    I think I’ve watch all the comparison video out there as well as visiting two Kubota and one John Deere dealership.
    You covered all the major points of other videos in one video, so kudos for that. Could have been a few minutes shorter, but not a big deal.
    IMHO, Kubota is the hands down winner in this category. Nice job!

    I’d like to preface this comment by saying I didn’t watch any comparison videos before going to the different dealers and looking at the tractors myself. I recently bought my first tractor. Going in I was very bias and wanted a JD. After first looking at the 3025e I almost pulled the trigger on the purchase but wanted to do my due diligence and look at other brands for comparison. Went to look at the New Holland workmaster 25 and was disappointed with how cheap it looked. Just looked and felt like an simple old tractor way behind on comfort and engineering. Then again I was bias towards JD so maybe I came in not liking it. On my way back to buy the JD I stopped at Kubota. From my first look at the l2501 I noticed most of the differences the guy in this video pointed out. I’m very very particular and almost detail oriented to a fault. My application was for my own landscaping projects at my house. One of the requirements for me was a backhoe. After looking at all three tractors the JD and new Holland both used the same Woods backhoe. Kubota makes their own stuff. I really liked that. Bottom line I fell in love with Kubota even though at the beginning of my purchase experience I didn’t even consider buying a Kubota, I went with the Kubota B26 TLB because it checked off everything I was looking for in a tractor. Now I will say money was not an issue or a deciding factor for me. Quality of build and over engineering was my deciding factor. I actually called the JD salesman and new Holland salesman to talk me out of it and they said they don’t have a tractor as well engineered and overbuilt as the Kubota B26 TLB. That’s my story and opinion.

      And he still couldn't slide that radiator screen out, but didn't mind because the tractor was more orange ;) Yea, you need to look at opinions from a variety of sources.
      He is right that the John Deere stuff is a bit too well hidden in there. If the battery is so far in, they should provide some posts that are easier to reach. I've left my lights on and had to boost in the field. Wouldn't want to disassemble the front of the tractor to do it.

I don't fault the guy on being bias watch some Deere comparison videos and you'll see tons of biased there too. I agree that this guy really is over the top with some things. And really, what man can't read a tape measure? "An 1/8 inch over a half inch"? "A 16th under the number two"? Good god. But that aside, its amazing from the comments below that people can look at facts, and even see it with their own eyes, then claim those facts are somehow false, just because they happen to own another brand. Sure, this guy likes Kubota better and is a bit of a drama queen, but is it because he is biased, or because the facts prove that, at least in regard to the items he discusses, the Kubota is better than the other? I mean really guys...I guarantee if that hood was painted orange, the JD guys would be screaming bloody murder about how flimsy and poorly designed it is. Clearly the air cleaner and battery are FAR more accessible on the Kubota. You can't honestly look at the differences in design of these two machines and conclude that the JD is better?

    I am a Kubota L 2501 owner/operator. It is a truly awesome machine. For my needs, there is no question that the L 2501 is more tractor than the JD 3025e. But, this video is horrible. You had quite a fit of palsy when you opened the JD hood. That seems to have cleared when you touched the Kubota. I was unaware of the L 2501's medicinal powers. For folks trying to decide which to buy- do not make a decision based on this video. Shoot yes, Messicks is better. This video is an embarrassment for Kubota.

I have zero. And you’re sitting there telling me with all of your experience that you didn’t know that John Deere uses a YanMar diesel?! They have always done so. A long time ago the Yanmar used to build the John Deere but they don’t anymore. So it’s zero experience I knew that and you were coming across like you didn’t. In fact the cost of these machines have consistently risen as manufacturers have shipped more and more of the labor to lowest wage countries around the globe. I would rather have american companies using american parts made by american labor for american consumers. If not, ill buy directly from Asia and cut out the john deere middleman and thier phony "made in america" BS.

Deere E-Series are perfect for those who prefer a lightweight machine with low lift capacities, low performance, frequent use of plastics and aluminum, and the fewest features in class. They are reliable machines (as most tractors are) and have that shiny green colored plastic, which many are attracted to. Others prefer orange, red, or blue, whatever tickles your fancy.

USA has fallen behind in many areas of manufacturing and engineering. I'm a user of equipment and will repair when I can. im glade im kubota type because there well built solid and nicely tiedyed and neater and strong and reliable and cheaper and easier for service and parts are cheaper then the deeres

      I see that a requirement to purchasing Kubota over Deere is that you must have less than a third grade education.

      Michelle Hami that is so true the kubota is a fancy model and the deere is a cheapest model and it is 4000 cheaper then kubota

      Bar H Equipment don't be foolish my L245 is always needing something. Glows plugs, injector problems, hydrolic pump fail, three point fail. Also if you want to open the hood the loader needs to be removed

      cmja2012 have you even owned one. I've had many of these small deere's over the years and they're solid. I traded in an old 855 with 2200 hours for a new 29 horse unit (forgot the model) and $600 cash. How's that for trade in value.

    Couldn't agree more, very bias and the acting required to make the John Deere look bad, every machine has their good and bad points and the equipment should be spec'ed to your needs. Didn't look like 25 years equipment experience talking at the start of the video....

    Sorry guy but I went with John Deere 3025e. Great little tractor. John Deere has done nothing but treated me just like the guy that bought a 300,000 dollar tractor.

  • @irule255
    @irule255 Před 5 lety

    I understand this is a completely biased review, but it would help if this guy atleast got his facts straight lol. One look in the Deere attachment manual tells me you can run up to a 72" box blade OR 60'' rotary cutter on a 3025E. But hey, i'm just a goon that knows how to read a manual so what do I know?

  • @carryitaround

    Thickness of the metal is less important than strength. Kabotas cheap steel has to be thicker for strength.

    No doubt this dud is a Kubota dealer. Kubotas will never stand up to a John Deere. Not in the field or at trade in/resale. They are a really pretty orange though,,,, gotta hand that them but that's about it!!

  • @lawnranger3432
    @lawnranger3432 Před 6 lety +1

    This guys a clown. My company has over 3000 hours on our 4300 Deere with zero time in the shop. We have owner 3 Kubota zero turn commercial mowers and during one particular week, all three went back to the dealer for repairs. My local dealer made me feel I owned it to him to by Kubota. Due to my experience with the Kubota mowers and the dealer, I will never buy another Kubota.
