today feels like one of those when the daily routine isn't enough, we're constantly adapting to new information that's changing our world, and I know we have that power to adapt, but felt a bit too much today and I went for some extra isolation in the van to play for a while... I've been obsessed with playing this song that I heard John Prine cover beautifully (by Blaze Foley) and another one of his that has been this past week's challenge for me, to progress with my travis picking technique, so I've been playing In Spite of Ourselves day and night for days to myself and to my quaranteam making them sing it with me. we're not ready for the concert just yet!
just when I started playing, two friends walked down across the road from their daily walk, and listened from the other side for a while, and then this rain appeared out of nowhere and made it more special.
