i dont know that much about the game but i feel like its still not worth it to summon apocalypse bird for that quest
@@ducc295 It is and isn't at the same time. Like if you just want to get the quest done then yes, it's probably the fastest way to get it done especially when you only have to deal with one Aleph instead of three different ones. The gift afterwards is also useful and It might also be counted as the easiest way to get it done instead of dealing with the other Alephs. Nothing There, Blue Star and WhiteNight definitely being huge pains and some of the hardest when you don't have the skills or stuff to deal with them quick enough.
However the after effects are not worth it especially when you have everything that can escape, will escape and cause even more damage then is needed. It's even worse when you have multiple Alephs escaping at that point too because of people dying, which might as well just call it a game over at that point.
first timer here, I can attest that it definetly worth it if you know what you're doing

A bit of theory crafting, although the birth of apocalypse bird comes from the 3 birds returning to the forest, it can be implied that apocalypse bird was the original form of judgement bird. The almighty apocalypse bird watched over the forest "punishing sinners justly" but as those around them began to fear it, not knowing it was them, cuts off "his eyes" creating the big bird to search for the monster, after the apocalypse bird became blind it's scales became unjust, thus relinquishing his role as punisher to punishing bird, leaving behind a blind, lost bird with an unjust scale to judge those around him, nothing but a husk of it's previous form
That's a good theory here's one of my own, probably able to coexist with yours too. One of the game's themes is stoicism. That much can be discerned by the four main stats being the virtues of Stoicism; Prudence, Justice, Temperance, and Fortitude.
The birds represent the three most obvious virtues while leaving out the father of them, ultimately making them worse than if they did nothing at all.
Big Bird is Fortitude; he's endured a great deal for his ideals, and continues even when he should be resting. Because his ideals seem good, but his methods are wrong he will remain intensely wrong forever.
Judgement Bird is Justice(obviously), Justice as a virtue means "Render unto eath their due", or in modern english "Give everyone what they deserve". Properly done one gives no punishment to those who haven't earned it, he insists on providing a punishment to anyone who isn't good, and thus his scales never align justly.
Punishing Bird is Temperance, Temperance is specifically about not doing bad things, normally it's the virtue that restrains Justice, Fortitude, and even Prudence to a degree. Because he refuses to understand he and his friends are the monster he never restrains their worst traits, and instead attempts to restrain the faults of others.
The missing virtue is Prudence naturally, as a virtue means "Right Reason", which is hella hard to explain so I'll scatter a few related phrases; "Adapt yourself to be correctly aligned with the world." or "Look before you leap." or "Learn the rules before you try to make them."
Prudence is good sense, it demands careful examination, and a degree of doubt. Those with faith(Which means "Blind Belief") in themselves and their friends are the true monsters.
Also the Twilight weapon looks quite similar to the Justitia

Punishment is scary, yes
But even if both are bad evil, having good judgment system would've stopped the tragedy
Perhaps same could be told about any of 3 components (since blind or not damaging monster wouldn't be effective at evil)
But the problem is that the system _stuck_ because influence from outside (from where mistakes are easier to see) was considered a sin
Everyone makes mistakes, but not wanting to hear about them is the worst flaw
the second bird is mastermind behind of it all.
You're forgetting big bird was killing even children lost in the forest, thinking it was saving them, and the small one was brutally punishing anyone it thought did wrong.
this makes even more sense if we think about how the three birds stand for the head, the eye, and the claw.

I didn't get a good view of apocalypse bird so I looked them up... that thing is nightmare fuel, like most things in this game XD if half of these didnt kill things in sight and spoke english (interesting enough the birds do but half of the humanoids dont) I would love to sit down and have a conversation with them... at least the birds seem reasonable enough...

If you want a very good view of it, there is a VRchat map where a few abnormalities appear and this bird is one of them. Imagine sitting in a bus, wondering why so many of the props look familiar, then it enter a biome named "black forest" and you slowly realise it's a LC inspired map and what's coming next... xD

The apocalypse bird story :
A long time ago, in a warm and dense forest lived three happy birds.
The birds had no names, but creatures in the forest called them Big Bird, Long Bird, and Little Bird.
Everyone lived freely and happily together in the forest in peace. The birds wanted the forest to be safe more than anyone.
so creatures from outside can come and visit to have fun.
It was a warm and sunny afternoon when a stranger visited the peaceful forest. He was a traveler, pioneer and prophet, but at the same time, he was nothing. He wanted to come into the forest, but the birds didn't let him because they found him suspicious. The stranger, angered, told the birds as he left.
"Tragedies will come to this forest soon. It will be tainted with sins and evil, and fights will never stop. Tragedies will stop once a terrible monster devours everything. The sun and moon will shine upon you no long; the forest will never go back to what it was before."
The birds became worried because of this prophecy. What if fights never stop, and a terrible monster devours everything as he said? The birds decided to become sentinels of the forest. They loved this forest, so they wanted to protect the creatures living in it and keep the peace.
Big Bird, with his many eyes, watched over the forest to seek trespassers. Big Bird's eyes can see very far and things we can't see. Then somebody said, "But what should we do if the monster comes in a night when everyone's asleep?", Big Bird became worried, so he burned all of his feathers to make an everlasting lantern. Now, creatures in the forest were under Big Bird's watch day and night.
Long Bird weighed the sins of the creatures that enter the forest to keep peace. Long Bird's scales could mesure every sins, and were fair and just. Then somebody said, "But what should we do if the scales don't tip to any direction?", Long Bird became worried, so he made scales that tip to only one direction so he can get the result under any situation.
Little Bird decided to punish bad creatures with his beak. Then somebody said, "But your beak is so small, no one would find it painful!", Little Bird became worried, so he split his mouth to make it big enough to devour any creature in one bite.
No one wanted to visit the forest anymore. Bad rumours about the forest started spreading outside, "Whoever enters that forest ends up in a terrible situation!" "No creatures is free because Big Bird is watching them all the time." "Long Bird's scales are not fair at all." "Little Bird's punishement was scary"
The birds were angry. Why would they spread rumors like that when they were working hard to protect the forest?
Fewer and fewer visitors came to the forest, creatures were complaining, fights broke out daily, and the birds worked even harder to make the forest peaceful again.
"This forest is too big and wide to protect with only three of us."
"But there is no creature who can protect this forest but us."
"If we can merge our strenght together, we might become stronger."
The day when Big Bird's eyes that can see hundreds of kilometers away, Long Bird who can judge any sin, and Little Bird's mouth that can devour everything merged together, darkness fell upon the forest. Creatures screamed in fear at the sight of the bird, the forest fell into chaos soon.
In chaotic cries of fear, somebody shouted.
"It's the monster! Big terrible monster lives in the dark, black forest!"
Monster? Three birds, now as one, looked around to find the monster but couldn't find it. The bird started looking for a monster, wandering the forest. It's dangerous if the monster is in the forest.
But there was nothing. There were no creatures, no sun and no moon, and no monster. All that is left is just a bird, and a black forest.
Only cold, dark night continued from then.
Rumors say, there is a terrible monster in the black forest, where no one lives. . . . . .

Apocalypse bird is the saddest abnormally. It Is the definition of the path to hell is paved on good intentions. They wanted to stop the apocalypse but they caused it and we're none the wiser. Ironic but sad. I can't tell if apocalypse bird is the worst or the best because they hurt simply from existing. in sorry apocalypse bird. you tried when nobody else would. But you became what you hated.
It doesn't help that in the legacy version, Judgement Bird actually figured out who the beast really was. If the final observation was any indication, he didn't take this revelation well.

I actually just beat him as if nothing even though it was more of a test run to see what I was up against (which is ironic, because he drops one of the strongest weapons in the game).
Honestly he's barely a challenge once most of your employees have Aleph-WAW EGO gear tier. All you have to do is move your employees to a safe room, divide them according to their weapon damage type in 3 groups, and that's it; you only need to move your employees away from Apocalypse when he spawns on top of the eggs to make sure he doesn't kill them.
I think his difficulty depends on which abnormalities you picked though. For me it was day 24 and I only had La Luna and Knight of Despair as the highest level abnormalities on my facility (WAW); everything else was TETH/HE and half of them couldn't even breach.
Apocalypse Bird and Whitenight are like An Arbiter and Red Mist.
The former ones are more about management, so the worse stuff you host the worse it gets.
The latter ones are harder fights, but they don't do anything to your facility.
Apocalypse bird can be really freaking hard when you aren't prepared to fight it, the bad part is that once you host three birds, two have very easy breakout conditions making this really painful.
Imo the easiest aleph is SO. I never had a single death while suppressing it.

@@sharknado2724 nah it does, the twilight is immune to ragdoll but not immune to knockback, that means stuff like sugarcoat wont work on them but wand or any knockback does

The big bird made a lamp that could work forever but without its feathers the rest of the forest fell into darkness, small bird opened its throat so it could eat anyone in one go but without it the bird had no voice to warn, the middle bird gave its beak to the small bird so it could punish better and its eyes to the big bird so it could see better and now it could weigh any sin but it left it with unfair scales and no way to tell, and so there was a bird that could see everyone but couldn't tell who it was, a bird who could punish but couldn't do it accordingly and a bird who could judge but couldn't see it's judgment was unfair and no monster in the forrest..... Besides them.
