  • What connects the coups in Africa, the wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and the rising tension in the Balkans?
In a new episode of Frontline, Bram Vermeulen makes the connection between all these crises and sees the image of a vulnerable and lonely Europe emerging. A continent where twenty years ago everyone wanted to belong, but which is becoming more and more isolated due to power changes and wars.
2023 was the year of coups across Africa against governments favorable to Europe. As the military regimes in Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Sudan cut all ties with Europe, they opened the door wide to Russia, sending mercenaries and partnering with the juntas.
Not only do many African countries refuse to condemn Russia for the invasion of Ukraine, but many countries in South America and Asia continue to maintain warm ties with Moscow. Even closer to home, in the Balkans, Russia is stoking anti-European sentiment in Kosovo and the Serbian part of Bosnia.
The war in Israel and Gaza has further widened that divide between the West and the rest in 2023. While a majority of United Nations members are calling for a cease-fire, Western European governments like the Netherlands are clinging to the U.S. line of unconditional support for Israel.
Meanwhile, European countries are building ever higher fences against migrants from other continents, while their own industries are suffering from major labor shortages due to Europe's aging population. Frontline sees how the fences and deportations of African migrants go against the own economic interests of a lonely continent.

Countries wouldn’t need migrants if the economic system actually paid people a decent wage whichever sector they work in.

Don't forget, as part of the agreement for their, "independence" France made these countries sign an agreement that 1. Banks 50% of their forex reserves in France. 2. Give French companies first refusal on extraction of their natural resources. 3. Use a currency that locks them into an unfavorable exchange rate with France. 4. Accept French military presence on their soil. 5. Give France first refusal on their exports at below market prices. 6. Pay "reparations" for the "benefits of colonisation". Uranium from Niger lights up Paris when you can't find 200M of paved lit road in there. Them when these impoverished Africans flee to Europe, European neo nazis start condemning and persecuting them. How on earth can any European sit there and not consider this an appalling injustice. Even Georgia Meloni has fought Macron about this. Imagine that! European neo nazi fascists and black African economic migrants finding common cause! How about that for strange bedfellows??? Just goes to show how messed up the situation is!!!

The law needs to be up held. Nobody is above it. Not even illegal immigrants. The law doesnt discriminate either. Its justice an order. Dont like the laws then change it or move along. Stop crying about it even you experiance the consequences of breaking the law

Obviously this is a concept most people do not understand. There is an underlying issue with this problem and plenty of people are aware of this. The European race must preserve itself wether people like it or not.
