I'm a little upset that the event wasn't really story related much but seeing Lego and Eminem was INSANELY COOL

Bruh idk why y'all keep crying about the story or lore, Fortnite "story" has been a complete mess since chapter 2, only thing close to lore was the seven and that it's, after that it was just random stuff happening.
For a first live event I enjoyed it honestly and the little cinematica of your skin bumping into and interacting with your friends was my favorite part ❤️
not even comparable to fracture, lore was a let-down considering how cool and eerie the glitches were at the start, but overall THIS is what a metaverse should be, this is what "fortnite being every game" is about, lego open world, racing, a rhythm game. very cool event, was funny to see my Rick Sanchez get excited at Eminem
thats what ive been saying, the glitches made it seem like the event was going to go wrong in some way only for no voicelines and it played out the exact same way 😭

@@jgstudios117 so why did it takes us a year to have a live event? What’s taking Epic forever to makes us save The Seven? Chapter 4 was marketed as such and look at how much lore was in that season, only explained off screen in quests. Let’s face it Epic cares more about crossovers than story
this event was a huge letdown for me but im glad they are doing a reboot on all of it and starting fresh in chapter 5
The event itself was sick. People are only calling it mid because of how short it was
No one has a problem with how short it was. People are upset because this was an event that marked the end of a chapter, but contributed little to NOTHING to the storyline.
Additionally, you had literally no control over your character for almost the entire event. Not to mention that 2/3rds of the chapter-ending-event was just advertisements for collaborations 😐.

@@iPlexium Yeah, since I initially wrote that comment, I have seen some people complaining about the length. But a large majority of the complaints are still about the contents of the event. But I suppose some people argue that it was too short, which is a lil weird considering all the other problems lol.

Huge huge letdown just a big advertisement for the new game modes. No new information about the season. No new information about weapons or the loophole. Nothing just a huge advertisement for the Collabs. I will say from a person that has seen the previous rocket in season X the beginning got me really really excited overall really mid event
Exactly. This event really opened my eyes on how uncreative and degraded the Fortnite community has become.
How are people genuinely arguing on behalf of an event that was taken from chapter 1 and remixed to have 2 shitty advertisements in it? It’s honestly sad.
@@tapess 11 days later but honestly it was a genius move to promote the new modes here, they are so succesful. Besides that, this event was such a major letdown after a year long wait, it was like a bait and switch by having the cool glitching at the start just to go into ad mode for the rest of the event
My first event, pretty exciting experience. The game crashing is Epic. This season is going to be interesting.

i was incredibly disappointed, i had logged in 2 hours in advance only for my game to give me error message after error message while trying to join the event, after 10 minutes of errors i got booted out and put in a 2hr queue
I got logged out of epic games and it wont let me back in 😭
Haven’t scrolled through the comments yet but for “resetting the storyline” it all felt more of the same. They could’ve done a lot more with the cube, floating island, zero point, Time Machine, all being there, but they kinda didn’t. Otherwise was still cool and hope the storyline can become good again

BIG BANG > Fractured at least we didn't spend 40+ minutes doing puzzles, we actually got to see what was being added into the game after OG season

Yeah. That's probably the reason why they made it so short, thanks to the cough* cough* Fracture Event.
Edit: The event has a similar length to most of the other events, though it felt shorter to most people, including myself. Either way, I'm glad that Epic realizes how unnecessarily lengthy the Fracture Event was.

you can still queue in at 5 and 11 on ET
The queue ended but then gave me a new queue of an hour 15 minutes

This event kinda shows where Fortnite is going…and I hate it. Fortnite is trying to be much more than it actually is and be a “metaverse” and from what I’ve seen from Facebook’s metaverse, it’s bound to fail

The event was decent at best i guess. Barely story driven. Felt kinda like they were just throwing unnecesary fun stuff at us for 15 minutes and then it just randomly ended

I loved the event! I think it’s completely fine it played out kinda like a trailer. The casuals don’t know what the rest of us know about the new modes and that stuff is a BIG deal. Chapter 1 events also weren’t too story heavy and I’m sure now that the story has been “rebooted” or whatever it’ll pick back up in time. So excited for next chapter and for all of the new modes and other content being added.
