- This was an idea I had for the longest time. I can't believe I actually made it (somewhat) work. This is also the longest I have ever spent on making any level. It took over 18 hours.

That sure is how coding works. I distinctly remember programming some lights, I put in one variable, and it just kind of "randomized" everything, somehow. It looked super cool. I know what variables and lines affect what parts of the animation, but I have no idea how it actually works.
On Twitch, this was more than *13 hours* long. It is an absolute *masterpiece* that John Lima managed to make this video below *one hour* long. 👏🏻👏🏻

Actually the recorded time stamp shows that the clips are mixed around, the shaved is 10 hrs in, before that it's 8.2 then just under 8hours when it's back.

Having no choice=rock is so genius, as that is basically how it works in real life. When you choose rock you keep your hand in the same way, and will also be the case if you count wrong for whatever reason. So yeah. Fits good

Your chime "time's running out" sound effect is great, but I feel like the level's conveyance would be just a little bit better if it happened sooner in the cycle (and if the On/Off Switch got hit on-beat). If you update the course I'd like to see this tweaked :)

@@charmanderfan1 it's been apmost a year since i watched this video, but I'm pretty sure panga messed up and reversed the order of rock paper scissors and scissors ends up beating rock and nothing while only losing to paper
Actually nah I looked at it real quick and the order gets fixed for the final version, but check the matchup chart. Normal rock papaer scissors is balanced. With the option of nothing scissors and paper gain a favorable matchup while rock gains a losing matchup. So paper and scissors are 2-1-1 a piece while rock is 1-1-2. Scissord beats paper so it wins the tie breaker as strongest.
Around 19:52 when zoomed out and showed the entire mechanism so far I was like "Ohh lward!"

One way to improve this level is to have one of the options destroy the shellmet. Because then when you don't pick anything you for example will always be picking rock as rock maybe destroys the shellmet anyway. Also it'll greatly reduce complexity. It's like representing rock as 00 paper as 01 and scissors as 10

Panga is the Einstein of SMM2
My idea is separate pipes leading to two different areas out of view of each other. They then pick one of three doors, each labeled paper, rock, or scissors. Each leads to a floor vulnerability to possibly drop in a pit (p switch blocks, on/off switch blocks, and ice blocks, or bombable blocks) ,and each also auto triggers a twomp that triggers the attack on the other choice (on/off trigger, p-switch trigger, fire, or bombs). You win if your attack kills your opponent. You lose if your opponent attacks you. A tie would be neither die. You could make it 4 players. The game can't start until all players are far enough in a direction (through a one way gate) to lock in their choice, before the triggers are allowed to happen.
This is beyond 5head. This is actually insane

What time zone do you post in because I always see you post at 5am and I live in Houston Texas CT central time
Really cool. With the option of "No choice," the game becomes equivalent to something called "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Well", where Well beats Scissors and Rock (they get tossed into the Well), but Paper covers the Well. You can reinterpret your options as follows:
No Choice = Rock
Top = Scissors
Middle = Paper
Bottom = Well
This might give someone the impression that Top is worse than Middle or Bottom, since Top loses to 2/3 options, and the others win against 2/3 options.
The cool thing is that 'No Choice' is dominated by choosing 'Bottom'--No matter what your opponent does, you never hurt yourself by choosing Bottom instead of 'No Choice'. But then if you assume no one would choose 'No Choice' (they should just choose Bottom instead), then the game becomes equivalent to regular old Rock, Paper, Scissors (er, Scissors, Paper, Well) and all of Top/Middle/Bottom are on equal footing.
But as you say, it's a cool "Psych out" effect to have the fourth option there. Makes people think about things differently.
