At the start I was thinking like this will be a normal EV review..either they will tell the positive or negative. But as it progressed, the owner touched most of the things which no other reviewer told till date. This is what a potential buyer needs to know before buying the car. He not only told about the problems but also gave solutions for it. Well done.

The production process of EVs today causes more pollution at once than a fuel(petrol/diesel) cars cause in their lifetimes.
As of now there are no environmental benefits of EV as electricity production also causes pollution apart from manufacturing related pollution. Benefits will be there when India will shift on green energy predominantly.
Its all about developing ecosystem of EV . After that no problem.

I have seen tonnes of videos on Nexon EV. This video has been the most insightful of them all.
Everyone is criticizing how the owner made a bad decision, but they are not giving attention to the fact about how knowledgeable the person is and how he helped everyone watching this video get a clear picture of the product and already helped everyone who is going to buy an EV now to be already prepared for the problems they might face and have the solution for it beforehand.
The product isn't bad, it's just that the infrastructure isn't that much developed!

Manufacturer need to give complete information, like the charging gun locking system. informative video 👍
From the winter charging issue described, it looks like Tata has missed installing a battery temperature management system for the nexon. lithium ion batteries life gets shortened if charging below 10 degrees C. In other brands, there is a battery pre heating setup which heats battery to bring it into optimum thermal window prior to charging start. Tata has skimped on this here. Also battery cooling is a requirement when using dc fast chargers else overheating of battery will result. Any idea if Tata has put into place at least a cooling system for the battery?

@@Zzzz-nv8hf exempted in most states, some states have 5% tax instead of 12% on regular cars, FAME 2 subsidy is 10000 rs per KW, in Nexon EV it's 2 lakh 78 thousand, plus state subsidy in my state ( Gujarat ) 1 lakh 50000 plus no road tax fees no registration etc. if you consider only the subsidy it's 45% of the car's value, if you consider road tax and 7% benifit etc it's 60%, government is paying for more than half of your car. Puri car free kyu nahi de rahe environment ki pdi hai to, that question remains 😂😂😂

110 petrol price ke baad bhai bahut sahi lag rahi hai ev 30 units mein charge ho jaati aur 250 km chali jaati hai yaani 1rs/km se bhi kam.

Found the car owner little confused. Some time he says it's good some time he says it's problematic. There are lot of videos on Nexon EV on CZcams where people have done unimaginable trips with it. So for me it is little disappointing to hear bad comments about the car from this person. Everyone knows about the charging infrastructure progress in the country so he should be positive and optimistic about his decision. Irrespective of what was told in the video or whoever has whatever opinion about Nexon EV, I will definitely buy it.
It's really a good car, even I am disappointed that how title is misleading and whole reveiw is creating negativity. I am a proud Nexon Ev Owner and I love everything about it.

Hello, I am not sure whether you guys read my comments or not but just requesting to change the “Tag Line” of this video. It delivering a negative message. I watched this video and i do agree with the hassles facing by the owner but EV is indeed a good option for environment and it’s in development phase. And development takes years to settle its not a overnight journey. Hence, requesting to change it to some other interesting tag line. Lots of user including me start watching this video with negative mindset. Even there are lots of charging related issue with Tesla even today in US market still Tesla products are doing well. You guys are doing well and appreciate your hard work. Hope you guys understood what I meant to say. Thanks.

Hello , if you own EV then on Service they remap CMS , ESC ( Traction Inverter). OBD scanning of BMS is done . All HV contactors and isolators relays are inspected.

Great video. Problem with EV:
1. Range: 400-600 req.
2. Cost of buying. Many say, this cost will justify later as electricity is cheaper. But even fuel base price is 34, real catch is the tax by gov. Gov wil never lose the revenue. So at one point in future, they will tax on charging as well. So that might not entirely be cheaper.
3. Environment: well we are not directly burning fuel. But still fuel is burning at station. + Lithium ion battery mining and it's waste will not help the env.
Gov should work on more ethanol blended fuel and automobile industry should adopt such engine.
Let's see what will happen in this sector.
If u think li ion mining is dirty u should see how dirty the petrol mining is
