Tbh you didn't have to take back your statement, controller preference is something that's very objective, different people with different hand sizes will prefer one over the other... Someone who prefers ds may be more comfortable with it. Another may prefer parallel joystick alignment over the offset sticks on the Xbox and its fine.

Although PS 4 is overall better than XBOX one,XBOX wins the controller battle.
(No discrimination even after being a PS 4 user.)
I like dual shock for 1 simple reason. Both the joysticks are in same position. Unlike the xbox controller. DS4 joysticks are very sensitive and response with rubber grip. I liked it a lot. Trackpad for tying is very useless. Yet I enjoyed the controller and the vibration. Hopefully, its the same with xbox one.

light in ps4 controller consumes almost zero power, its like a penny from million dollar.
access to R2/L2 is very easy in ps4 controller but it is very difficult to access LT/RT on xbox controller.
PS4 controller is extremely comfortable as compared to xobx. I can play with ps4 controller many hours but xbox controller tired your hands in couple of hours like handcuff.
