Brilliant news about your plans, let’s hope it all works out as planned. You deserve it.
Thanks!
Super! Well done Jordan. Great to see someone getting on so well. Also I can't wait to watch on your video Cory and Oscar meet Nick and his son. Thumb up Cheer!
You're a very savvy businessman Jordan with a great team supporting you. I wish you all the best in the growth of your company! I'm a virtually retired electrician living in Portugal now but still keep up with all the reg's and get great enjoyment following CZcamsrs such as yourself.
Thanks a lot! I lived in Coimbra for a while! Lovely part of the world.
Love your attitude to business and customer service and your honesty.
Another great video, as someone just starting out on their own after working for a company gives me the confidence that it can be done, now it’s my time to build my dreams not someone else’s 👍
Thanks so much and all the best with your new journey! Email me and I will give you a special discount code for the business course
Great to see your "ugly mug" back on the screens, mate! Always enjoy your videos!
I am getting through your business course a bit at a time and I am genuinely finding it extremely beneficial!!
Haha thanks so much i'm really glad you're enjoying the course!
Love the video Jordan! Love the content with Corey and Oscar too. I’m recently qualified. Interesting seeing a new apprentice. Bringing back memories
Thanks a lot!
Nice to have seen a success story from the start and still getting better, good luck with everything all of you in the team.
Thanks!
Jordan love you attitude to work and love your staff, well done for what you have achieved so far keep up the good content of your channel
Thanks a lot
The 360 of Britan or should I say the Artisan of America, whichever way you put it we both have a passion to help Electricians be great and if being a contractor business is the result than even better. Thanks for all the great videos.
Well done Jordan,
If you have grown in 2020/21 with all we've had to put up with then the future looks very good.
Keeping the people that earn the money for you is the trick though.
Hope all your plans go well mate 👌🏼 good luck with everything
Thanks a lot
Hi Jordan, What's the model of your EV van your getting?
You will have to wait and see!
Well done mate, you're getting everything you deserve! 😎👍
Thanks very much!
Great work jordan. I aways say to be a electrician is the best trade there is; because you always have work and the demand is high keep it up👍👍
Thats so true thanks Janes
The best electrician, with the best channel
Work will always come to top tradies
Good luck mate
Watching from Australia
At first i was quite shocked to hear how much you charge per hour, but after watching alot of your videos, i think you can justify your pricing. You are a top guy buddy. Keep up the good work.
Good always does come to those that do good for others.
Cambridgeshire is quite an affluent area and Jordan is providing to the top end of the market
How much does he charge an hour? Thank you
m.czcams.com/video/W29xSyDxpc4/video.html
Yes for him to charge £80 +vat an hour is necessary to make a profit with that many admin/back office staff. The question is, from a customer perspective do I want to pay £96 an hour to company with seven staff and subcontractors or do I want to pay £30 an hour, without VAT to a similarly qualified electrician to do the same scope of works.Hmmmm let me think. Jords I think in the domestic sector you will price yourself out of the market . Your best bet is commercial with the way you have grown your business. Take for example your regular board swap say 5 hours for a nice easy one with testing and certification. He wants nearly 500 labour plus say £250 for the rcbo/spd/board so £750 inc vat. Most solo sparks want 400-500 for that and still make £300 for a short day if they bung in a split load hagar board
@@Marco-mg9tv but every successful business needs to make profit. If someone is charging £30 an hour for a trade they aren't making profit! Jordan is doing something rite otherwise he wouldn't be in a successful business 👍🏻
Well done ! It’s a difficult step in expanding an electrical business without having contracts !
I do believe there are many opportunities in the electrical field when you have the experience .
However I am concerned about these 5 minute courses claiming you can earn 3k a week once you’ve completed .
Guys it’s hard bloody work and your always learning no easy routes !
Thanks for the fab content it’s great to see how far you’ve come !
Thanks you are absolutely right it takes a lot of hard graft!
I always look forward to your informative videos
Thanks!
Tradify is worth every penny - so useful, time saving and keeps everything in one place
Totally!
Great work Jordan. It’s hard work growing, but with investments like Cory and Oscar too, it will pay off. Will you have Cory help you run things? Best use for him IMO. His eyes for detail and people skills.
Thanks Jane, for the moment Cory is most useful on the tools but you never know what the future might hold for him
I'll never be a customer as I'm in Australia, but supporting in a small way by YT Premium. I wish you and the great team all in best Jordan In your business growth. I'm loving the Cory / Oscar videos. Cheers
Thanks a lot!
Can I ask more about what it was like taking over your late father's business before? I might find my self in the same situation soon. I was just wondering if Artisan is what that company evolved into or was it a totally fresh project? If so, how come you didn't just continue to run you father's business? I hope I'm not prying too much.
Good luck with growth spurt !!
Thanks Ted
nice one Jordan, people don't understand the amount of paperwork we have run-in a business
Thanks Nick 👍
Hello Jordan, great video. You strike me as a Miracle Morning person?? Am I right??
Another great video Jordan
Thank you!
thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
What extractor fans do you recommend?
Envirovent Silent 100T
@@artisanelectrics I still don’t get why they’re allowed to call these fans “silent” 🤔🤦🏻♂️
@@AdamCookeTV Tbf they are a lot quieter than other fans
Hi Jordan how did your apprentice Oscar get his nickname Pavlow ?
Cory made it up because his family are from South America
Well done buddy God bless
Thanks
Well your clearly thinking along the right lines and welcome to the world of finding out you can have loads of work but hardly making a profit.
The worst thing for a an engineering business is to be caught in the middle in terms of size. Sometimes better to make a big leap to a larger size and probably not by doing more of the same. For example what about industrial work or specialist work in hazardous sectors. You don’t have to be expert yourself in new adventures only capable of recognising how to make money. There will surely come the time and it look’s like being soon when you will give up the tools. You know your business best . good luck.
Thanks Michael
Personally think you are a great Entrepreneur Jordan keep up the good work .👍👍
Thanks Niall
Do you reckon you can be too much of a perfectionist that your productivity suffers ? Like doing a good job is a good principle but can you overdue it and take too long to complete tasks that your productivity suffers ?
No mate NO NO NO...a job should be done properly....or not at all!! Thats the motto if you were born in the 80's!!!
I agree you have to maintain your high standards or the business will suffer in the long term.
Well done.
Thanks
Are you aware of the rule of thumb for what you should earn for an employee? It's between 2.5 and 4x depending on the skill. If you regard an electrician as highly skilled then it will be x2.5. It's a pretty general rule but a good rule to work to.
Thanks that’s a great rule
Jordan, you can do a lot by integrating your various software/services together and setting up automation for various business processes,
if you ever need help in this area, feel free to give me a shout, would go some way to repay the value I have got from your content!
Thanks Tom!
Well done Jordan. Great to see someone getting on so well.
Thanks a lot!
Great work Jordan, it is difficult to decide the road forward, do you remain on the tools or do a more managerial role - I remember on a Patreon chat asking you where you see yourself next year, more on the tools or more of managerial role. I know you'll miss being on the tools if you become a manager - personally when I moved off the tools I immediately missed it but that's the way it goes but it helps if we can keep up to speed with things. Just remember when it scales up to keep up the high standards and I'm sure it will be fine. Try to keep your staff interested too with routes to promotion, well done, next year we'll be Millionaires 👍
Thanks a lot!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks
As the saying goes 'Use it, or lose it'.
Does U tube really pay that much !!! 😯
Yeah it takes a lot of hard work but it pays off in the end
@@artisanelectrics Money from sponsors I guess makes up a good portion.
Someone has been on holiday and caught the sun?
I wish!
your doing really well! 😊
you need a business unit with warehouse (and internal vehicle parking?) and office space!
next thing you know you'll be adding a plumbing company to the empire, hmm "artisan plumbing" naa maybe not!
Thanks Geoff! I actually do own the brand Artisan Plumbing just in case 😂👍
Bit of a rib at Nick Bundy there. Just don't send him one of your mugs.
Smashing video by nick 😂😂😂

I have been watching most of your video ,wish you good luck with your business.
Qualified ,NICEIC Registered, not working at the moment,if you could help with some advice how to find clients in London as since I left my job as electrician employee since that time can’t find any work , having my tools van web and experience .
Hi mate I think this video will be helpful to you czcams.com/video/GbzHrTt-Wwg/video.html
And this one czcams.com/video/LR8gR2VvxMk/video.html
Thanks for your reply and help
I tried rated people and my builder and my jobqoate and all of them just waisted my time and money on them ,the type of customer who I dealt with looking for cheap example where I went to give a qoate for small job with 2 or 3 different electrician then don’t get the job.or client who never pick up the phone after you paying for leads, I believe this is London.many thanks
@@rawadmelhem7264 Yeah it can be a bit of trial and error to find what works, the most important thing is to build up a good online reputation and get lots of Google reviews then people will seek you out for your excellent service
Well sounds like your as much a business man as you are an electrician, well done with your hard work.
Thanks Shaun
Will Oscar set up his own channel like Nick Bundys apprentice Jordan
Maybe once he becomes a great sparky! For the moment he is focusing on learning as much as he can and become a great Artisan Electrician
@@artisanelectrics i have no doubt he will become a good sparks as well
Hope you have enough cash in the bank.
Yeah that’s essential when growing a business fast like we are
These are getting so tedious
