This is absolutely fascinating. I'm typing this in June of 2021, and everyone thinks that these conversations are so special and new to right now.

Those were the days when Reporters & Investigative Journalists actually kept the Public informed ->> but, if they were TOO good, they got nailed or jailed.

Thoughtful and unbiased, we did not realize how good this guy was when he had his own show.

I remember when journalism really was professional. I worked with Marie Torre when I was an intern at KDKA-TV. Total class. No place for anyone like her in today's media feeding frenzy.

The judiciary would survive without the compulsory subpoena allowed by the 6th Amendment.
It is out of character for a free nation to compel a person who is innocent of any crime to appear before a judge.
No one question the subpoena power of the state. I think that would be a good starting point.
The needs of the state do not give it any claim on me.

Cohn blaise mentioning of "Father Gigante or something", happens to be Vincent Gigante brother. Roy was the 5 families in house lawyer and consigliere. Nice Roy, nice.

Was Roy Cohn accepted by liberals, essentially, in TV and radio and debates of this type (other than Bill Boggs), despite the hatred many had for him?

Why is nobody watching this? Voting Americans need to learn everything they can about Roy Cohn given his connection to practices of DJT and the more dominant Roger Stone. Good Lord.

Yes, I got here via Bill's interview with Cohn and Gore Vidal, initially about the film Tail Gunner Joe, which Cohn disliked immensely, great archive, absolutely all still relevant a great presenter/journalist.

NASA F I don’t think DJT looks very strong these days, and hasn’t done a very good job fending off the Democrat’s investigations and attacks. And it’s almost completely self inflicted. Now he’s facing Impeachment, and in the next dozens months or so is going to look, politically speaking, about as strong as Roy did while he was on his death bed, alone, abandoned and dying of AIDS.

Gavin Andrew yes, I agree democratic leadership has looked at times as petty and partisan. Difference between then and now is we’re dealing with a pandemic, and as much as anything the Dems criticisms of trump that have come off as political, Trump has done wayyyyy wayyy worse in the almost daily press conferences he’s held. And again, completely self inflicted by trump. Both the pathetic response to the pandemic and his dealing with the media. He makes it so so so much worse on himself and his cause.

@@matthewsmith5374 I don't agree. He is slow-dripping a public disclosure campaign to expose organized crime at the highest levels. A current example would be how he is parading Faucci; you may not believe the following but the knowledge of this virus, its and other illness's cures have been known by him, the CDC, WHO, Gates Foundation etc for enough time that they could be charged for their negligence. These Covid patents trace back to Bill Gates and George Soros who funded the lab in Wuhan. This is bio-terrorism and one of many crimes the DNC can and will be proved guilty of. Rudi Guliani will prosecute them for racketeering like he did the Mafia in the 70's. Also watch out for how the vaccine industry will be exposed as dangerous. Key words to follow from Trump's lips - 'safe' and 'testing'. Why use the word 'safe' in context with vaccines? Is there a chance that they're not? Why talk about testing? Because vaccines aren't tested. He is laying the ground for a reformed pharmaceutical industry. The UV lighting therapy that he mentioned is already in progress. The hydroxychloroquine he cited has also yielded positive results. All this in the face of a hostile, bias and corrupt media leaves it up to us for our own discernment which is what this disclosure campaign is all about. We need to see past the deception and realise who the real criminals are to usher in the next phase of the plan: military tribunals!

@Google Needs TobeBombed @Google Needs TobeBombed Revisionist horseshit.
"Unethical, business wise?" What business? Lawyer? He was an unethical lawyer. In ways that not only _suggest_ he was also a completely unethical person but _prove_ it. Unethical in every aspect as a person that extended into everything he ever did.
He was finally disbarred for his unethical actions as a lawyer in a situation where he would benefit personally.
He was a Jew who specifically instructed a judge to persuade a jury to reconsider the death penalty after they had already concluded a life sentence. They did. Death penalty carried out... _on a Jew._ He would have been a great _Sonderkommando_ or _Judenrat._
"Destroyed Communism?" Gimme a break! He destroyed the lives and livelihood of many actors, writers, artists, and a good many regular, ordinary citizens. Albeit their political affiliation may or may not have communism. And back then you had a lot more political diversity, not just Reps and Dems. And they were regarded as regular normal political parties. But it was Roy, capitalizing on the (then) recent spate of anti-Russian (Communism) sentiments. Roy was a factor in developing and propagating a dread _fear_ of Communism. Communism around every corner. Ready to rise up and fester if not given diligent effort to seek and root it out. _Even in your own family._
He was a homosexual, regardless what you think. Well known fact by those who knew Roy, and known by most of New York as secondhand information.
A homosexual who actively sought to persecute and prosecute homosexuals.
