This is a touchdesigner basic effects tutorial.
You can easily create effects with only basic operations, based on geometry instance and feedback top.
By changing the scaling of the values such as math chop, transform sop and transform top as you like, the effect changes its appearance.

I get lost at the sphere-null4-geometry step (right about at 4 mins into your video)
I don’t have the same options as you under Instance Count Mode. I just have the options Manual and Instance OP(s) Length with the Instance OP(s) Length as default with an Instance CHOP/DAT/SOP options that when I drag the null 3 into it I dont get the options that you got for tx, ty, tz like your did
This step in crucial and its not working for me :( Any clue how I can add the CHOP Length/DAT Num option that you have? Because that is where mine differs from yours

      Thank you for your comment.
I have no special settings for instance count. This is the default setting in my touchdesigner.
I think it may be a version issue.
I am using the latest non commercial version.
I am sorry I could not give you certain information.

Default Instance Op is your field to drag to, most likely, Jessica
