They told the railroad to stop blowing the horns because of the explosion in the birth rate. Too early to get up, but too late to go back to sleep.
They should switch the ditch lights to flashing and use the hell out of the engine bell.
Agreed💯...wig wags ditch lights more effective than steady burn, seen LED ditch lights and no dwell time made them even more effective
Accident? Sue the city.
You're the reason why ladders need fall warnings.
HOA at its finest
Wow 😮
What honky tonk town is this
Guess that city is just looking for an accident to happen. WHY ELSE would they do something this stupid?
How to become an anti train nimby. As seen in towns across America.
Step 1 ban train horns
Step 2 ignore basic driving safety and pay no attention to warning signs about railroad crossing
Step 3 complain that the big mean train keeps running down cars
Step 4 Lobby to remove railroad.
Step 5 Be a NIMBY PITA for the rest of your life.
Yeah then someone gets hit somehow and then the family of said individual sues for wrongful death and gets rewarded despite the towns own NO TRAIN HORN POLICY!!
In Europe the trains are always silent. It works fine.
I wish we could implement that policy here where I live. I love to hear the horns, but not when I need my rest. 😂
Not to sound mean, but chances are, the railroad was there first. So if one doesn't like the noise, why would someone move anywhere near there?

Did you notice the emoji laughing face? Chill bro!
@@harveypeters9015 yes. That is why I didn't try to direct the comment directly to you. But tried to make it a general comment for those who really want that law in their neighborhood. I didn't mean to upset you personally.
@earlschmitt884
No harm, no foul.
Your comment is a valid one.
Misunderstandings are always better dealt with through dialogue. Blessings.
@@harveypeters9015 That is one of the downfalls of text and emails. They are so impersonal and misleading at times. Phone calls and face to face are always best.
God bless you as He does me, every day!!!
This is crazy No horn no cross bars omg
No gates always means "red means go".
Train is moving like 2 mph and y’all think people getting run over by the train in this town 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
It's day. At night they fly. In Eugene ppl get hit all the time in the Whitaker neighborhood.
The train should still blow the horn.
The train should be able to use it's horn for every other crossing in these case. Because there are a lot of street crossing in a close Proximity . Federal regulations a train has to use its horn three times before it crosses one long one short one long. Unless a town like this one gets an Ordinance
No horn. In that case the train should use it's bell.
No horns or gates. Smh
Yeah, dude. People are crazy like that these days.
No horns : its your Funeral...😊
The speed limit for the train must be about twenty miles an hour
Too many crossings to begin with.
Where is this?
Iron Mountain, MI
@@user-gm9he1os5oI’ve lived in Michigan, my entire life (47yo) and have never been to the UP.
That is just wrong
Although the german railsystem has seen better days: THESE tracks look pretty lousy. Are those telegraph lines along the track still in use.
Is this Eugene?
No. It is Iron Mountain, Michigan. Which is in the Upper Peninsula(UP, Yooper) region.
