Even if it's not on our (very concise) list...what is your favourite bike park to ride at!?
Let us know down here đ đ
Global Mountain Bike Network Leogang is one of the bests
Bike park Ireland in tipperary
Do one for the UK this was a sick video
Ă re bike park in sweden is a very very good bikepark Iâve been to. and itâs even have a chairlift and over 50 different trails from green to black and a âĂ re bike festivalâ in the middle of the summer. Search Ă re bike festival 2017 on youtube.
Leogang too
We are so proud of being on the video, thank you so much guys!
Port du soleil... its sooooo Big and cheap. Ten Bikeparkdays for 140⏠and it has to over many bikeparks ... Les gets, Chatel,Morzine, Pleney, champery... every Bikepark was unique. At the end of the season, some trails are pretty bombed out but its still worth it
happy to see someone mention it ! it's the best place in the world !! mostly because it is so huuuge !
Hey Martyn Iâm from Rotorua, New Zealand and the first couple clips arenât actually from skyline bike park, that is actually a jump line in the Whakarewarewa forest not to far away. Whakarewarewa has a lot more trails about 131km of pure dirt gold!
the Redwoods are so amazing just the jumpline sucks
Anton Stamm Old jump line or the newly rebuilt line after the logging last year?
When I saw that it thought that it wasnât it
Couldn't agree more. Skyline is fun for a little bit but the real fun is over in Whakarewarewa just a few km away on the other side of town which also has a shuttle uplift. Good to see Crankworx Rotorua doing more events over there this year.
Yeah the skyline rotorua is tiny but still fun to ride but prefer queenstown
THREDBO in NSW Australia đŠđș how could you miss that!!!!
Maydena Mountian bike park brand new park that is changing the sport in Tasmania with 800 meters of vertical descent to play on and is built by dirt art.
whitt I agree and Thredbo is good to
I can't wait to hit Blue Derby again but Maydena is way closer to me, not done it yet though.
Do the top 5 in the UK aswell
Maydena Bike park in Tasmania. Absolutely incredible.
For me Portes du Soleil, 12 bikeparks all together you can access by lift paying the same ticket. For me is unbeatable!all bike parks mentioned together on that list are a tiny part of Portes du Soleil The weather maybe is weird but it worth it.
Revolution Bike Parkđ€đ€
SilverStar BC. It's essentially Whistler but without any crowds. Perfect trails
Lovely list! đ
My favorites so far:
Ă re (Sweden)
PdS (Portes du soleil incl ChĂątel, Les Gets, Morzine & Morgins)
GeiĂkopf (Germany) where the famous Flow Country trail is)
SpiÄak (Czech Republik)
&
Schulenberg (also Germany) where it feels more like riding with family as showing off the gear!
But Black Mountain Bikepark and Kamploops are also on top of my still very long to-do-list đ
funny thing is first half from the footage of skyline Rotorua is not even from the bike park it is from the dodzy skill park. But the bike park is fun and the trails in the Redwoods are amazing. I think Queenstown and Hafjell are missing
Anton Stamm yea i was just about to say that đ€Łđ€Ł
Maydena bike park is new but is for sure up there come down for a visit!
My favourite trail is Whinlatter's Red trail, south loop in Cumbria. The baptism of fire 7 years ago, it was my first MTB day out and I got air! The trail has been improved year on year, its still my fav. Love you Whinlatter!
Great video - can you do top 5 bike parks in the U.K. Please ?
bitmoji?
BPW
Revolution
Windhill
Chicksands
Rogate
1 dyfi
2 Revo
3 windhill
4 417
5 bpw
Top 5 in the U.K. Would be great!
Might be good for tourism too.
Would be cool if you did behind the scenes at a bike park, so people can really appreciate the work that goes in constantly
Great video guys, have ridden skyline and loved it, but just rode the new maydena bike park here in Tasmania yesterday and was blown away by it. It will definitely end up in your future top 5.
Portes du soleil as a whole
Highland MTB park in New Hampshire!
I like Frisco bike park in Frisco Colorado because it has some sweet slope style features, dirt jumps, and a sick skatepark
Great info 4 sure
Maydena bike park in Tasmania. Its brand new (about a week old) and is said to be as good if not better than new zealand.
Favourite I've been to is Mt Baldy, Atherton Tablelands, Australia. It has so many trails for everyone with some great views
Amazing video.
Has to be revolution bike park for me! The atmosphere and the scenery is amazing and the trails just get better and better with every visit
It should be noted that Ray from Ray's bike park took a hard fall and really messed up his spine. He had a GoFundMe page set up.
www.gofundme.com/RayPetro
Hi GMBN,check out Maydena bike park in Tasmania,Australia.you guys have heard of Derby (EWS 2017) well Maydena is the next step up from there đđđ»
Darren Walters Iâm up in Qld, but Maydena is definitely next place Iâm going. đ€
Iâm going to derby tomorrow so but after Iâll head to maydena
Maydena bike park in Tasmania, think derby from the EWS, after skulling a couple of red bulls and ya have Maydena
Hey guys, my name is Mark Rutter, and I love the show! You mentioned not ever riding in Florida. In Ocala we have a massive trail system with over 100k of trails. We have red(double black diamond) and yellow(beginner) trails as well. There are drops up to 30ft, a massive jump line, pump track, and skills park. We have 5 local shops and a large helpful cycling community. Plenty of coffee shops and beer on top of all that with only an hour or so to get to the beach. You should come check it out whenever it might be able to fall on your schedule. I recommend around fat tire festival in March.
Great video !! More bike park video !! May be a video of best bike park in alps or best in Scandinavia, or england or south europe :)
Panorama! I love this park because of all the awesome worldcup downhill trails and itâs where the next generation is starting !
I think I would put Silver Star in Vernon, BC up there. It's the second best bike park in Canada after Whistler. Big, variety of trails (tech and jump) plus access to pedal network.
Angel Fire in the USA. The first park I ever went to, always a blast.
You should head to the maydena bike park here in Tasmania it just opened up
sick video you should definitely come and ride tidworth freeride in the summer its sick!!!
Believe it or not the east coast USA has some really great parks, alot different than uk or west coast, much more technical and tight, and the steepest stuff you've ever seen, Killington, Highland, Burke mountain, Sugarbush all insane
Mottolino in Livigno!!! Came here Martin!
Danj teodorosi paganella is awesome too...
I'd put Spirit Mountain in Duluth, Minnesota on the list. Great trails with lift service. Close to town for post ride munchies and beautiful views as well. Honorable mention goes to Detroit Mountain in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Small mountain but tons of fun. Plus it's minutes from my house.
Trestle Winter Park, CO
Do one for the UK this was a great video
good that mart wales it is then and then of to geba in south africa!!! god glad im back on a bike.
Good video and Hallo from Greece
BikePark HĂŒrtgenwald! Kinda small but, awesome Trails and very cool People!
Redwoods Rotorua New Zealand is my favourite place to ride it's got everything from flow tracks to steep downhill to massive jump lines and technical singletrack and something like 200km of tracks total (I might be wrong on that last bit but it's amazing)
Bikepark Beerfelden (2h by train from where I live, it's super rad), Bikepark GroĂer Feldberg; now this one is still under construction but it has three official trails ready to ride and the best thing? It's free. And the area, the Taunus Mountains in Germany, they're full of amazing single-track and some amazing, bikepark like but veeerryy challenging trails. Come and visit, you'll love it!!
If you're coming to Rotorua, you must also visit Whakarewarewa/Redwoods too. For a Brit who's moved to NZ, there's no better. Meet for a beer too; miss the British banter and love the website
derby in tassie
I've seen Louisville Mega Cavern Bike Park in Phil Kmetz videos, I think that is unreal place for riding!
leogang in austria. big amount of different trails and great views
Trestle bike park in Colorado! They are the largest in the US, I believe, and have some of the best lift accessed trails anywhere
Rostrevoiur in Co. Down is an amazing bike park Everything from jump park to downhill tracks and natural tracks 19km red loop that will test the fittest
Marc Darr Agreed, red loop is great, but the climb to the top is hard work
I live in Rotorua! The trails are awesome
If you ever do get to Rotorua, you need to go the Redwoods/Whakarewarewa forest.
Whilst there is little in the way of shuttles to get up the hills, the single track riding is awesome!
highland mountain bike park, Nicholie Rogatkin ultimate training camp
My favourite trail is sixtapod at bpw because it flows and has a red run off of it when is just drops and it's really fun
I went to Rays indoor MTB a couple of years ago and had a fantastic time there. Iâve never ridden anything like it Great bunch of guys! We need one in the U.K. !!!!
There's bike park wale
Only ever been to llandegla & Cannock lol, most of my trails are natural, love the Peak District too đ
My favourite bikepark is bikepark leogang because it's my local park and the trails are so sick
FREESKIER AND DOWNHILLER for life I went there on holiday
But badly maintained
aller ich bin so neidisch wir fahren da immer in den Ferien hin ....Pfingsten bin ich da ...aber 16 Stunden Autofahrt
I might go there this summer. Is it mostly for downhill or are there good AM-trails around as well? Might be bringing my roadbike as well, do you know if there any nice spots for that, what's the traffic like?
Afan bike park is sick aswell even thought itâs not the biggest and best place but itâs a great place to practice and progress also itâs got lots of different trails and you can find lots of good trails from the park
Yeah Martin totally agree best trail I've ever ridden (Terry's belly)
Itâs not particularly a bike park but the whole les gets/ morzine area is incredible
Blue Derby!!
Consider myself super lucky to live within an hours distance of Bike Park Wales, Forest of Dean and Cwmcarn, Afan Forest is just little further out. South Wales is one big bike park haha!
My favourite bike park is chicksands bike park because it has so many different tracks e.g. 4X, duel slalom and many more dh tracks
Im a local to Windhill b1kepark and its flippin amazingđ€
Chatel bikepark
My personal fave is Killington, but it closes in the winter for skiing.
Hey Martin, when you come to ride Skyline allow another couple of days so you can properly check out the Redwoods tracks across town.
I love Snow Summit bike park in Big bear, CA, USA - as well as Skypark at Santa's village (yes, that is really what it's called)
When u talked about skyline, u were actually showing the dods skills park at the whakarewarewa or redwoods forest in the beginning of the video. Well its still in Rotorua though...
Queenstown NZ. time to bring the team and come over!
Mt. Hood Ski bowl bike park in Oregon, is the only one I have been too. so its my favorite so far
Silver mountain in Kellogg Idaho. No lines, sick difficult runs. It's the best...
I love Ray's
Sick video, please do top five bike parks in UK
Great Martyn đđŒ
Would be great to have insights into the best lift access Trail rides, like in Verbier for those who prefer more natural trails
My favourite bike park is Ă re in sweden especially during the Ă re Bike Festival
Hafjell, Queenstown, ChĂątel, Whistler, Schladming
Can we pls See Martin riding it's always epic
Love love love Rays indoor mtb
Awesome
I knew rays would make the list! Great place to ride. #TheLand
one of my favourites is Bikepark Maribor :)
My favourite bikepark is nevados de chillan
in Chile, is amazing
Blue Derby!?!?
So sad, we had a Ray's in wisconsin 30 min from where I live and it got shut down because the renters jacked the price once they found out trek sponsored it. Now all we've got is a little bike park run by volunteers.
Blue derby tas and maydena tas are amazing
It,s not really a bike park, but you guys need to come ride Jonkershoek near Cape Town, South Africa, Amazing place.
Check out "Bernex vtt" in the French alps or "ChĂątel vtt" also in the French alps
My Favorit bikepark:
Berfelden in Germany
Why:it isn't the biggest one in the Word infact it's really small but because of it's sise you can go on on every trail in under 2houres. Also there are only Flow trails and they are getting msintenanced every weekend. Only negativ point is that there are no really big jumps the biggest jump is about 6m far but with a bit of creativity you can finde some 10m transferes đđ
freerider_jgr erster Kommentar den ich lese ist Beerfelden, so muss das đđ€đœ
I live an hour and a half away from beerfelden but I still prefer to take the extra 30min drive to winterberg, much better bikepark imo, so sick
Anton Paris Winterberg is sik and you have big jumps and much more runs and stuff but i love Flow trails and sometimes i just feel like doing some chilled out runs and don't get this scary seconds when you decide to Hit something really big
đ
freerider_jgr Winterberg has a few, the fourcross, flow country, continental trail, the freerider trail and maybe even the North shore
What really big jumps are in Winterberg? I think there are no jumps that are much bigger then in beerfeldeb
Pilllaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
you mean "Pila"? :D
Skied there, seen the trails. They look fun, but not enough of them to really class as a bikepark.
Where is Coast Gravity on the list? similar to Whistler with the big lines and jumps just without the breaking bumps.... and for those of you think of coming to Canada's Yukon Territory in the summer you gotta ride our local ski hill/bike park Mount Sima, it's not much but for a town of just 25,000 people it is amazing to make lift access mountain biking.
Revolution fastest uplift av been on/ mad tracks something to suite most riders and mean burgers đđ»
Killington bike park Vermont... raw North East gnar at its best. Built by Gravity Research out of BC. Sick!!!
Saalbach-Hinterglemm should have been in there. Its amazing and got 400km of MTB trails.
coastal gravity park on the sunshine coast in BC canada , simply the best flow and steeze to be had
My favorite bike park is Black Rock in Fall City Oregon. it's Soo sick!!!!
For me VALLNORD is the best Bikepark. I am from Barcelona and it's quite close from here. Also, you can ride the best WC track, and meet Cedric Gracia hahaha.
