Dear Landfall I have always wanted to play a game where you can watch the AI fight it out unlike most games. I signed in July and I have waited, you have made me so excited and you are one of the most creative game-company. Since I was little I always wanted a game like this, I thank you so much.
I love how the trailer includes serious shots of logical battles, and how a funny moment was also added in. It shows the side of the game that makes it enjoyable and adds to the experience.
Hey Landfall, I really enjoy this game with the new units from the new factions, like the pirates and the new secret units! I hope that unit creator will be out soon! Good job guys, and stay on making new and great games!
Could you add a Pirate unit? It could be a unit using both a sword and a pistol at the same time (kinda like how the Vikings use both a shield and a hatchet at once). Could be a cool idea in my opinion. I'd like to see it wear a pirate hat as well.

I don't read the comments on these videos either just to prove I didn't steal it, because most ideas in the comments are just completely dumb (attack helicopters, tanks, planes). The game is "representing" year 1500 fighting units so ideas have to stay on topic. Introducing a Pirate using a sword and a pistol seemed like an interesting unit to have in the game, so I mentioned my idea in the comments. Hope this clarifies the fact that I posted this comment.

I dont think we will update the steam version because some people might want to keep the pre-alpha build. We will send an email with a download link to everyone who signed up though

Weird tab would be the chicken man man, and chicken man, Mechanical would be the siege weapons, and cannon, and so forth, also can I request ww1 or steampunk troops? maybe a MK1 Derp? that would be the British MKV heavy tank, 2 cannons and a machine gun, considering its a tank if enemies run up to it, they die simply, also, to battle this can we have troops with silly looking ww1 guns or steampunk looking things with a trench map?
Wolfen Richtophen Well the Open Alpha is only on their website and I can guarantee that the download is safe, the steam pre-alpha was sort of a temporary thing. But if you don't want to download, go ahead. A new alpha/beta probably won't be on steam for quite some time. Anyways, I won't respond for a while cause it's late and im going to sleep.

I have found this really weird bug. After playing the game for a while or maybe after playing a certain amount of levels in the campaign, if you exit and replay the first level it doesn't finish. What I mean is when one side is dead, the units just continue walking until the y fall off, and even then it doesn't say victory or defeat. I have not pin-pointed what causes it but it definitely has something to do with the play time or campaign levels.

This game is the most spectacularly entertaining thing to ever touch my PC, and i'm an avid gamer so that's saying a lot. There's just something incredibly satisfying about this game, keep up the good work!
Does/will this have damage simulation on the level of Dwarf Fortress (the major internal organs and layers of skin/fat/muscle on the head/body/arms/legs being able to separately get damaged)?
