I imagine that this challenge would be a lot harder for Hatless if you actually couldn't name your faction "Your Faction Name Here"
If I can't name my faction in less than a second, I would get massively nerfed
Less content and less theorycrafting.
Not to mention, "your faction name here" is the most powerful name for a faction anyways. It exerts dominance

After '40 and the initial German invasion it gets fairly easy to hold. I still have to give it a go with governments in exile and not relying on the AI to guard my borders.

I've actually done this one myself, long time ago. I think it was easier back then though. I didn't form anything from it, but merely survived, which I thought was a worthy challenge in and of itself lol

Today I learned after 3.5k hours it matters on the provence you choose when justifying
HOI4 is a continued learning experience
Imagine your doing so well you’ve defeated poland France and destroyed the british army but you can’t seem to annex the tiny landlocked nation of Luxemburg who seems to still get supplies despite being landlocked by the axis
I also enjoyed the thought of hundreds of thousands of Indians being smuggled into the nation 🤣
Only tried the challenge once and it was painful, but amazing video.
I think it takes a few tries to really get into the swing of things with it.
Would love to see you do a video on it!

Hey hatless great video, how do you find most of these exploits do you go looking for them specifically or do you just happen upon them whilst playing?
It depends. A lot of times I find tgem while trying to achieve something specific. In this case I needed manpower as luxembourg and there are very few ways to get it as a democracy

Lol well you can continue the dissolve faction trick with many more democratic and non-aligned nations. That's what I was referring to
Actually in my more recent game, i allowed USA to defeat mexico, then, panama, costa rica, colombia, etc. Etc.
Each defeat grew my factory count 😆

Not sure if the AI would also click the decision for 25 pp to get 1 extra civ and 1 extra mil as well or not, but France's exile factories alone is like 10 to 15
Near the beginning, wouldn’t it be better to have one larger unit? I thought that anything below 15 combat width suffered a penalty
1 unit double the size could probably work.
I felt this size was good though for allowing a push into Saarbrucken faster

I tried communist Luxembourg with weekly manpower buff, but Germans easily beat me, I had level 10 fort, level 5 anti-air and max entrenchment bonuses, I guess its because I was encircled

So you are going to get USA into your faction after this and use them as your sledgehammer?
If you do the coup in British Raj, I haven't found a way to get them as well. Even with a guarantee of the Phillipines.
It might still be doable, but would be difficult for sure. Indian manpower can replace them though, and then you can use your own templates which are better than what USA would create
I don't understand, I followed pretty much the same steps as you, yet when Germany attacks me they kill my divisions within minutes.
Try following the step-by-step guideline that i put in the description.
I wrote out every detail of what focuses, research, decisions, and production to do

Not super common, no, but it can happen under the right circumstances

Why is the stability of India so low that you can start the coup with them being at peace?
I've tried it multiple times now and they never drop below 50%
You have to lower their stability with the spy mission

why do you kick the nations from the faction after they fall to germany?
Well i wasn't actually kicking them, but rather deleting the faction so that i could create new factions faster than normal.
And I was getting the daily manpower and factories from them even without having them in my faction
@@hatless_spider why bother creating new factions? just invite people to that current faction
@Quichrlyn you can't, thre are completely different modifiers for creating a faction vs inviting to a faction. Creating a faction is easier

Ok i need help with a save im trying to do a hasburger world conquest im stuck at the uk they have about 1k ships when combined with the US i have 9 ships and about 2.7k aircraft i cant reach them it's 1943 and im just suffering

Try to do a paradrop if you can get air superiority, then transport troops over the channel

if you can get china to your faction you can also get a lot menpower , but india is interesting pick too , problem with china is a lot things have to go right , and im not as skilled at these things you done at video
I actually did try with China, but their stab and war support remains too high to coup them. And we can't properly faction them before the war with japan kicks off as well
