This fixed my F-350 diesel, the Bulldog remote start system did not work when I bought the truck 6 mos ago. I unplugged it and cycled it as per your instructions from start to finish. This fixed it. Thanks from north of the 49th!!
Wow, just wow. Thank you. I programmed second key fob. My second old key fob was not working. I got new, watched million other videos but didn’t work until seeing your video. Really thank you. I just pressed the brake, pushed the lock button on the working key for 5 seconds and released my finger and after I pushed button on my new key fob while my foot still pressing the brake down and it worked. It is maybe a small step for you but it is a giant help for people. Thank you. I wish you would make a video how to program new chipped key and key fob for 2000 jetta golf car.
Hi got a question for ya, I just changed the battery in my remote (TX2BD) and the thing doesn't work anymore I don't have 2 remotes just this one. Do you need to reprogram the remote each time you change the battery ? and how can I reprogram this one only ? do I need to do the 5 times shut off with brakes on like you said and unplug all the wiring ? just to change a battery in the remote ? Thanks
Hi, i have the same model with built in by pass and the parking lights dont come on and fails to start completely due to the passlock 2 on my 04 cavalier. can you help me out? i called the hotline for BD but the one man operation is useless and doesnt seem to know anything about this model. My bull dog remote has always worked good, weather got colder and I found out it no longer works. I tried what you showed in video but I get nothing, checked power to unit, checked switch under hood, even check all fuses and also put in new battery in transmitter. When I tried to reset unit I got nothing, no sound or flashing light. Tried resetting transmitter and also nothing, what do u think is wrong? Do I maybe need a new transmitter, how do I find out if mine is bad?
I’ve got old bulldog brain installed by previous owner on used Ford ranger. I lost the key fob with start and stop buttons, can I buy a generic key fob on Amazon and link it to the pre-existing bulldog brain that’s already installed in the truck? Thanks.
Not sure if you still answer comments but I got a 4 button remote, put the truck in programming mode then unplugged the module and after plugging it back in it is now clicking from the box and from my truck like there's a key in the ignition with no key. And it's a continuous click. I'm assuming I need a two button remote?
It actually did program but didn't do anything to acknowledge the programming. I just happened to try to start it as I was walking away after buttoning it up and it worked. Strange haha
well I tried what you said in this video and now all it does is making the 4 ways flash and the remote with knew battery is still not working I had to unplugged the whole thing so the lights will stop flashing .
So I am not seeing the list of which cars this unit works on. I went to the bulldog website, nothing. So I have a Buick 07 LaCrosse, I would really like to not have to go pay $100 to replace a remote!
Tried doing what u said soon as I plugged everything back in the unit just non stop clicking and truck interior dings non stop and dash cluster lights glitchy, I'm lost, unhooked the unit , any help would be appreciated Tia
find the blue black wire and add 12 volts hold down the brake then press any button on your remote and clicking should stop and remote should work the clicking and lights mean the box is in safety mode
I have a 2013 honda ridgeline. I tried the 5 on off and disconnected the battery instead of pulling all the wires. All the same this did not work for me. The valet switch was not installed. Can you give me another way of trying to add a new fob??

Hi i have a bulldog 500 install in my truck, but after a year it dos not work any more, when i try to star the truck its sound like it will but in the next 30 seconds the engine will die. Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
How do you reprogram it for keys with transponders? I just had a key made for my new (used) truck with this installed. The remote start worked before and now the locksmith refuses to help. There must be a bypass of some kind that is still programmed for the old transponder key. How can I make it bypass for the new keys?
The reason the remote start no longer works is because my truck has a transponder on the ignition. The way this works is by taking a previously programmed key and hiding it under the dash in a transponder bypass. Be certain to get the hidden key out to be programmed when having new ones made.

It's in safety mode bulldog has a way to fix it on their website
