Adobe Fresco vs Procreate: Why I Switched to Fresco!

- It comes down to Adobe Fresco vs Procreate for illustrating on an iPad. After using Procreate for years, I've switched to Fresco. In this video I'll explain why Fresco is better than Procreate for professional illustrators.
Procreate is a hugely popular app for drawing on the iPad. In this video, I'm going to compare it with Adobe Fresco and explain why it's the better choice for professional illustrators.
As someone who makes their living as an illustrator and someone who just draws for fun, I spend a huge amount of time drawing. Even though I have a big fancy Cintiq I do most of my drawing on my iPad. I mainly used Procreate for a long time, and now I mainly use Fresco.
In most ways the apps work the same. The drawing experience is great in both apps. There are some differences though. My comparison is based around my illustration style and the way that I work. As a result I'll just be talking about the things that I use and relate to my workflow.

It may be outdated but it was still incredibly helpful. thank you!
Thanks!!
One other quick thing to note - you can open any Fresco file in the iPhone version of Fresco and make edits, etc. and all layers, animation, etc. are preserved. Pretty cool to be able to move smoothly between iPad, Windows and iPhone with a single file if you need this kind of easy relationship with your files.
Oh that’s super cool. I didn’t realize there was an iPhone version.
That's one of the reasons I'm currently using Fresco. For personal hobby. ☝🏻
This! It’s SO helpful!!
Procreate does that with psd files.
Although you can open PSD files in Procreate (and export them) it’s not the same as being able to work in the same file and have it automatically update when switching between the apps. It seems like a small difference but it’s a big deal when making edits on files for client projects.
I switched to Fresco a couple years ago and I love it specifically because I can create in vector and transfer to Illustrator. Most of the time, I'll draw cartoon figures in Fresco and then do type lockups and other design elements in Illustrator.
Nice, it's great to be able to have a workflow between the different apps.
I love how in depth you got with this topic. Thanks so much for diving deep!
Haha thanks! I can get a little nerdy sometimes.
As of 7 Feb 2024 I came across Chris video during a search to find out what drawing software to use as currently doing Digital Imaging and Graphics as a university elective subject. So far finding this video very good for me to gather history and choose what platform to use to create vector images for my project. Chris is easily understood and I have taken note of his updated comment, which is good to see as often material is not updated, hence why I started my search as other notes directed me to Adobe Draw. Thank you for taking the time to inform others, it is most helpful.
Thank you for this!
Awesome video and I love your illustration style. I've been a designer for over 25 years and as a left hander who mouses right handed I've bee looking for an effective way to sketch illustrations digitally. Vector was a must and never liked the idea of using a wacom tablet. I have been debating on purchasing an new iPad and using pro-create for a few years, but the lack of vector held me back. Looks like Fresco will be perfect for me. You've sold me!
Thanks! Glad you liked the video. Also glad I may have provided a solution!
Thanks for making this, can't wait to try Fresco! Love your work dude!
Thanks so much! Have fun playing around with Fresco!
Ive been struggling to figure out my workflow and this was refreshing. Thank you for sharing! Love your work!
Glad it was helpful!
This video was exactly what I needed to see to make the jump to Fresco from Procreate. I was drawing the illustrations in Procreate, uploading the image to Google Drive, then opening Google Drive on my laptop, saving the image, THEN bringing it into Illustrator, vectorizing it using LiveTrace, and then continuing with the illustration in AI. As you can see, that is a LONG process and as you mentioned, the livetrace can be a bit wonky. So being able to draw in vector in Fresco, save it to my Creative Cloud, and hop on the computer to access it through CC in Illustrator is a total game changer. Thank you so much for sharing this much needed insight. You are THE man.
So glad it was helpful for you! I know that workflow all too well!
Same. I think when I tried Fresco when I got my ipad (2017) it just really didn't have all of the same features and I never went over to try it again. But after watching this video I've tried it some and I think I am going to use it for the final set of illustrations I have to make. I have a new proj, that is a continuation of an old project (2015) where I used Adobe Illustrator. I've been trying to use procreate because I get a more organic look but also have the stabilization. But I HATE HATE HATE how procreate aliases whenever you resize something. Whether it is bigger or smaller it ends up 💩. These fresco brushes are amazing. Thank you for the indepth review!
I have been drawing on procreate for a few years now but after watching your videos I'm really excited to try fresco and explore that option more! I recently started learning about vectors and am hoping to turn my art into vectors so that it is of a better quality when I sell then.
Great to hear!
this video is great!!! thanks for sharing all of this information--- and being so thorough. I'll definitely be checking out more of your videos
Thanks! So glad you found it helpful!
The info about changing speed of animation of paths with just drawing was gold!! Thank you!
Glad you found that helpful! Such a cool feature!
I've been using Kyle's brushes for a long time now and just recently discovered Fresco. I was stoked the first time I used the default brush, it really feels different considering I am an avid fan of Procreate for 2 years now. I am now trying Fresco more because of that - It might be personal but I feel the pencil strokes and feedback is way better than my procreate.
Kyle’s brushes are amazing. I think the pencil strokes and feedback is great in both apps. I bet different brushes likely contribute to how it reacts.
Thanks for this video!I just started using Fresco again after having tried it out when it first came out. It's so much smoother and just leveled up in my opinion compared to procreate. The ability to draw in vector, and mix and match that with realistic drawing and painting tools, and the bucket fill....Overall, it's just easier. I would always run into weird glitches in procreate with the brushes. Like they would randomly cut out mid stroke and things, and I could never figure out what was wrong, if it was a setting I could fix or the app had a problem. But I'm not experiencing that with Fresco. I'm just loving it, it feels totally different, in a good way. Making more excited to draw/paint.
Glad you liked the video! Fresco is updated so often, it's gotten amazing.
Perfect and really helpful comparison! Thank you!
Glad you found it useful!!
I love your humor. Great video! I already have CC and didn’t even know this existed. Thank You!🙏👍 I’m in!
Thanks Tyler!
Great job! I go back and forth between Fresco and Procreate and as Fresco continues to add features I use it more and more. The ability to have Fresco files readily available regardless of what device I am using is huge - as is the ability to draw in vector form. Both are great drawing apps. For me, Fresco is gaining the upper hand. Also, the perspective drawing tools in Fresco are far superior to similar tools in Procreate and other drawing apps.
Thanks! I agree, they're both great apps.
I use Fresco on my desktop PC w/a Wacom Cintiq Pro 32 and an Intuos Pro. Love the ability to quickly bounce between After Effects, Fresco, Illustrator, and Photoshop plus the 5-6 updates a year :)
Drawing directly in vector saves a lot of steps and using Vector Trim (added in v1.6 back in 2020) REALLY helps my line work.
P.S. I was at Wacom’s U.S. offices pre-Covid and was told it’s pronounced ‘wah come’.
I always forget you can use Fresco as a desktop app on Windows-that's pretty cool. Love that vector trim!
Thanks for the comment!
Excellent video .... I really liked the way you explained everything clearly. I got a surface pro as a gift and started drawing on fresco and I felt so dump because everyone is using iPad and procreate and I'm stuck with those two but your video came at the right time to clear things out for me I never used procreate btw. Thank you so much 👍👍
Happy to help! Procreate is a solid app but you’re certainly not missing anything!
I appreciate your straight forward approach to making videos.
Thanks for your knowledge
Thank you!
You are the reason I started using Fresco. Still learning everything as I was an avid Procreate user. I think they both have their strengths...But I have been really enjoying Fresco!
They are both great for sure. Fresco just has some stuff that makes it a little better for me.
@@chris-piascik Chris, I was wondering (can't remember if you mentioned it) about Photoshop brushes in Fresco, how well are they supported and do they function well in your experience?
@@WestonWoodfin that’s one of the benefits for me. Photoshop brushes work in Fresco. I’ve heard that there are some brushes that may have issues but I have yet to experience any.
@@chris-piascik that’s actually a huge plus. Thanks Chris!
Will be trying Fresco out for sure. I run into the limited layers in Procreate a lot and also vectorize my illustrations in Illustrator currently, so those two features alone sound great.
Ahh yeah, should save you some time!
Great video, I really appreciate your in depth comparison! I started with Fresco without having tried Procreate, and I absolutely love the versatility when it comes to Layerings and creating Vector drawings.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
You've convinced me to try Fresco again, it's been a couple of years. Great video! ❤
Cool! Thanks for letting me know!
Definitely convinced me to take a look. I was only generally aware of it, had no idea it did vector or motion graphics stuff... Which just so happen to be two thing I want to add more of to my illustration portfolio!
I think fresco will be good for me to try because I’ll be making vector files and animating the layers in after effects.
If I save the files in the cloud and make changes in fresco, they should change automatically in AE. Like when I use Ai files.
I tried Fresco when it came out, mainly for it’s watercolour brushes, but went back to procreate. Might be good to try it again
Fresco has gotten so much better since it launched, they've been updating it like crazy.
Glad you're here Chris. I found you via rollerblading, am also an artist, and now am stoked you're on YT.
Awesome, thanks so much!
Great review. As you mentioned I fall into the category that tried it in the beginning and wasen´t impressed so I will give it another go. Love your subtle humor 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!! Thank you!
Thanks for the comparison, very helpful! I am just starting out designing on iPad (before creating everything on iMac) and used the Adobe Illustrator for that. I encountered some limitations, so I bought Procreate because everyone seams to be using that nowadays.... I also downloaded Fresco and Photoshop for iPad. Then I made the same (simple) project in all 4 apps: Procreate, Illustrator for iPad, Photoshop for iPad, and Adobe Fresco, so I could compare. I liked Fresco best for this testproject. A downside was that I had to use a lot more layers in Fresco than in Procreate (because of the separation of vector layers and pixel layers) and that was a bit overwhelming. I will definitely watch more of your videos to learn more, you're doing great, love your down to earth mentality, made me laugh a couple of times. Thanks!
Thanks so much Monique! For my work I’m usually either working specifically in vector or raster. I don’t usually find a need to mix them in one file. I generally just use the vector brushes if I have to deliver a project in vector format, or if I’m making something that else that would benefit from being vector.
Hey! You can do your fills on procreate by setting the layer with your linework as a “reference layer”. It’s a bit hidden away but it’s in the menu when you tap a layer. I didn’t know Fresco did vectors though, that could be a game changer for me! As the illustrator app is too slow to draw in on my iPad. Good video 👏👏👏
Thanks! I didn’t realize Procreate had that feature too. Whoops!
@@chris-piascik like I said, it’s hidden away. I recognised it because it’s called that in Clip Studio Paint, which was my desktop go-to. Anyway it looks like it’s better in Fresco!
Was just about comment on the same thing too :D I totally agree with Chris about the paint bucket tool. Filling in colors in Procreate is a bit too tedious when there's a lot of tiny details to fill in.
@joel ebsworth I actually haven’t played around with illustrator on the iPad yet.
@joel ebsworth I’m not sure! I’m sure they’ll be working on it off the back of how good it is on Fresco!
Thanks for the review! I’m a graphic designer who used to draw a lot but is one skill that hasn’t been required vs others. I’ve always been on the look out for a god drawing app and I honestly love the compatibility with fresco and other Adobe programs!
Glad you found it useful Nathan! Thanks for the comment!
I switched to fresco when I learned vector information. I'm writing a graphic memoir of how I used my health and fitness knowledge to stop my mother with mild dementia from forgetting me, and it worked. I use PS for the background pics and of my mother and me, Illustrator for some panels, InDesign to put it all together, and I draw other people with Fresco, depending on what they did. For example, an ER doctor told me that it is just what they do, when they gave my mother an anti-psychotic without my permission, causing more harm than good. I drew him as a robot. I’m almost finished with it. I like to point out to artists that the neuro tests make the elderly draw a cube with no reference or education on any art, and those assessments have no studies showing their efficacy. I agree with Kyle. I was ROTFL several times as well.
Sounds like an amazing project! Thank you for the comment!
I started with Procreate, but got really fed up with the layer limit. So now I use Fresco and it's so versatile. Great video, really entertaining and informative.
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I appreciate this compassion on these apps I now am going to try Fresco
Thanks! Glad you found it informative.0
Awesome! Thank you for sharing. I was just about to buy procreate because the old reviews I saw about fresco made it seem inefficient compared to procreate. But now, watching your review, I realized Fresco is all I need which I already have as an Adobe CC premium user. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! I think those must be reviews about Fresco when it was first launched. It's updated every 4-6 weeks.
The biggest draw for Fresco is how I can use every other Adobe tool with it pretty easily. I love the way the program simulates color mixing
What I may end up doing is using Procreate or Photoshop for drawing, and Fresco for coloring? I'm newer to digital art so we'll see
The seamless integration into the Adobe suite is really great. It seems like an unnecessary step to draw in Procreate and color in Fresco. I think there’s a small adjustment period switching from one to the other, but after a few drawings either feels just as natural as the other.
one thing Adobe Fresco is missing right now is bezier points on the vector strokes. I'm guessing Adobe will add that in at some point. nice video!
I'm not sure I'd use bezier curves much in my work, but I can certainly see how that would be useful to some. Glad you liked the video!
subbed within the first 2 minutes. solid video bruv
Thanks so much!
Great video and explanations. I'm a recent Fresco / Ipad user, so this was very useful for me.
Thanks! Glad you found it useful!
I’m starting to like fresco because of the vector brushes
It's a really great feature. I love being able to draw naturally and have it still be vector.
thanks Chris! I just finished a book project with procreate and recently moved over to fresco, and have been enjoying fresco more and more. I used fresco when it started and thought procreate was easy to jump in and share collaborative edits. BUT now, I like fresco, and will prob use for my next project!
They're both great apps! I imagine for the book process the ability to go back and forth with other CC apps would make Fresco more appealing.
You are my new favorite art channel, you are hilarious. But also super informative, your tips are helpful to me. Will keep watching!
Wow, thank you! ☺️
You’re welcome. I meant to add more detail- I am a wannabe artist, I just haven’t given it the time but hope to, now. I have fresco & procreate. I get stuck on so many of the tools (like you were saying you can’t figure out the pens!) so I can’t trust myself to determine which of the two is better. Your explanation wiped away the feeling that I might be wasting time on Fresco when I should be on procreate. I don’t know why I chose fresco but I’m sticking w it now. That is a distracting “what if” you took away. Whew!
I’m so glad I could help with that! Both apps are great. But I do believe Fresco is the better choice. I do nearly all of my work in Fresco, both client and personal.
Great video… thanks Chris! Switching for sure.
Glad it was helpful!
if you only draw or paint i think procreate is enough.... for that reason also sometimes keeping it simple is a good reason to use procreate, but at the same time fresco is full of amazing tools, so yeah both are amazing and i want to use both
I think they’re both great apps. I worked in Procreate for a ton of personal and client work.
I love your work Chris. Thanks for this unbiased review. Look forward to seeing more here (especially process videos : P )
Thanks so much! Process videos are in the works!
Thanks for a really detailed video it's really difficult when starting out digital on what app and device to actually start with and then finalise with
Glad it was helpful!
I think this video has been the final push I needed to get myself an iPad, thank you, this app seems super cool, and knowing I already have it when I buy the thing is even better ^^
Oh nice! I think you’ll like it!
Long press on your layer icons and you’ll see quite a few more options than just setting the layer to Reference. Such as Clipping Mask, Alpha Lock, and Mask.
Thanks for the tip.
Great video! Will definitely be giving Fresco another go. Procreate is great for sketching but translating that sketch into vector is a bit of a pain. Love your style! Seconding Kyle about laughing out loud several times while watching. I also nodded in agreement a lot. :) Subscribed. Liked. And, I think this is my first ever comment on any CZcams video. (You are not alone having a Procreate gallery full of 'untitled artwork'.)
Thanks so much!!! I’m so honored to be receiving your first comment!
This was so helpful thank you
This is really helpful. I bought an ipad last year to make logos for my business and my fiances business, but I'm basically computer illiterate... I have spent the last 10 years of my adult life without a computer. All of my work was done on paper, and procreate was a huge step in the right direction.
But my logos were grainy. And I was sick of constantly having to start over from stratch because the quality would diminish with modifications I made. I had no idea there were other drawing programs, and your insight has given me a lot to think about!! Thank you!
Glad this was helpful!!
I've been using procreate for a while, but this video and the comments definitely have convinced me to at least check out Fresco. Also, your illustrations are so cool, I love them. :D
Thank you so much!
Hmm, you've convinced me to try the free Fresco version. I currently use Procreate 90% of the time and illustrator the other times. Procreate definitely has some things that i'm not a fan of. When you mentioned having to click and drag the color swatch every time you want to fill something in, I felt validated lmao. i'm going to give it a shot, thanks!
Thanks for the comment Cat! I think you’ll like Fresco!
Very helpful, thanks a lot!
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much for your insight. I will give Fresco a try.
Glad you found it informative! I'm sure you'll like it.
Definitely gonna give fresco a second chance. It couldn't hold a candle to procreate early on. I'm a tattoo artist and illustrator. Procreate was just the easier more full featured app for me
It’s definitely grown a ton since it first launched, they’re adding new features every 6 weeks from what I hear.
I'm pretty sure it's pronounced "WAH-com"
Yep!
Great video, thank you for the comparison!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Great video bro! Keep it up! Im In illustrator macbook rn goin to invest in a ipad real soon
Thanks so much!
Thanks for this helpful info.
Glad it was helpful!
This video is super helpful, funny, and honest at the same time I love it 😆🔥
Thank you so much!!
Great comparison! I didn't know as much about Fresco and you did an awesome job covering the differences as well as the +/- of each. Thanks for the info and insights!!
Glad it was helpful!
Just found you thanks to creativepeptalk podcast! So nice to see you have this amazing content in youtube too.
You convinced me to give it a try to adobe fresco.
Oh cool, thanks! Was it a recent episode? I’m slightly behind. Or was it my interview years ago?
I've been a Procreate fan for years but after watching your videos on Fresco, I'm definitely going to attempt a switch...the compatibility with other Adobe apps sounds like a game changer. Your videos have been super helpful...thank you!
Glad I could help!
Thank you for this informative video. It did help me with my decision. I already have Photoshop and Lightroom and are familiar with PS.
glad it was helpful!!
I AM in the category of people who tried Fresco early on. I have used Procreate since 2016. You have convinced me to give Fresco another shot. Thanks!!
Ah yeah, it's gotten so much better!
Thank you! This was super helpful to me, as someone looking to start creating digital illustrations as a hobby. The deadpan delivery of your jokes was also👌😂
Thanks Eddymer! Glad you found it helpful! Also glad you appreciate my sense of humor :)
new subscriber, great and super super helpful video! I have never been in love with Procreate due tot he fact its not vector based. I used to really like Adobe Draw but now i'm getting into Fresco. Great work, thank you
Thanks so much Neil! I used a Adobe Draw for a long time before Fresco was released. I liked it a lot too, but now that I’ve spent so much time in Fresco I’ve realized it’s everything Draw was plus a ton more. Glad you found the video helpful!
I recently bought iPad and your CZcams videos are šo helpfull! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience! Cheers from Latvia!
Glad you like them!
Great video! I recently have been using Adobe Fresco more after years of using procreate. Like button smashed!
Thanks for the smash! Glad you liked the video!
Loved it, thank you soooo much for the info you shared here.
I am new to your channel. Just happened to find it when I was checking procreate animation on youtube.
I found you funny. I hit like and subscribed. Looking forward to watching more of your videos and the new videos you'd be creating too!
Thank you so much! This was an early video for me and I feel like I’ve improved quite a bit with the newer ones, I hope you like them!
Hey, I'm looking to get an iPad and step up my game. I've been using Fresco on my phone and I love it. The vector tools are a major game changer. Thanks for the reassurance that it's the way to go.
Cool Will! Glad this was helpful!
Awesome video! I follow and watch your skillshare classes all the time! I am a procreate user but I do love vector art. I would enjoy seeing some adobe fresco classes in illustration and animation on skillshare! 😊
Thanks so much! I'm currently working on a new class on creating an animated scene using Adobe Fresco.
There are several Fresco courses on Skillshare, as well as a lot of content here on CZcams. I do shows for Adobe Live and many of them have Fresco tutorials.
Man, you are VERY thorough! I am an avid procreate user, but I do have creative cloud, so I'm definitely going to be trying Fresco out!
Haha thanks! I kept feeling like I was leaving things out!
@@chris-piascik I found this video through Instagram ads, so just wanted to let you know it worked! However, I wish it had a clickable link. It only gave me an option to message you. So I just searched the title on CZcams instead.
@@sketchperez thanks for letting me know. When I boosted the post it was on Facebook and I didn’t know they’d run it on Instagram like that. Glad you found it regardless!
I like your video and humor! +1 sub!
I am one that tries Fresco when it first came out and didn’t like it much… after watching this, I’m gonna download and give it another shot. Thanks for the info!
Thanks so much! Happy the info was helpful!
Oh I just discovered AF and I’m excited! I’m currently using procreate and still affinity designer, can’t afford the upgrade. I’m excited and may just skip to learning AF.
Chris- Great video for helping me weigh my options. I still have to noodle with Fresco more to see about moving from Procreate for my native creative platform. Seeing as I am needing more vector-enabled for my work, I just wonder if my work in Procreate and exporting as PSD (while investing time into learning Photoshop to vectorize) is ultimately where I want to head. Again, appreciate your time and thoughts in the above video!
Glad you found it useful! It is nice to be able to draw directly in vector.
Wow thank you so much for sharing this info! It’s gold. Totally going to give Fresco a try. Liked and subscribed 👍
Thanks so much Brett!
Thanks for the video. I’ll give fresco another look.
Good tip about the files in Procreate ... I had no idea!
I’ve since found out you can set up your iCloud to back them up, so that’s something!
This was useful info because I did not want to buy an i-pad, and think I can now try animation. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
You made me laugh out loud so many times in this video!! I have subcribed purely because of that, but your tips are also really fab!
Thanks for letting me know! I really appreciate that!
Loved this video so much I hit that like twice :)
Hahah yesssss!
Awesome video man. Found it through your amazing Insta channel.
One thing though- Procreate does have layer reference. Subscribed and liked!
Thanks so much! I didn’t know Procreate had that feature did they recently add it?
I'm a fan of illustrator with the mouse. But this year I have proposed to use the iPad more. I've never liked how procreate looks when I zoom in 😅. I used fresco when the logo was green and I didn't like it, I thought it was also pixel because I'm a vector freak. I liked this video a lot, I'm starting to make animated texts and being able to group the animations is excellent!!! Awesome videos keep it up.
Sorry if you don't understand something, I put the text in translate. Greetings from Puerto Rico, fan of your work. I hope to learn more from your videos.
Thanks so much! I'm happy to hear you liked the video.
great video thanks for the comparison! i'm just back to using fresco. can't wait to experience all the new stuff after the app was so limited at the release. anyway i noticed two things you said about procreate. procreate does have a reference feature. you put one layer as reference and fill in on another. also recolor is a feature to fill with the same color faster. you don't have to drag and drop it from the right all the time. yes it's slower than the bucket but still.
Glad you liked the videos. Thanks for the clarifications on Procreate, I must have missed those!
New to drawing and needed to know exactly everything you talked about in this video, which makes it easier to cope with your voice and face 😂😂😂 seriously, though, great job! 🙌🏻
Haha awesome! Glad it was useful!
Wow! I had tapped out of Adobe Fresco a while back. I am truly impressed with the updates to the app. This might be the smoothest vector drawing experience I have ever had on an iPad app (didn't think they would be able to top Vectornator).
Yeah, it’s gotten so much better since I made this video too!
You could use recolor for bucket tool in procreate.
To change the action buttons, tap and hold with the pencil on any button. A whole list of actions will appear, in alphabetical order. Scroll to find the Recolor action, and select it.
👍
Thanks for making and sharing this. Fresco seems to be what I have been looking for having tried Procreate but not found the brush type that I was looking for. Love the size and opacity sliders in Procreate, wish Fresco had this. Seems more fiddly.
Glad you found it helpful! The size and opacity sliders are in fresco too. When your on a brush the little menu that pops up on the left has those settings.
@@chris-piascik In fact @ManicMiner, in the little menu that pops up, there are three ways to interact with the size and opacity.
1. Put your finger on the button and immediately slide up and down to change the value.
2. Tap the button to view a slider.
3. Hold your finger on the button and then enter a value on a numeric keypad.
Awesome video, thanks for making it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
After watching this post a couple of weeks ago, I also switched to Adobe Fresco from Procreate. I’d never been comfortable with the brushes in Procreate and find that Fresco’s brushes are better, and the app itself is more flexible. Thanks!
Glad this was helpful!
Thank you for this video. I mainly use vector, so fresco is a dream for me. I luv using Adobe, fresco.!! It's really awesome. Also, thank you for the awesome video. I just seen you for the 1st time, watching this video. I will continue to watch your channel. Thank you again for the video awesome work or shall I say awesome fun because creating art is so much fun!! Thanks.!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy Fresco as much as I do. I appreciate you watching my videos!
Excellent Video...I'm looking into Fresco!!!
Thanks! I’m sure you’ll like it!
Love, love your great discussion comparing the virtues/detractions between Adobe Fresco and Procreate. It was superbly insightful, perfectly paced, and enjoyable to watch. Consider me a new "fanboy." I hadn't given Fresco much thought because of my long-ago first impressions. But having listened to your piece, I'm cranking up Creative Cloud to download the app after I finish this message. BTW, your illustrations are beautiful and I love walking through them like I used to walk through the zoo; every turn around the corner presents a surprise or new revelation. So, for me, your work is a new, wonder-filled place to park my brain and stroll like the kid I once was.
Thanks you so much, I really appreciate your kind thoughtful response! Glad my work resonated with you and the video was useful!
@@chris-piascik Yes, Sir! Also purchased your Blockasscik font to support your efforts.
Oh, thanks!!
Thank you for your work and your advices! I've ordered ipad pro case following your advice and cant' wait to try them together, it'll be my first digital tool in more than 15 years of drawing, painting and tattooing.
Btw I got dizzy from all this camera shaking, jfyi
Thanks! My apologies about the camera shake, this was one of my first videos and it’s been a bit of a learning curve for me.
This video inspiried me to tryout Fresco. I will follow up to let you know how it goes
Cool!
I agree the smoothing tool in Fresco is hard to get used to! And I agree of your pros of procreate! I think Fresco is taking notes and will have some updates for us sooner than we think.
I think I’ve adapted to the smoothing. Once they add the snapping shapes I’ll be super happy. They’re definitely updating all the time 🤞
Fresco is updated every 4-6 weeks!
Nice shirt fella! Great band🤘🏾
The best!
Very nice explication. Thanks
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
