- Manor Lords is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits? @thespiffingbrit is gonna kill me for that impression! Also shout out to my buddy @GrayStillPlays for finding this exploit thanks to his PC that constantly crashes whilst playing this game!

*I have sensed a disturbance in the force*
It tingles
Tea supplies are low? I think some 'Muricans are brewing up a habour
WAR I DEMAND WAR HE HAS SHAMMED THE NAME OF TEA WITH HIS INSOLENCE!!!
Yesss I love this 😭 the spiffing engineer
he did as a matter of fact see that
“Sire, Sire, the peasants are revolting.” “ I know they’re disgusting aren’t they.” 😂
"How do you know he is a King?" "He hasn't got shit all over him". 😂
Quick ! Distract Spiff by throwing boxes of tea at him !
I'm American, I only throw tea in the harbor.....
Yo there’s a Tea party in Boston that us Americans are throwing for you, British.
i feel like he only drinks tea that comes out of a tin
@@TheRealOxidan Grr😆
@@oAndi3REPENT! FOR YOU HAVE COMMITTED A GREAT SIN AGAINST TEA!
18:59 "They've got 18 people with.. carrots!?" If that wasn't a Monty Python skit it darned well should've been! 🤣
I recently watched all of Monty Python's flying circus and yeah that moment really did feel like a Monty Python skit.
"You bandit currs are as filthy dogs. I like dogs.
I feel like in universe, that note got passed around the camp as the bandit leader thought his eyes where going screwy XD
at 20:43 "Communal Oven... Shove a family in there"
germany at 1936 to 1945
The spiffing Brit replied so fast I can only imagine Matt uploaded the video and immediately sent him a text that just says "I'm Sorry"
Or he is subscriber and RCE releases on fixed schedule.
Don't know how far ahead he'll record the next episode, but Matt's biggest problem with the farms is the fields are too big. He needs smaller fields for quicker plowing and seeding, at least until he can use animals to help with the plowing.
I was going to comment this.
I don't think Matt is too worried about efficiency with his triangle homes haha.
You're not wrong
This saved me. I’m new to rts games and just bought manor lords. Thanks
@@ayosammyI’m sure I could search it up but I’m lazy.., what are rts games? Particularly, the “rts” part
0:00 anyone else hear the inner gremlin or just me?
With 69 construction materials, you should be able to erect a few very rigid and strongly shaped buildings.
That farm is brutal with remembering when to plant. I guess you just need to leave a family as farmers at all times
Someone get the Yorkshire Tea ready as a sacrifice for Spiff!
I thought that's how to placate biffa..
@@user-yl7yv4gy8kshhhhh don't mention biffa or he will awaken too! 😮
@@user-yl7yv4gy8kspiff and Biffa, two sides to the same coin, the Yorkshire tea coin
You have never seen the spiffing brit and Biffa in the same room together.
We have Nifftea here. Spiff should try some too.
I'm 30 seconds in and I hope the spiffing Brit sees this intro. 😂 Amazing Job Matt 💜
In Michigan, snow is sometimes here until April
Farms should be smaller so it can be taken care of faster plowed/sown/reaped. Your giant field should really be 3 fields then you can have 1 growing and the others on fallow to maintain fertility
You just need to put more families for the bigger fields. 8 families easily plow and sow three 1 morgen fields (with one fallow each year). The problem is that this is winter wheat. It's planted in the fall and grows all year-round, not just from spring to fall.
@@justinbaier i absolutely agree. It's just he started a farm with minimum families to spare, so a smaller field would work better until he has a much larger population.
This game looks fun
Hopefully this becomes a series
Those triangular plots are so incredibly painful to my eyes. I love them!
I love watching the snowy season settle in and go away. It's so nice and comfy looking
RCE mentions the spiffingbrit
*Spiffingbrit joins the chat*
“I have sensed a disturbance in the force”
*Doom Music kicks in*
I can smell the Yorkshire tea already
I laughed every time he said he was getting linen from the sheep.
Linen is made from flax, which is a plant. But I'm assuming from your comment, that you knew that.
Did you know though, that linen is the oldest textile fabric?
@@QueenMonny I'd be surprised if it was, flax is way too finicky to turn into linen, a lot of fooling around with it. I'd just weave my pre-historic cargo pants out of straw.
The Real Civil Engineer has planned a Boston Tea Party
20:43 The Real Engineer without context once again!
Can't wait for thespiffingbrit to do a "totally balanced bridge mechanics review!" XD
15:38 Game: "Forrest Fire" (Waldbrand) ; Matt: "Wall Brand" (Mauermarke) 😂
I thought I was watching a very spiffing youtuber for a solid minute before figuring it out.
Only an engineer can think of such magnificent solutions to every day problems.
Who else would attempt to get linen from sheep and make bread by cooking wheat?
"Its march and theres still snow on the ground?!" - Meanwhile i look outside in May and see snow piles outside (Northern Sweden)
New favorite series. Just needs a song intro!
i need more of manor lords!
It's worth the 20 bucks to get a second oxen at the beginning, helps speed up construction and hauling supplies to storage.
PLEASE MORE OF THIS GAME!!!!
I only hope for-if Spiff “claps back”-he does an engineering time song. Engineering time is the best time.
You can limit work areas under the advanced tab, so they dont deforest your bushes or have your animals migrate
Hey Matt, you should run around as your Lord, top right of the screen where the portrait of your Lord is there is an eye symbol, click that and it should drop you to 3rd person. Allows even closer inspection of your minions :P
Err... Matt, please go into the advanced tab in the woodcutter's lodge or the logging camp and you can just select the area of trees to cut down. Really, there's no need to relocate them....
Sorry, I was just screaming so hard at the screen.....
Also, you can get some trade routes on the way, they give you more money than even the glitch does
Mat: make it
Spiff: buy it
1:58 “hides”
RCE: “is that cheese?
21:15 I watched that Lego beer song about a thousand times!
Now that would be amazing and funny. too see them do something together.
that lego beer song... not heard that in forever
loving this series
Two of the best Brit CZcamsrs in one place, it's the unintentional collaboration we all wanted.
I thought I had a stroke reading that title with your channel at first
Holy shit that lego "Beer" clip was a blast from the past. I completely forgot about it lmao
Wool to yarn, didn't see a use for yarn in the crafting sets... Need the farm to grow a plant that... can't recall the name of it, not wheat nor barley, is the other one that they can turn into linen. I guess it's the European version of the Cotton plant.
I feel like this is like when a young lion comes to challenge the older head lion to a fight.
hi love your vids keep it up
Glitch doesn't work anymore. Might have been a one time thing tbh because your tents didn't collapse the first time you looted the camp.
Matt foresters are helpful to avoid deforestation, just a thought
no way. im not the only one who knows about the lego beer song:]
Clicked on this thinking it was a Spiffing Brit video due to the title, was not disappointed!
Pretty sure they nerfed the exploit to the one I mentioned in a comment yesterday. New bandit camp rolls at D+1 of load, and can be in any available slot. That said, in a couple days, you could still have the whole map covered in bandits and just advance the game one day at a time for profit.
Matt, that's winter wheat. You have to plant it in the fall!
That was a great jab at the 'ol Brit 😂
day 22 of telling mat that 6+9=15 and 6x9=54 and 15+54=69 which means that (6+9)+(6x9)=69
0:13 spiffing brit lol
I like this series! it is veery in depth
You can brew the beer with artisans, just like you did with the shoes.
Oooohh my goooood... That intro.... Please! More!!
I cannot believe you got through two episodes of this without a single beaver reference 😂
He actually continued a series!?
If anything, wheat needs to be sown in september and harvestede the year after in august.
I want to see Spiff and RCE try to play Rust together of all things. They can farm Tea and build the most Engineered base ever.
There is an irl fast forward button it's called napping
The clay is stored is the pits, hit my brain funny
I hope you’ll play this again soon Matt
The armises of the beer armada are growng strong against the tea forces
Reminds me of Life is feudal but a bit slicker.
All you needed was a photo of the same bearded man with in different states of emotion with the watermark on them. 9/10. 😂
When you get a message about bandit thefts, click on the message to go to the location of the bandits, then administer justice to the miscreants.
Editors are like the workers in these games. If you want to build/make something faster. Throw money at them
For the tavern i think it might be easier to enable it again after pausing it. (Perhaps you did that of camera? )
and one of the level 2 burgages should be geven the backyard extension brewery, to produce als from malt.
RCE will be trying to solve traffic jams with roundabouts next. 🤔
1:56 what type of cheese are they selling over there? 😂
Was it RCE's drainage that was overwhelmed in dubai recently?
Yeh the enemys come from the edge of the map because in the next version of the game you'll be able to attack the enemy's castle! 😊
The only thing I can think that would make this game a bit better (in what terms I don’t know, but taking the family idea) instead of unassigned: those should be assigned to construction. Also, the “families” should have a name so they can build wealth in their industry from experience. Overtime the logging company could be called “smith and co” or any number of combinations. Then you could follow them as a family.
I have my first game going and those rival armies just wiped out the raiders coming for my village.
hehehe supprised by snow still on the ground in March..... it was snowing here today(27/4) in Sweden and i dont even live in the northen part of it.
Waldbrand literally means forest fire.
Why would anyone want to claim that?
Sound like a place tailor made for City Planner Plays
maybe because most of the time the army isn't active then the town isn't safe so the bandits are part of the unsafe status?
I never thought it before, but is Matt actually just an alternate persona of @thespiffingbrit
Building a wood cutter right next to berries made me cringe
If you click on the bandit message it will take you to the camp that stole from you.
Medieval raiders? Historically huge baseball fans.
So this game is basicly cities sl2 but medieval?
02:01 Bandits are the seals medieval Europe.
the slip of calling the task manager Taskmaster. RCE appreciates quality television
He should get a foresters cabin.
Definitely should have kept some Spearman
“We need wool to make linen” 😭
Was so confused I was expecting spiffbrit.. I saw him in the comments though ..
This is very similar to a game called Ostriv
If anyone's brutally obsessed with purely hardcore Medieval warfare and society I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series
Matt, you’ll need a pasture for your sheep
Spiff would be so proud ☕️🇬🇧
Never played this game but have played similar games in the past and I can't help but feel that RCE is on the verge of having his hard hat shoved in by one of his neighbors.
Manor Lords, the battle city skylines.
Just don't tell him you were drinking coffee 😁
