Poor Lucky Bottoms… This Spirit Halloween animatronic, new for 2022, is scary right out of the box, but we knew that we could make him absolutely terrifying. He lost his legs in a tragic magic trick gone wrong, so our plan was to give them back - only this time he’d have a few extras. Clowns are scary and giant spiders are even scarier, which makes the Pennywise spider form from IT pure nightmare fuel. Clowns are not usually a part of our Halloween decorations and this new addition is sure to scare all of the Trick ‘r Treaters!
To start our Halloween makeover, we first made Lucky Bottoms a new frame out of PVC to get him off the ground. We gave him PVC giant spider legs which were then covered in pool noodles. We made him a new costume to look more like Pennywise, completely re-painted his face, and gave him a new wig. The final results are both amazing and terrifying. We’re so excited to include this scary clown in our Halloween 2022 haunted house yard display.
The Spirit Halloween Lucky Bottoms animatronic is a scary Halloween prop but we knew that with a little DIY love we could unleash his true power and figure out how to make him into the most terrifying clown you’ve ever seen. I was at spirit Halloween yesterday and noticed that lucky bottom was on clearance and almost bought him. Here I am Monday morning watching a video of you guys remaking him, that's just awesome. I shared this video with my kids because they're "IT" fans. They're gonna love this!
Y'all outdo yourselves every time!!!! This is one of the more disturbing prop makeovers y'all've done so far, it's soooo good! Spirit Halloween should really pay y'all for these ideas!
Excellent makeover, gave me flashbacks to being terrified of IT as a child. A video suggestion - I don’t see many videos on revamping or repainting store jack o lanterns. I’d love to see what you guys would come up with. Trying to do my own but without any real videos on the subject feeling a bit stuck. Thanks for great vids!

Instead of super gluing the joints I would recommend self tapping screws. You can drive them right through the pvc coupler into the pipe which makes them not move, but gives the added ability to take it apart for easier storage. You could label the pipes with matching letters or numbers to make sure you can easily put it back together the same way every time.
You guys really outdid yourselves with this one. I thought Lord Raven was awesome, but the props just keep getting better and better!!

I absolutely adore these people. I love everything they do because they are equally as creative as I try to be. They might not be living the perfect life but they are living the dream because they're happy they're creative and their making a difference in people's lives. At some point these people are going to go even more forward and expand and at that point I want to work for them. I believe in them in every aspect. They save money they make things better than they were before, their creative they're inspiring and they are at the top of the game. No one else does what they do. I hope that when they become a corporation that they will hire me because I will definitely be a devoted employee. I love these people

This has to be the best make over i've ever seen. That was such a cool idea to turn him into the pennywise spider, I absolutely love this.
As always , you two never fail with your projects. This is an absolute banger , if I saw this at night Trick Or Treating I wouldn’t know what to do , I’d be stuck frozen. You two did an AMAZING job you managed to make a pretty decent animatronic into one hell of a Halloween prior that tells an amazing story. If you don’t mind me making a suggestion , I would love to see you two do something very tim burton inspired maybe like beetlejuice or whatever and you can add your own spooky flare , I think you two would hit it out of the ballpark. ❤

Another great one, love your projects. BTW For any one coping this project. Instead of gluing PVC pipe you might want to drill a hole trough the joints and fix things in place with a split pen or bold. That way you can take things apart for storage.

Lucky Bottom’s original design reminded me a lot of the creepypasta Laughing Jack (or at the least the art interpretations of it). If you happen to like any creepypastas I would LOVE to see Halloween prompts/decorations based on them.
