    The amount of info on CZcams is ridiculous. Because of folks like WTW sharing their knowledge, I've learned a ton! Shot 22lr to 200 yards for the first time recently. All I had to do was ask the question to one of the channels, gave me the info, dialed the scope, and first pull, first hit! Thanks to all you guys for sharing the info!❤❤❤

      Subsonic 22 at 200 is such a vibe, I hold over, so noticing that little bullet flying it's heart out for a fraction of a second when the sun hits it right is awesome.

      The most common rifle cartridge on the planet vs a one-trick-pony. Not much of a choice for me when Hornady is loading a subsonic hunting load.

      @@dbmail545 its #3 most common, but yah I like it lol. I do like .300 blackout as well though.. it is easier to get good brass and fun to shoot.

    I started with .223's, and switched over to 300blkout, whisper at the time, and never looked back. For a super quiet 300 yard pistol it's hard to beat. Now there's 4 of them in various configurations.

    Since I bought a .300AAC upper for my daughter to hunt with, I have become a huge fan of it. Mild recoil, much more forgiving if she hits the shoulder and devastating results. I use it myself depending on the situation.

    I used to be MOA only but my latest is mil. I’ve decided to be able to use both equally well just in case. I shoot targets only but liked the MOA for the .25 “ vs .36”/click @ 100yd. Longer ranges have less dialing and faster adjustment for mil though. Great videos wow.👍👍

    Well now this is a interesting video and a very interesting comparison. I own and shoot the 300 blackout and with a subsonic it is super quiet with my banish 30 suppressor. However, after that being said, I really don't have a lot of good things to say about the 300 blackout because I think it just falls short in too many areas. I personally would rather shoot the 762x39 round. I feel like my 223 outshines the 300 blackout in every area except for quiet.

    • @TheCodyO
      @TheCodyO Před 25 dny

      What about bullet selection? If you were hunting deer would you rather a .223? I wouldn’t. .300 blackout is a fun round.. may not be a 7.62x39 but it has a place 😁

    Buy your 350 Legend scopes with 300 Blk reticles, they line up very close at ranges they should be used. In a straight wall state, 300 Blk is pointless IMO.

    11:48 I love that comment, thank you. I would say 300 blackout Sig Rattler for 0-150 max. HK MR556 0-400 max. If you want to kill deer with sub sonic stuff using PCC's like "Škorpion vz. 61" in 32 acp or other such stuff you have to deer hunt in Alaska. The deer are small and the limit is 5 deer in a day, but ALWAYS carry a "375 H&H magnum or 457 Wildwest lever magnum or 3006" for bear back up not a 10mm glock 20. Thank you for the video. It's very informative and easy to understand these 2 calibers limitations and such.

    I’ve never taken a deer with either of them, I’m not very convinced by the 223 tho, my buddies little sister has made some good shots on deer with the 223 at various ranges and it’s not a very convincing kill, I just got a 300 blackout so I’d like to try it out, but anything over 200 yards (very possible where I hunt) and I’ll be wanting a bigger gun.

    Hoping that eye heals up nice and fast. 🤕
    I have had several optics fail, sometimes due to user error, other times mount or internal workings failed. All of my scopes are MOA, but the calculators I use have both MOA and MIL. I have yet to try those charts out, my ranges are fairly short, but it would be interesting to check it out.
    Unless the "irons" are fixed AND an integral part of the frame, they too can fail. I had the front sight blade break off a Charter Arms snubby. There is no unbreakable mechanism.
    I agree mostly with your subsonic assessment, but I still plan of using a subsonic 350 Legend on a hog or deer. 45ACP is generally subsonic, and a 150 pound hog died pretty quickly with a 230 grain hollowpoint.

    LOL!! Nerdy?? I will never own a 223. The 223 doesn't have enough mass to stop a coyote. The 300 AAC is great for deer hunting. The red dot sight is great for people that learned to shoot with both eyes on the target. The scope is slow and great for targets that have no idea you are there. Have you learned to change eye dominance from left to right to both? It takes a little time, but it freaks out instructors when you show off!
