Te Araroa 17/18 | Ep. 5 | Hills & Highways

After passing through New Zealands biggest city, Auckland, I found myself in the flatlands of Waikato. Rolling green hills and lots of sheep! I Following the Waikato river I worked my way down to Hamilton and beyond to Tongariro and Whanganui national parks. I welcomed in 2018 paddling down the Whanganui river with a bunch of good friends. With my legs just about getting used to this way of life, I found myself enjoying the trail more and more as the days went by.
