Nexon XE 2021 Petrol , done 7700 kms in 4 months . Averaging 21 - 16 kmpl between ECO and Sports mode . Absolutely no complaints in after sales .I don’t know why there is a misconception that Tata Motors after sales service is poor - never faced any problem even when I used Indica Xeta 1.4 till 2016 ! They didn’t have fancy customer lounges or polished service representatives then but they solved any issues faced in the car without emptying my pockets. If you don’t need fancy features and need max. bang for your money - XE variant is the best option !
My Nexon Diesel gives 23+ kmpl on highways and 20 in city when driven in sports and city modes mix. With best in class safety.

I purchased Nexon xz +(O) in Dec 2021...I suggest to reset the trip meter...my car is showing only 8kpml even after 300 km trip. I googled and found a video where a reviewer suggested to reset the trip meters and it worked...my Nexon went to 15kmpl immeditely after reset..in very light traffic...New nexon owners please note it.
Though I am fan of his CZcams channel but the person, of whose this car is, says that he drives only in sports mode, n next he says mileage is really bad, sports mode will never give mileage secondly the modes r made with a great sensibility, city is for city, eco is for highway n sports is well for sporting,l activities. But I guess the rationality has completely vanished, sunroof k can get stuck but the last video when it happened on this channel, the owner of that car accepted that his kids were standing on his roof n were jumping, post that sunroof created problem. Well I m not a big fan of Tata but this car is not meant for traffic ln I hate it when I drive in traffic but I absolutely love when I am on highway.
He still raises a fair point. Even in sports mode, how can the mileage go so far down when even much more aggressive and chunky full or mid sized SUVs can give more?

I purchased tata nexon xz+ diesel in 2018 September. I get mileage of 14 in city huge traffic. And get 26kmpl at highways. I have tested many times with full tank petrol method.
Today's drive
270 km
Approximately 100 km was in mountains
First 85 km was on plain road
From which nearly half was on four track highway that is ludhiana to phagwara
Then phagwara to hoshiarpur single road
Ludhiana to hoshiarpur MID was showing always 26+ even went upto 27.4
Driving speed was 60-70 km/hr
Then mountain drive with sports mode and return back when reached home MID was showing 20.5
On return back driving speed goes upto 70-80
So performance of the vehicle for average depends on driving and handling on the road
Rough drive can't provide best mileage

Having Nexon Petrol AMT, in worst city conditions fuel average never dropped below 11km and on highways got average upto 19.8 Km/ltr. It all depends how we accelerate. Even with my XUV300 (petrol) always got decent fuel average, while driving on Delhi Gurgaon, easily able to maintain average between 14.8 to 17.
Same goes for me... I think the driver doesn't use instant fe feature..

Takes some time to get used to a turbo petrol engine especially when you are switching from a naturally aspirated one. You will get a minimum 12+ mileage once you get in tune with the car.
I have used the Nexon xz+ for more than a year n i m getting mileage of 16-17 (AC always ON) on 9000kms . All 3 modes used equally. Engine noise isn't a much concern as it's a turbo charged one. Safety , space, comfort , AC, engine power, high speed control n stability , ground clearance for all terrain ....all these things supergood . Service is also great here in my city (Nashik). Absolutely satisfied and happy with the product from TATA !!!

I am also running TATA NEXON XZ (2020) PETROL and completed 25k approx. in 14 months and now i am getting 18-19 kmpl (speed 30-40) in city and 21-22 kmpl on highway (speed was 85-110). My recently journey was 1700 km approx. from UP to ASSAM and got 23.3 kmpl mileage (speed 75-85). Even, hill journey to TAWANG, it performed really well.

19.8 ka milage nikala mene nexon se city drive highway drive or thoda bahut hilly drive milake...i love my nexon... issue to hr gaadi me hote h but safety hr gaadi me nhi milegi...

My nexon petrol old model gave 16.9 on highway..and my friend's new petrol nexon gave 17 kpl on long run...there occurred some issues in bluetooth connection after 10k..but that was resolved

Driving XMA AMT DIESEL 2021 BS6 I can say that this is the best AMT as per the mileage I am getting 20kmpl on highway and in city it's 15-16. Go ahead with TATA 👍 driven more than 25,000kms
Rear design is different than usual cars , i personally didn't like it...
Drive was comfortable and gave very solid feeling of control and performance. No doubt PPL are loving it.

Read design sucks. One of the reasons why I don’t like Nexon. Rear design gets covered a bit in dark variant which is around 16L on road. Isse accha MG Astor hi le leta.
I also use bs4 2019 model xm petrol city milage 13 to 14 n highway 18 to 20 easily on 70 to 90 on city mode n safety superb after servicing milage improve surely

I test drive Nexon, XUV and EcoSport but felt best in XUV300 driving inside feel like actual SUV. Nexon is also good. XUV mileage is good on highways 22kmpl in MID I don't know how when ARAI claim 20kmpl
Got 16.5 avg for the trip of about 1600 kms for the petrol manual version. Covered all kinds of terrains like highways,city, ghats etc. No issues whatsoever.
For the trip of about 450 kms from jalgaon to Pune got the average of 17.4.

Bro don't worry about the mileage. I have 2016 model alto K10 and it was giving only 12 kmpl till 30000 kms in the odometer but the company claims 24 km plus per litre. Infact Nexon is a much heavier car than k10. So what I feel is that your Nexon mileage is ok. All the company claimed fuel efficiency are never true. Don't lost hope with your new car. Hopefully your mileage will improve after 20 to 30 thousand kms.

There is no problem in first gear ...yes back gear has an issue but not very big ...you need to just understand your car ...I have run 10000+ km and so superb car ...no problem so far

Meri Nexon XM petrol hai. Dec 2020 me li. 2 Nov 2021 ko 15k km 3rd service oil change, ac filter aur oil filter change ₹2760/- me hua Jaika motors Wardha mein. Lekin ab mujhe 3/4th gear me 1500rpm pe 40 ke upar jaise hi gadi jati hai jhatka sa lagta hai 1-2 baar.. pehle to aisa nahi laga. Turbo boost hota hai to pehle pick up malum padta tha, ab kyun jhatka lag raha hai? Kya issue ho sakta hai?? Please guide me.
Clutch pedal nicely use karo ek dam sa nat chodo slowly accelerate karo or slowly clutch pedal chodo aapka issue apka clutch use karna k tarika mai hai

Every car has such issues,, I faced power window issue and rusting issue on gates with my creta. Same goes for my nexon so this is pretty common

I have diesel top variant and there is no issue at all. I feel my family is safe in this car as compared to other cars. As far as mileage is concerned it gives me mileage of more than 21kmpl if driven normally

VW Polo ki bhi 3 cylinder turbocharged engine hai. Usme toh sound and vibrations hai hi nahi zero hai. Tata ki negatives bhi dekha kar bhai. Itna tareef karta mat reh. Andha bhakt Tata ka

Just drive Sonet or Venue's 3cylinder Turbocharged petrol engine.. it has best refinement & Minimal vibrations. They are not solid car like Nexon or XUV but when it comes to engine refinement, They rocks. even Diesel engine's has less noise then Tata's petrol engine.

My Tata nexon, XM petrol has run about 3500 km, I got its delivery in august 21, i'm getting 18+ km/litre mostly running in highway.
According to my knowledge 3 cylender engines are little noisy but they give better fuel efficiency than 4 cylender engines.
1 cylinder will give even better mileage

XUV300 Petrol is much refined and silent engine. Better design and safety as well. Drivability of XUV300 is way superior than Nexon and all others in the segment.

There is no such issue with sunroof. When you turn off ignition while operating Sunroof then it malfunctions but one can reset using User's manual. I ran in to same issue once and got it fixed in a min

I have viewed six of your review videos, all at one go... I like the way you take us through the review, your style of narration and the points and aspects you cover.
BUT... One very sore point in all your videos, the the very casual and irresponsible way in which you handle the steering wheel... Do you take into consideration that you are driving someone else's vehicle and as an experienced driver, you hold the steering wheel with BOTH hands, especially while turning and NOT use the palm of your right hand to negotiate a turn, in some cases, you do this even for a U turn.
You gesticulate very often, while speaking and take both your hands off the steering wheel too!! Takiya kalam thoda kam karo yaar!!
I am sure, many of your subscribers are watching and emulating your actions... Bad Sir, you should set a good example, by safe driving habits.

I have Tata nexon petrol...I feel the mileage on uid is higher than actual.....it shows 15 kmpl on uid but in tank to tank it comes around 13 (driven total of 15k)....
Also the gears shifts feels like you are driving a bus....buy only if u want car below 10 lakh .. not value for money if u r going for higher models

My Nexon Petrol manual. 1400km driven. It gave 16kmpl in 250km trip with some 40km in ghat. And max speed 90-105km.
But EV has a minor problem there aren't many charging stations in India. Once this infra is taken care then there is a solution for pollution control.
Regarding this video, the videographer has taken super shots and his performance is better than the vehicle.
It will take time to run EV smoothly 2 to 3 years within Pan India 🇮🇳

My XZA+ petrol gives 19 in highway and 12 in city trafic in city mode. Yes vibration is there when car is in idel .

you have to go on long drive to get average numbers updated, because initially average is very less as its a new
my friend also faced the same issue with Average reading on the console, but after his goa trip from Hyd current average reading is 19kmpl and the car is Swift Dzire 2021 model

Bhai mai 20 month se nexon xz+model use kar raha hu... ek sabse badi dikkat hai avarge 16 hazar kilometer chala chuka hu 10 se jyada avarage nahi deti.. or speed 130/140 speed se chalao to 7/8 se jyada avarge nahi degi.. city me 10 se jyada nahi.. 70 ki speed se economy mode pe apko 14/15 ka avarage degi... or pick up bilkul nahi city or economy

Had a terrible experience with Nexon Kraz..
*Vehicle broke down in 2nd month of purchase.
*Rear power window motor malfunction in 4th month.
* Problematic drive mode knob.
* Disastrous mileage.
Had to sell it at the lowest price possible. 😥😥

You are absolutely right. I m totally agree with you. India ke pass road banane ki basic technology bhi nahi. Ek hi baarish me big potholes ban jate hai. Even African countries now have good technology of road construction.
There are some problems i am facing with my Nexon
1. Gear shifting is not as easy as with other cars
2. Sometimes reverse gear removes on itself
3. In city traffic, not smooth
4. Clutch comes back very fast after pressing and releasing
5. Mileage in city is around 10-11
There are some pros about it
1. Superb space
2. Easy to drive on highway and on higher gear
3. Highway average is above 16
4. AC is 🥶
5. Safety
6. Looks ( from my opinion)
I am also facing the same issue as mentioned in point 2. Bought Nexon XZ+ (Dark) a week back. I guess that is somewhat a safety feature to make sure the driver has intentionally put on the reverse gear. Put a little more effort in reverse gear and the gear wont come back on its own.
