    Bob is an icon, from his days at The Hockey News to the Bobcast, a great ride. The Svoboda draft stayed with me, the kid looked about 16 and in need of a few good meals. Thanks guys, great show.

    I've seen Celebrini live in the USHL with the Chicago Steel. He is way more like Jonathan Toews than Crosby. As a prospect, Crosby wasn't the 2 way complete player that Celebrini is. Crosby was an explosive offensive force as a prospect that Celebrini is not. Toews as a prospect was a 2 way complete player that had no holes in his game, could do everything on the ice well and at pace, but didn't have the offensive game that Crosby had. Celebrini is literally built closer to Toews than Crosby as well; upright, lean. Crosby was a little bowling ball.

    Well done fellas! I have been a regular viewer for awhile now. I listen to your podcast when walking my dog. I hope the habs win the draft lottery to draft Celly. If not, id love to see Lindstrom or Catton in a habs jersey. This is such a D heavy draft , I wish we drafted Michkov last year and took one of the right D this year. Demidov would be a great fit too, but I doubt he’s around when we pick

      Likely HuGo thought that they would do much better this season, so they drafted a right-D for needs in 2023 since they did not expect to draft top 10 again at the 2024 entry draft; but serious injuries to Dach and Newhook set things backwards. Indeed, they could even get a better defenseman than Reinbacher at the 2024 draft. Lindstrom will be a top 4 pick, Catton will likely be available to Montreal but might not be the best player available, a defenseman could be like Zayne Parekh or Sam Dickinson !!!

    Some of these guys who play center in juniors could get moved to the wing in the NHL. Catton for instance

    • @powers1500
      @powers1500 Před 4 měsíci

      Indeed, Catton is 5'11", 170 lbs...so he is not that big 1C Montreal has been looking for; but he should be about the same size as Suzuki when he will be in the NHL...at 20 - 25 years old !!!
