When i was growing up my best friend and i joined the SEA EXPORER'S (boy scouts with boats) Newport Beach, Ca.........had the blast of a lifetime, sailed to Catalina couple of times, at age 15.........our skipper was a lifelong seaman and knew the boat and the ocean..........miss that very much, especially when i watch your videos.............open sea living appeals to me, even today at age 70...............God bless and stay safe............

Why do you think he’s still showing old footage of Taylor even though she’s been off the boat for months now. Without her T&A his ratings are down. There’s better channels to learn about sailing lol

Anytime I have been At Sea, I got up early to get a cup of Joe and watch the sun rise. There is a silent majesty to those precious minutes from "the rosy fingers of dawn" to sun up. Thanks Skipper, for showing that today. It made me a little "Homesick".
That being said, Your channel has been a light unto the darkness of current events here in The States. Keep up the good work! All Y'all are doing a fine job!

Such stunning scenery. I enjoy this a lot. Reminds me of my trips where I take the good music like the Guns N Roses, Imagine Draongs or the Delta Parole and then enjoy the powerful feeling of the sea. ¡vamos!

Guys! Those sweet potatoes will work just like the familiar ones! I love em. They're a bit more "dry" if that's a correct description but sure sure enough any technique you employ for standard yams will work here as well.
I suggest: S&P, smoked paprika, a tiny bit honey or even better would be a smidgen of cane syrup mixed with half as much vinegar, best olive oil and toss all together and roast hot oven for the win. I'm pretty sure no gluten also. Combine with blanched green veggies and put any well-seasoned roasted fish on top.
Don't waste em, friends. Keep up the great work and I'd love to see more of your cooking.
You can have a drinking game and take a drink every time Bobby says "spinnaker".

I have followed you right from the beginning and thru some crazy times and now this year with Covid and the dogs, you still have put out great videos! I love this boat you have now. It seems to even come across in the videos how much more stable life is without Laura in the picture. I’m gonna really miss Taylor though, just the amount of help she offers when you guys are sailing is more than anyone else ever has.
Dang, Taylor is beautiful. I am not sure how to stay focused on the tasks at hand. This sail is amazing.

Here's a safety tip. I know ropes are hard on hands but never wear gloves around rotating winches, blocks, guides etc. You can get your hands pulled in! Stay safe guys.

(1) The Maritime Mobile HF frequency is 14.300 and they monitor for calls of distress or other needed communications. You can also talk long-distance (DX) to other worldwide stations and have a lot of fun filling the logbook with the various callsigns, locations, and people you've talked with. There is a world of adventure awaiting you in Amateur Radio.

They’re all sweet potatoes but that one in particular is probably a yam. In my opinion better flavor. Very good boiled with garlic cloves and mashed with butter, seared mahi mahi, and browned butter and macadamia nuts…..
