It started with a tweet... about a little boy who wanted to ride on our cargobike. Fa...
We wanted to do something special for him, and so did the Family ByCycle community on Twitter! Thanks to the generosity of so many people, we're now getting ready to give two new bikes to children who've had a difficult start.
If you'd like to contribute towards the lights, locks and luggage we want to finish off the gift with, to set these children up for cycling to school and beyond, the fund is still open at gf.me/u/y8hbym
We're looking forward to the bikes going to their new home very soon now, and working with the children to encourage them with their riding.
We bought an Islabikes Beinn 24 and a Beinn 26 Small, and we'll be looking at some of the upgrades and repairs we did to the smaller one, over on our podcast next week.
