2001 NBA Finals Game 2, June 8, 2001 | Following a 15 point (7-22 FG), 6 turnover performance while watching Allen Iverson drop 48 points on his team, ending the Lakers' quest for an undefeated championship run, Kobe came out aggressive from the opening tip. He scored 12 points in the first quarter and set the tone for a grind-it-out 98-89 victory to tie the series up at 1-1. Kobe would finish with a game high 31 points (11-23 FG) while recording 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals & 2 blocks in 47 minutes on the floor. Also included in this video is Kobe's trash talk with Iverson late in the 4th.

If Kobe even had shot his usual 45% for Game 1, the series would likely have been a sweep. AI should have thanked Bryant for having an awful start as that's the only way he ever won a Finals game.
