Water/poison/skillseal gold rathian works, since she has poison boost large and speed large synergises well and boosts water damage, all elemental damage boost large, mud throw, poison spit etc. Also, it's usually not worth getting an elemental damage stat above 10, so at that point, if you have the bingos you need, you can use stuff like crit boosts, quick genes, dancer, etc.

If you want to get a guaranteed egg of silver los you can go to the special quest that ask u to beat its ass (with the cool name called the lunar shadow if i still remember) and the egg is guaranteed to be silver los (gene wise you can just jam it with channeling like how this video teaches u :) )

Yes you can. It's kinda just luck based. You can either get low rank and or high ranked. It's kind of annoying the way that its rng based because when you upgrade Molten Tigrex armor it requires High rank regular and Brute tigrex parts which are very annoying to farm. The only way to really efficiently farm high or low rank is put on a finding charm(rare den increase) and if you need low rank parts then stay away from high rank rare dens and vice versa

Meteor 17 yes. Red increases fire damage, yellow increases thunder, blue increases water, light blue increases ice, purple increases dragon, and silver/white/grey increases speed.
Salt in the wounds is also a gene skill on Deviljho and Dancer is a gene skill on jade Barroth and Deviljho too, surprisingly But you can get more info on Kiranico website

Are you using mobile? Get the japan version though you will lose all your monsties and progress, what i suggest is get all the things you want to do while high level and then go to the japan version and do it all over again

What would be your recommendations for each herbivore? (Apceros, Aptonoth, Popo) yeah they're bad but what would be the best builds for them for restrictive rule sets (Herbivores only, low rarities, etc)

Do genes effect level up stats. By this I mean if you get a level one then fill the gene slots and then level him to 50 will he have more stats then a monster who was leveled to 50 with 2 genes then had 7 genes put in.
It is the gene?? If gene it will increase the chance of blastblight, it is an additional effect like burn or poison, the effect is, it will explode after several turn dealing 200 damage (i heard it is 3 turn but don't know). The monstie who specialize in blastblight is brachydios and molten tigrex
Uragaan is the best user of blastblight afaik (despite its derp rarity and stats) cause it can immediately detonates it. late game the blastblight power will diminish as most monsties damage will reach above 300 in pvp and 1k in pve (lvl 70+ wise that is) so 200 damage in 3 turns is just a meh except uragaan special skill that detonates it in an instant
