@@seanthenerd08 Technically yes. But I hate that whenever anyone talks about Scott saving the universe, people treat it like a technicality by talking about the rat. You're telling me the rat made the conscious choice of pushing the button and releasing Scott? Of course not. But Scott consciously made the connection between being stuck in the quantum realm for 5 years and experiencing it as 5 hours and possible time travel. He didn't just say that he experienced 5 years as 5 hours for someone else to find the connection. He made the connection himself!

And the point was that this is badly written time travel. If you can change the past without changing the future that’s not time travel.
@@CdrChaos No, another alternate reality has been created. That Thanos won't be able to snap anymore, which means there now exists a reality where the blip didn't happen. So in that reality, Nat and Tony are still alive. They don't discover time travel due to Scott being stuck in the quantum realm for 5 years but experiencing it only as 5 hours. Also in that reality, there's no Gamora and Quill love story. That reality's biggest problem might actually be Ego getting hold of Quill's powers. The Avengers might have to figure out a way to deal with that instead of Thanos, as that problem has now miraculously vanished from them.

@@CdrChaos I'm not calling that time travel. Time travel is what they did to retrieve the stones and Pym particles. Also, there has to be a Dr. Strange or some other equivalent in that newly created reality. That sorcerer or sorceress supreme will know the source of weird things happening on Earth is Ego's planet. Who do you think the mystical warriors will team up in that reality? Killing of 2014 Thanos did change the future, just not that of their own reality.
