@@quokka444yeah one reporter asked Bryce whether he’s gonna drink since they were playing in Canada or somewhere and the age limit for the drinking there was lower than the US and Bryce answered such way
Doubling down with the “yOu DoN’t hAVe aN AnSwER??” made this so hard to watch😂 Also, I’m sure the reporter meant it as a compliment because of how great Seager has been. But if someone texts you “Man, how could LA let this guy go?” It’s a rhetorical question that you shouldn’t directly ask the player💀
This wasn't his first year with texas. So about 28 months later they ask about. Clearly a reporter from la who hasn't covered a rangers game in the last 28 months.
Professional sports is a business. Some teams have that kind of money to invest in one player and some would rather spread it around for multiple players. The dodgers wanted to spread the money around. Thankfully my Rangers wanted to invest in Seager. He is DEFINITELY worth the money. Very proud of this guy and my Rangers!!
Who is “we”? Because any baseball fan with eyes knew he wasn’t just going to just drop off a cliff. Seager is a baseball psycho that is obsessed with perfecting his craft, he just has that IT factor.
I’m so stupid bro, background knowledge, I just started getting into baseball and ima giants fan, but I went to an Oakland As game because I was visiting fam in the area and they were playing the rangers, we had really good seats because the As suck and we were by the tunnel and Corey seager is signing balls for kids ( I didn’t know who he was at the time) and I was like I don’t care I don’t watch baseball enough to, I started getting into baseball later that month and then proceeded to watch the World Series and watch seager dominate, biggest regret
Because that initial couple of hundred million was not enough money so why not turn it down and go for a couple hundred more million. Greed. Ridiculous. You ball players should be making half a million - 1 million dollars a year at most, based on individual performance. Getting paid outrageous ridiculous amounts of money to play a sport where youre standing and sitting around more than half the game. The whole thing is just preposterous.
Because 1: at this point this was Seager’s 2nd year on the Rangers so the question wasn’t very relevant and both Seager and the Dodgers have moved on just fine from it 2: it feels like a trap question to get Seager to throw shade at the Dodgers 3: Texas offered him more money and the Dodgers didn’t. It’s not some weird mystery 4: The man just won the World Series and is on cloud 9, it’s greasy and shitty timing to ask that question. It’s an example of slimey reporters asking trap questions to get a quote out of a player so they can get clicks. It’s the kind of question that the player has nothing to gain by answering and way more to lose if they do.
That’s like asking “why’d your ex dump you” at someone’s wedding
This is probably one of the greatest analogies ever
At your own wedding lol
Literally
Seager handled that very classy..
well done!
"that's a clown question bro"
Bryce Harper
Did Bryce say this?
@@quokka444yeah one reporter asked Bryce whether he’s gonna drink since they were playing in Canada or somewhere and the age limit for the drinking there was lower than the US and Bryce answered such way
@@kwh1210 respect to Harper for that
Seems like a question for the dodgers
That’s exactly who he needs to be asking

I'm too dumb to recognize it's rhetorical. Seems more like some sort of fallacy.
"People ask what woulda happen if I hadn't signed with Rangers... Well i guess we'll never know"

Yet, they spend it all on one player that never played for them.
“Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence.”
Would have been a amazing quote 😂
And somehow for him that’s a humble brag lol
I love his "I dont know" answer XDDDDD
Honestly we all thought Seager was gonna be buns after he left the dodgers but here we are and I have respect for him
Why would Seager be “buns” after he left LA? No offense, but anyone that thought that has no idea what they’re talking about.
Who is “we” lol no one I know thought seager would be bad you’re a clown
Who is “we”? Because any baseball fan with eyes knew he wasn’t just going to just drop off a cliff. Seager is a baseball psycho that is obsessed with perfecting his craft, he just has that IT factor.
I think it might have been a veiled diss at LA for not paying more, considering the Dodgers got wiped out early on in the playoffs.
Dude is legit
i think it was worded wrong but its more throwing shade at the dodgers than disrespectful to seagar.
I think the reporter meant it like "why on EARTH did the Dodgers let you GO?!"
Well, it is a stupid question. That's a question you'd have to ask the Dodgers.
He don’t give a damn about the dodgers he also don’t like mookie
“Because they wanted to”

Reporter was being a smartass
Revoke their press pass. #accountability
Answer - The Dodgers thought Gavin Lux was better. Just another Pedro Martinez bonehead mistake.
Honestly, he left because he couldnt stand living in LA
he’s just trying to do his job guys
*NOBODY
To a dodger fan thats an excellent question. Why Seager?
I GUESS WE'LL NEVER KNOW!!
Objection here say.
Dodgers made a big mistake
They’ll be back again next year..
Reporters are like wnba players and soccer players pointless.

Why that bad question, asked why did the dodgers let you go? It’s a question
Because
1: at this point this was Seager’s 2nd year on the Rangers so the question wasn’t very relevant and both Seager and the Dodgers have moved on just fine from it

Bad reporter. That’s the best question he can come up with.
Lil dk trumper question. 😮
