At the D1 level its your job to STAND OUT is no one job to pay attention to you lol. Where did this mindset come from. I played for GA southern 04 - 07. We wasnt crying about this BS. These players sounds like cheerleaders trying to get on a team. Everyone sound so soft mannnn. All these feelings, all these emotions smh. ITS A BUSINESSS. MAN UP or GET GONE. COMPASSION MANNNNNN PPl jobs on the stake. Careers at stake. Bad players make it hard for good players

I thought it was regular for kids to get cut in D1 programs. That’s the issue. They give them access to everything. Also really look at the outcomes of literally 6 of those games. They were competitive and atleast 3 were winnable . Arizona,Utah,and Stanford. UCLA was winnable as well. 2 picks and they couldn’t capitalize. I’m excited about this team. PS did the media say this about Steve Sarkisan when he went 4-9 with Texas?
Colorado never initiates the negative..They respond..Why no stories on 4 and 5 stars being cut by Bama..Texas..etc

Man I don’t know what community those kids grew up in but I go all the way back to little league you ball or go home ain’t no participation trophy. We had bull in the ring that’s where you make the decision if you want to play this game or not!! All those past players had the opportunity to step it up or move on the few players that stayed competed and started so it’s not Coach problem you got punk in your heart as we used to say coming up, you old head know what that means!!

I think some responsibility falls on the CU athletics department to prepare the football players for the changes. The current football staff had a responsibility to the players to support the transition. CU athletics had ample opportunity to research, watch how this new coaching staff was going to come in and let the players know no one was guaranteed a spot on the roster. Not sure how the new boss/coach gets all the blame when the hiring company knew what they were getting and what the plan was to improve the situation. Just a thought 🤷🏽♀️

The transfer portal was the worst thing that could happen for these kids that grew up believing it was their right to play/get in the game because Jon Doe’s started scouting services and started ranking players so now they think they’re actually nice
He told them off the rip he won't sugarcoat. They wanted kumbaya and hakuna matata. He definitely is showing on well off time to play and time to work. Lots of kids went to CU and stayed imagining a players coach and they were awfully surprised he wasn't. Shedeur didn't even know xavier smith since numbers weren't issued until spring game . People don't even know all the details and expect accountability.

Kids can’t have it both ways. They advocated for a financial piece of the pie, compromising amateurism (if it ever existed), but in that, welcome to the real world. Real life, particularly when $ are given for service, is rough. Criticism and evaluation is daily…deal with it or don’t take the “bag”. Players are no longer immune and protected.

The number of stars doesn't matter if they they expect the red carpet to be laid out. Star ratings on based upon what you did elsewhere, not where you are. You have to prove yourself everywhere you go.
