  • This is the inaugural episode of First Drive with Albert Schwartz.
    The vehicle provided is located in Erie, Pennsylvania and is currently located at Pennant Motors.
    This low mileage example is incredible. Albert takes you through every corner of the vehicle with a full walk around and lets you experience this rare vehicle.
    Albert has been making videos for an internet audience prior to CZcams as early as 2002. He is quickly gathering equipment to make every video better than the last and eventually into a higher quality production so please stay tuned and stay awhile.
    A higher quality microphone (Used a PS4 mic lol) and tripod have already been ordered. Sorry for the echoes...

    I had a 1984 Indy Fiero. I traded it in on a 1988 Fiero GT. The 88 is awesome and the 84 was horrible. I also had a 1986 2m6. It had the garbage auto transmission the horrible suspension and brakes.

    Not a bad start, but please edit the next one down a lot more. I hate sitting at red lights!

    For your information & continuing success, learn camera techniques & videography. Failure to do so will always make for few views as the videos appear very amatuer in camera skills.

      @@albert_alby No, I don't shoot videos for public consumption, but I am aware of techniques of videography & photography. There are countless tutorials available...a simple observation might bring things into focus. The general public with all these cameras do not take "pictures", they create images, two completely different things.
      Some simple constructive observations if you'd like in your instance as a shot video, first and foremost is the usage of the obligitory "wide-angle" lens. This is by far the most common mistake as it were, the GoPro type lenses are almost unusable in many circumstances. The "field of veiw " of these lenses is far removed from what the human being sees with their eyes...measured in millimeters, a camera lens that approximates human vision is at some 50-55mm, below that value becomes the wide-angle, above that, the zoom, or "long lens"". Human vision is tricky, sometimes we like to take it all in, hence, the wide-angle...but this can be deceptive & inappropriate for many scenes. For the videographer, switching back & forth from wide to "normal" vision can be very time consuming & tiring. Second observation is the "Look at that!" style shooting, the frantic swinging around of a camera to a point of interest, not so much in your example. Pacing of a shoot is typical wrong & common, a prime example is the "panoramic" shot...often shot way too quickly...slow down, slow way way down, let the audience take it in...
      Rewatch you video at half speed & you might notice the difference....also, either try to hold the camera more steady or engage some stabilization effects if it is available...these few techniques will make for a better video presentation.

    Don't care about the mudflaps. Like the speakers in the headrests though.

    You need to invest in a 3-axis image stabilizer and a better microphone. Too much image jitter and you sound like you are in the next room. And ditch the background music too. Finally, reduce the amount of time spent videoing the exterior of the vehicle, it brings back bad memories of the first Star Trek movie where they spent 5 minutes going in circles around the new Enterprise. Good luck with your new CZcams channel.

      McQuillen's Chevrolet Buick GMC in Girard, PA currently owns the vehicle. It currently resides in their showroom.

    Makes me miss my white one.... but dang rip off the cheap pinstriping off the tail lights! Gag... PS.... invest in a real mic and ditch the cheesy music. Crap, not usually this negative. Thanks for the trip down memory road

    sounds like a bad exhaust leak...

    • @albert_alby
      @albert_alby  Před 5 lety +1

      They have one of the loudest factory exhausts in existence. 2M6's were the best. Unfortunately by the time they figured everything out they were discontinued. Hopefully a C8 mid-engine Corvette will bring this kind of vehicle back into the market.
