Te Araroa 17/18 | Ep. 6 | The Tararuas & Wellington

After a small delay in Levin because of poor weather, I returned to the Te Araroa starting with an alpine section across the Tararua mountain range. Popping out at Waikanae, it was a fairly leisurely walk along the coast for the last couple of hundred kms to Wellington, New Zealand's capital. This marked the end of the North Island leg of the Te Araroa trail. 2 months down, I was pretty eager to see what the South Island had to offer.
