This is an encouragement for me because the Bible states that Jesus said that Christian persecution would become common and people would think they are doing a good thing to persecute Christians.

There are very few 'Christians' in the US. Christian beliefs come from the life of Christ not from the old testement. Many religious understand that God gave humans free to to be good or bad. Jesus said give unto Caesar what is Caesar's and unto God what is God's. You can believe what you like but do not force others to do - God didn't. If God wanted to make us good He could it in a blink of an eye but he wants Humans to have feel will to sort this out for themselves. I suggest that someone should sue people who are claiming to be Christian but do not follw Christ. Just call themselves Old Testement Bible Bashers
