4 family members and pets would make anyone depressed!. All I know is I don't want to feel this way any longer and I will not stop searching for answers. I'm taking various vitamins and supplements to help create a healthier body which has direct affect on our minds. I took a silver sneakers aerobics and strength training class yesterday and then worked for 4 hours. I had absolutely no depression nor anxiety all day. It was the best day I've had in months. I accomplished something and got exercise, another must do to beat anxiety and depression. Now today, I worked, but no exercise class. I had to work at keeping the anxiety at bay, at my job and on the way home I cried because I was back to feeling like crap after having total relief only the day before. I'm already dreading tomorrow. Im going to force myself to go to the exercise class again.
Its so hard yet by taking a small step, like a shower, will help. A little at a time. Try.

Usually I fall asleep and don’t wake up. Tonight I woke up after 20 mins. But I was also wearing headphones. Unfortunately, now I’m awake. After the repetition of the affirmations and then nothing I thought something was wrong. But it’s just silence. I guess that’s where most would be asleep, but here I am writing a comment. I realise the video paused when my headphones disconnected and that there is actually still music. Lol. But, I’m still awake. 🙃
