this is exactly why I would never recommend a box whose service you do not have any control over. Definitely not a box for a beginner.

I have the latest, the Superbox S5 Max and have nothing but problems with it. It contstantly freezes up, goes to the home screen and occasionally has a program with no sound.
I'm using a 4K firestick with Apollo TV Group and these seems to work pretty well for us. The fights and movies will freeze on occasion, but I think that happens with most...right?
Usually with them I does. But their are other options for sure with no freezing. Usually you need to pay a premium

I do appreciate your comments on the matter. It is true if the network goes down, its over. Also you need a quality speed to run superbox. I had the orignal and upgraded to the s3pro. Like someone mentioned below, I've had superbox for over 3 years so its more than paid for itself. I also subscribe to Netflix and Paramount plus as a back up.

This guy is in the VPN business. You do NOT need a VPN for any Superbox in order for it to work properly.

Used Superbox for three years now and had very little down time and almost zero issues. For a simple turn-key solution, I like it. But I also have another TV source I buy. They cost very little, if you know where to look. Just as a backup when there is something on I "need" to see, and also to have on my phone and use wherever I might be. I sold one of my Superboxes to a friend who has no tech skills because the turn-key easy setup was exactly what he needed. He loves it. No issues. There is no way he would ever figure how where to buy service on his own or how to setup an Android TV box. But he can plug in the Superbox and watch TV. His wife loves it more than he does. Zero tech skill. That's where these devices shine.

I have a Super Box for the last 3 or 4 years. I’ve got my money’s worth. I got it for $250. If it goes out so be it. I also have Shield, Apple TV, 4K fire stick , Buzz 4500 tv.

Hi, looking for your help if possible I have a Vsee V3 box. and you’re the only one that seems to talk about when it has problems. The problem I keep having is it keeps uploading a ton of data to the Internet and I have no idea what it is or why it’s doing it help to fix it would be greatly appreciated.
I always have my VPN on when I use my superbox, and with the exception of a couple issues that he mentioned in the video where they have said they were having server issues, I have never had a problem with blue TV and its still up and running on my end
Lots of people have reported outages for several weeks at a time. It's known issue

@@itsjustangelbtw usually freezes when your internet bandwidth isn't very high. I have never had my superbox freeze with a 30 gig bandwidth with my vpn on
My Tanggula X1 box was recently discontinued/expired after 2 years of service. Now it can only be used as a regular android box without the original live tv and vod service.

I purchased a couple of Octastream Q4 Elites from a vendor who sells at the L.A. County Fair, it appears that both of them have a “device prohibit” message on their screen when you start them up. Has anyone seen that?

I have the same problem with my Octastream box. I contacted the person that sold me the box at the Pomona fair grounds. He said Octastream shut down and there’s nothing he can do. Only thing can do is offer me another box for a discounted price of $200. He says its with a different service and a better box with a recorder. I paid $400 for the Octostream box. Definitely did not get my $’s worth. I don’t think I’ll be paying another $200 for something that can’t be fixed.

So today I got the s3SB pro, I used the internet provided by university which is TPLink, and first the channels worked but when I exited and reentered it didn’t work, do you think it’s internet related, or what type of internet connection is required for this device to work?

Check the person you bought it from to see if it is down. If it isn't on their end, it could be the internet blocking your device. Might need a vpn of that's the case
It's your internet service provider you need to have at least 30,Megabits speed or higher for it to run smoothly I have four super box's and have had them for close to four years and they are working just as day we purchased them with no problems and they all are working at same time and they pay for themselves
Love watching your vids. Your always on top of the new and old boxes. I've have a Superbox S3 Pro for over 2 years now. (today-4-2024) and never had a problem. Netflix stopped working today, because it said S3 will not support it anymore. I went to the site it showed to update it , but S3 was not on the list. Is there a new update for Netflix that will work on S3 Pro box? If not, thats ok. Plenty of other channels to watch. Keep the videos coming. Your 5 stars in my book.

It has gone down maybe 3 times in the past year. Twice it was for a few hours, one was for 2 days. They now have 2 Blue TV apps in case one goes down. They have always come back up and they released a new SuperBox 4 so I think they plan on staying. They pay for themselves in a month or two and even sooner with what you get on the box.

You know, I hear what you are saying but I've had the same problem with cable on a far more regular basis. I have a super box and a monster box and in 4 years' time, I've lost service twice which lasted less than a day. I have a Samsung smart TV so I have a Samsung TV Plus as a backup. I also have tubi, pluto, and Plex as extra channels to watch. So for 300 dollars each I am far ahead and very happy cutting the cable.

Try changing out your power supply. My cheap box did that and that's what fixed it.

BOUGHT HE BOX 2 YEARS AGO AND CANT WATCH A FULL GAME. A 2 HOUR MOVIE TAKES 3 AND HALF HOURS TO WATCH. sUPER FRUSTRATING. THEY WONT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK AT ALL.

Has anyone had issues with the remote control losing the ability to fast forward and rewind also a week before that the voice control stopped working. I have scoured the internet looking for help and I can't find anything or anyone and I can't call the manufacturer cuz I didn't buy it from them.
Wonder if their was an update and broke the features. You'll need to use the support they have on the home screen I believe

I think this answered my question. I was having problems with my s4 and they sent me a new one. The problem was I was having the same problem with the new superbox taking forever to uploadthe channels. So I basically use both super boxes because there was no difference. They both were uploading slow… they haven’t been able to give me a straight answer saying it’s probably the Internet. I’ve got plenty of speed over 100.. but my blue TV all the channels are just black, so that had that been what happened the blue VOD still work on both devices. But I want. The blue tv
Could be your isp is blocking. Have you tried a vpn?

I keep getting “connect to WiFi” when it’s connected to the Ethernet. The controller doesn’t even work. Is it bricked??
Have you tried to hard wire and check settings?
It started working after i turned off the router by unplugging it for about 5 minutes. I think it was my internet that wasn’t connecting for some weird reason.
Maybe it’s because I don’t use mine a ton.. but I’ve NEVER and I mean NEVER had an issue with this at all

@@rohasstreamingtech the only channel I use on play back is( bet ) for Tuesday & wensday always have a hard time for it to play back the shows . I have the 2&3 super box they both do the same thing so there goes my back up plan . I have other channels that do the same thing but that's the main one I enjoy watching the most.

I bought 2 Super Box 4 about 2 months ago. One just quit working and the other is constantly freezing up. We have the fastest internet in our area of 1 gig speed. These should run perfectly but dont.
a friend told me comcast works best i have att internet it is lousy always freezing up

Another reason to NEVER buy a preloaded box. Best to buy devices on your own and install apps and services yourself...I have multiple Nvidia shield's and use 4K Firestick when traveling out of town

Depends what it says or the laws of your land
Unplug your router. Wait 15 seconds or so and plug it back in. If you have a mesh WiFi system reboot it also. Works for me. Usually it is low internet speed. Rebooting router and or mesh system get internet speed back to normal.
Do not buy superbox guys. It always goes down when there's a big PPV fight or main event UFC. I've had mine for 8 months and at least 4 times this has happened. I contacted costumer support and they just tell me they are aware of situation and trying to resolve it. They don't resolve anything. Once the fight or main event is over, miraculously it comes back on. Waste of junk 🗑
Not surprised. Have you done a speed test on the actual device when it doesn't have issues versus when it does?
I have the same experience. Can’t watch PPV or any main event.

Hook you’re SuperBox to the hotspot on your cellphone device when you are watching movies. It works for me every time not one buffer when the movie is playing. 👍🏽

Well i had superbox for 4 plus years. There is a server issues are super common. It usually crashes about once a year and is down for about a week. Lots of of other server issues all the time.
My S1 was totally bricked and no longer boots up at all.
